I hadn’t thought about going through one full battery cycle. Thanks for the suggestion.

The only thing I don't check is on-board charging, since I don't use it. Easier to swap out than plug in and wait :)

But if one were to use the USB charging that most now come with, it would make sense to test that, as well. That has been the failure mode on some, so deserves a test if going to be use.

Most of my stash is new in the box. The mods will stay that way until I'm more certain I won't have a source for products. Then I'll upgrade firmware. When an item is brand new to me I do some testing and if I like it get several more. I've spent more time deciding what to buy than buying. I figure there are more deals to come if the US market shrinks a lot. I don't have any idea about what else I want to buy so it will probably take crazy good prices to move me. The Chinese companies could be hurt but they still have a global market that's growing.

I tried researching the effectiveness of US customs at intercepting small packages. No clear answers to that yet. (I read there is a customs center on the east coast that processes 1 million packages daily.) My plan A is it won't matter. I vaped for 4 years on one setup. I've got plenty of toys now and don't expect to hunger for the lastest and greatest.

Now for a little nostalgia. Think back to 2016, remember the Griffin tank? Tons of us bought and enjoyed them...but a better designed tank was the Vaporesso Gemini tank, very similar but a bit nicer. Wet Vapes still has some new old stock of this old classic for only $5.00 . I just picked up one. Going to really enjoy re-experiencing this tank after all this time.

Want more for $4 less and replacement glass, too?
Vaporesso Gemini

Been trying to post that for 45 minutes. Darn computer problems!

Okay, for 99 cents, I couldn't pass that up. I much prefer RTAs from that era than what they're making these days. I just ordered 4 along with extra glass and subtank coils. Total: $9.96 plus shipping. Thanks, JCinFla!

I could never get my Griffins to wick correctly and ended up with a lot of leaking. My Vaporesso Gemini came DOA something about the posts and it was clearance so no return. Those two experiences are a big part of the reason I avoid building. I'm probably just horrible at it but yeah, no luck last time around. I almost stuck with it just because of how good the Griffin vaped when I did have it working correctly but I moved and rah rah rah.

Was about to order some for Dad whose much better at fiddling than me but they won't ship to RI... who only has a flavor ban. I'm starting to wonder if some of these sites won't ship to RI strictly because it might have to go through Mass to get there. Maybe if they're still around tomorrow after everyone else gets a chance I'll order them to my house and ship them from here.

Today I also received another gallon of VG. I’m paranoid about the WA bans. I think I’m going to order a few more gallons of it just to have around. Lord knows I have enough nic.
Why would you need to stock more than a gallon of VG? They can't and won't ban that.

I mean there were no codes the other day when I ran honey...literally none...with no coils in my cart. Honey is now giving me codes so they must have added more. Yeah that coils code gives me fits...you just have to keep playing around with your cart until you can add a different code by doing exactly what you said. o_O
They always have codes, but their codes are one time use. However, if you use a different email address you can use them again.

I just charge them via the usb as I use them at my desk (basically like a pass-through). That's where I spend most of my time. I also usually have 3-4 setups in use, so while one is charging I just use a different one. I rarely need to use my charger.
