I have a question for those of you that have been stocking up for years: do you regret any of your purchases? If you’re like me, you get more excited about all the new stuff that comes out and the stuff I bought 3 years ago is no longer appealing to me. I know many are happy with gear that’s been around for years but was just curious about others who are using newer tanks and mods
My one and only regret is back around 2016 or so,i really liked the Griffin rta's,that was my go to tank,so i stocked up on 14 of them.A few weeks later i started squonking, and have never used an rta since.I figure years down the road when my son has nothing else to use,he can grab those, but still a big chunk of money i could of used on other squonk stuff haha.

I am honestly glad I am fully stocked, this virus has really disrupted things and I would hate to be in a panic buying mode at this late date. My current stocking mode is do I have enough supplies & food for a two week quarantine if I have too. No covid 19 cases here but probably just a matter of time. Crazy times!
Same. Going this weekend to stock supplies for both my family and my parents. This virus has me worried. My mom still smokes and after smoking most of her 80 year life she’s very vulnerable to this virus.

I’ve stocked from scratch since September. My only regret is buying older gear in the beginning of the hoard cause it was cheap (a couple of smok mods and a handful of mechs that I’ll probably never use). Then I thought about it and started buying newer gear during sales. The old stuff will be good for end of times though and I didn’t spend much money on it.

Guess the most I can contribute right now is a glowing review for coils that are now out of stock everywhere... so you know, real useful.

These Vaporesso GT 0.2 coils are fantastic. For some reason the Geekvape Super Mesh x2, GT 0.4 and GT 0.5 coils all get a max of 2 weeks before they taste horrible and I have to throw them away. The 0.2 is now in service over a month and still tastes great.

I'm probably going to load up a new coil soon but it won't be because the taste has diminished. It'll be based strictly on the fact that I know what a month old coil looks like (black with my juice) and I don't want to be vaping on that for longer just to set some personal record.
I would save them and clean them to get another week out of each one.... but I am a penny pincher. lol

2) i tried it myself and i came to one startling conclusion, flavours didnt work for me..maybe because the essential truth is when i smoked, it was one flavour for 35 years. Which is why unflavoured was the key, almost no taste, but consistency you couldnt find in any juice on the market, whether it was premixed or mixed from doublers or concentrates. People ask me "arent you tired of unflavoured after 4 years"..."No", and its the one thing that saved me from go back to smoking. Unflavoured is endlessly repeatable, no steeping needed (yes it can improve over time as with any juice), but its essentially shake and vape. When i was vaping nic my weekly vape cost me AUD$0.72...
Same here... both the wife an I have been doing unflavored for years now. It costs us $0.56/week USD each.

I tried mixing flavors for a while, mostly tobacco flavors, but we dabbled in a dozen others... it just never felt satisfying. As far as buying premade mixes, we did a batch of one that we liked from Johnson Creek, then there was a Dekang USA tobacco mix that was my all time favorite but I could never duplicate it, and last year I tried a Boss Juice that tasted similar to the Johnson's Creek.. but could not do it full time, just add a few drops of the pre-mix into my unflavored. But I would still have a couple mods in the rotation with unflavored too.

Unflavored does have a small hint of flavor to it, but we cut down from 36mg to 18mg over the past 12 years (mostly in the past 5-7 years) and I get less of a throat hit with the lower nic, which is a small disappointment, but otherwise, unflavored is where it's at for us.

The best part about unflavored is coil life. I have one coil that has lasted me over 6 months at 14hrs a day (my work desk setup), I stopped counting after 6 months. Other coils from other setups usually last at the very least 1 month, but usually 3+.

Yeah, I bought a ton of older stuff in the beginning as well due to the price, but I am disappointed with much of it. Might try to ditch it in the classifieds. I don't mind smok though, I know a lot of people have had problems with them, but knock on wood, I never have.

The things I regret are not getting a few more Revenger X kits this time around... that and getting more of the .2 ohm GT's for $1/pack from eightvape when they ran that sale. I only got 20 packs because I wasn't sure if I would like them and by the time I got them, they sold out. Plus I wish I had waited on my Pico/Melo III mini kits for this last deal at 19.99 for the mega kit because it takes the newer batteries, although I did get a few Picos separately already that take them. And maybe instead of 6 solos, I could have gotten 4 solos and 2 legends.. (I will probably get the legends anyway though even though I certainly do not need them).

Yeah, I agree, stocking up now would suck donkey balls. And we are going to get like 3 weeks of food and supplies tomorrow... only a handful of cases so far in our state, but I would rather be stocked now than fighting with large groups of people for scraps on the shelves like it is when hurricanes are about to hit. And if nothing comes of it, it will save me from stocking up for Hurricane season come June 1st. (with the exception of water). The nice thing is we can stock up on refrigerated and frozen food because the virus is not going to knock out the electric like a hurricane does. lol

I didn’t buy anything new that I regret but started going through my stash from years ago and found stuff I probably won’t use unless it’s the last thing left. I bought stuff here and there but never really stocked up on purpose until this past year. A freezer and nine liters of nic were the most important purchase.

We've had a stocked up pantry so I just added some extra snacks in case we're stuck in the house for a week or three. I'd also hate to be in a position as a vaper where I held off stocking up supplies until now. Although there may be some more great deals by the deeming date, many things I like have pretty much disappeared.

My biggest problem is fitting a few packages of sale corned beef in a freezer stocked with nic. I'll survive.

I had a few of the the kanger sub tank with the rda ? Hated that thing, so I was able to trade them off. I found my tank I really like, it’s easy to build and fill. It will leak if goes on its side, it’s not perfect but it’s fine with me. I stocked up on them, ordered another 3 for parts and that’s it. I’m looking for a corrola and some fodi v2 but they look to be discontinued.

It does frustrate me when i see newbs going down the flavour rabbit hole and spending a small fortune chasing unicorn juice for 2 reasons

    1) its expensive, learn to mix and its orders of magnitude cheaper

    2) i tried it myself and i came to one startling conclusion, flavours didnt work for me..maybe because the essential truth is when i smoked, it was one flavour for 35 years. Which is why unflavoured was the key, almost no taste, but consistency you couldnt find in any juice on the market, whether it was premixed or mixed from doublers or concentrates. I always find vape reviewers pulling out a bottle of juice and talking about it like its a fine wine from the Bordeaux region of France highly ridiculous. Its right up there with them banging about their quad alien blah blah clapton from <insert some guys name here who im supposed to believe is some sort of necromancer when it comes to wire and is better than me and my screwdriver and straight round wire builds> on facebook...

Vaping is utilitiarian to me, i have no time for the faffing...

I think everyone who starts diy should try flavorless first. At the very least, they’ll have something to vape while their recipes steep, and they find some that are going to work for them.

It’s not for everyone though. I’ve vaped flavorless, and I don’t mind it, but I still prefer flavors.

I think I’ve had minimal waste. I wouldn’t say I’ve been entirely frugal about buying ingredients, I buy all the flavors I want to try. But I have never spent more on ingredients than I would have on commercial juice, I’ve probably not spent even half as much.

Since I developed issues with pg early into vaping, I had to go into diy early. There wasn’t a lot of flavors without pg so I began using menthol crystals since I was a menthol smoker at the time. I did find real flavors love them, but they stopped making candy cane and no longer carry vg watermelon. I still have about 4oz of watermelon but I really miss candy cane. I couldn’t afford to buy flavors to only find out they had pg in them:(

I have enough for vaping forever, and I always have some food and household stuff in the cupboards. I need to grab some extra dog food and supplies. I always count on ordering, but there’s been a lot out of stock online lately, odd things I wouldn’t have thought of, but all supply chains are vulnerable.

Is this the one you're looking for? I've ordered from them before. The shipping is a little high but if you can't find it anywhere else then it might be worth it.

Nope, no regrets. But them I'm in the camp of being perfectly content using the gear I bought back then. It's all quality stuff that was by no means inexpensive, and it all still works as well as it did when it was brand new. In fact I've seen nothing that's been introduced over the past three to four years that appeals to me enough to buy it. Wait, there was one atty.. I bought one to try, but didn't like it as well as the ones I already had.

It says the color is orange so it’s not. I had a nice email with real flavors and they told me it was too costly for them to continue to make it. There website also has changed too. No longer food related.

From what I understand, real flavors was bought by the company that I posted the link to. They had said they were going to try to continue making the original recipes of the flavors but maybe that one didn't work out.

Don’t have a clue, not risking it. I’m fine with menthol so all is not lost.
