That is one of the reasons I love my xtar battery charger. It will charge to a storage level for 18650, 2x700s etc. So I was able to stock some extra batteries and just check them once a month or so to see if they are in that storage state or need a topoff
Once a month is overkill. I've never seen a cell at a (roughly) 50% state of charge lose a more than a tenth of a volt after a full year. Checking them once or twice a year is plenty.

“Came out of my no buy yesterday”

didn’t even last the full 24 hours :lol:

edit; read that before you said 6 months lol
Just a month since I’ve bought anything. A record amongst these parts. My credit card is breathing a sigh of relief.

Don't know if the information still any good but here are a couple of posts from a couple of weeks ago:

I know I am not @BigPappa - However, I did post this information about getting the "Justfog MiniFit" in a few threads recently (I think even here):

The "Justfog MiniFit" which is highly rated by a number of ECF people (I just got a couple but haven't tried them ye). Everzon has them on sale:

    $5.75 - Red/Bronze
    $8.51 - Silver/Black
    Blue out of stock

    JUSTFOG MINIFIT Starter Kit 370mAh

AND - Additional PODS (which are supposed to be rebuildable) are only $4.34 for a box of 3 . . .

    JUSTFOG Minifit Pod 3 Units

Some people are also talking about the "G-taste Mimo Pod", which they also have on sale & are giving 3 PODS as a gift:

G-taste Mimo Pod System Kit 450mah

Once you register as a new client on Everzon - there is a 15% OFF Retail (DO NOT sign-up as Wholesale client - "My" BAD big mistake) Discount code for first time purchase: FP15

Or - if you are already registered there is also a discount using the code: CHEAPVAPINGDEAL

    EDIT > > > > Or - Just saw another Discount code for 5% OFF: HSF5

SO - Ya' may want to check-out what else they might have you can use there too . . .

    Hopefully some of this information is helpful . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

No doubt if I'm vaping an RTA in 20 years, it will be some flavor of Kayfun. That's really all I've stocked up on. That and Orchids which are just a Kayfun copy set up for dual coil.
If anyone sees the 25mm Kayfun clones (i.e. Kayfun V5 Squared), let me know. Bought two, and really liked. Then broke one and FT says no longer available.

The more modern, authentic painted tanks are probably not a problem. But I got jaded back in 2015-ish when I bought a black subtank and the paint inside started to peel. Ejuce with floating pieces of paint in it. Kanger messed up bigtime there.

Never bought a painted tank since. But I'd buy one as long as the inside isn't painted.

I hear the newer subtanks and the toptanks do not have that issue, but I don't know about $7 clones.
Yes, smart choice. And word to the wise, some of the paints/coatings use/contain things you don't want in (or in contact with) your juice.

I had that exact thing happen with my subtanks. I was shocked to see the paint bubbling off. I promptly soaked all my painted subtanks and removed all that paint.

This is why I went for an original Toptank mini, in stainless finish.

Fingers crossed, tomorrow I should see a lot of 0.5 ohm heads arrive for it. Assuming it checks out okay (I like the 0.5 ohm, in that specific tank), I'll order a second tank in stainless; it'll run $19 or $20 shipped.

Yeah, I agree. I'm not much of a worrier about things like that. But there's really no reason at all to have the inside of a tank painted. Even if you trust the mfg. Introduces a whole lot more unnecessary risk to the equation.
