You're exactly right with their using the won't somebody please think of the children as a cover. They've done it for many many years that's always there fall back plan whenever an industry is starting to eek away at money that's being made and campaign contributions and such. It really boils down to who has the most money in order to have strong lobbying positions and who can buy the most politicians. As far as risk goes in vaping is very very low compared to other risky things that teens do. The only accurate argument that can be said in the teens trying out nicotine department where E-cigarettes are worse than cigarettes is that it's harder to notice that your teenager is vaping because it doesn't have that strong smell now of course kids can get around that with cigarettes God knows I did. Also it's really only an argument against very small stealthy devices. There are some pods that I've seen that I wouldn't know that they were a vaping device. I still don't feel that even that is a good enough argument because just like you said I would much rather my kid vape than smoke and ultimately I am responsible for parenting my children not the government. In their studies or their surveys really that they've done even with the increase in teens vaping there still has been a decrease of teens using nicotine products. And in the studies with vaping showing a prevalent amongst teens compared to other nicotine forms they didn't do a good enough job of differentiating between actual addiction and kids trying something which is not only normal but can actually be healthy. I'm not saying that trying a cigarette or trying a vape is a healthy thing for a child to do just that it's a healthy part of development for children to try risky things. And again when we're talkin risk factors e-cigarettes fall very low. Meanwhile alcohol is not only risky to the teenager it's risky to those around the teenager because a drunk teenager can get people killed. It also is inebriated so not only is the bad choice to drink being done but other bad choices that can have huge repercussions can be made while intoxicated. So there's not only the primary risk but there's a ton of secondary. With e cigarettes or even cigarettes that's simply not true
    Very well put AvaOrchid.
Isn't it strange that all of the documented claims around Vaping, in terms of its killing our kid, making them become addicted like junkies, vaping causex cancer, nicotine is carcinogenic........... need I go on.......ALL appear to be utter hogwash, YET when anyone dare question their findings to back up all this nonsense, it gets swept under the carpet.
How this is allowed to carry on really is beyond me.
Their outcome on these restriction and bans with no real justification other than total lies to the people amounts to murder.
These decisions are obvious that the amount of people switching back to smoking is going to expand and many many more thousands of lives are going to be lost.

It's called a riftcore solo and it's by joyetech.
i got one a while ago for exactly the reasons you mentioned. Haven't used it yet, though. It's like my backup backup for my backup ... if i ever get too enfeebled to be able to install a coil into an rta, or too poor to buy both wire & cotton. (Assuming i can ever manage to properly install a coil into an rta in the first place, of course.) Hope to never use it much but glad to have it.
It's great of you to PIF yours. Thank you!

How this is allowed to carry on really is beyond me.
    Simple: $$$$$$$

Perhaps rather than focus on singlely banning vaping, they should also look at baning alcohol, cars, cigarettes and ban having sex.
    Give 'em time.

And I'm sure they don't go out of their way to mention that perhaps amongst all risky behaviors vaping may not be top of the list for governmental intervention LOL. I honestly believe that if you were able to take a time machine and go back till like the first development of homo sapiens Sapient human beings those who were the equivalent to teenagers considering the early death life span that they must have had would have been trying to ride the woolly mammoth rather than trying to hunt it in a large group with their tribesmen.

I am a firm believer in de-evolution. Man was created as good as we are going to get, and it's been downhill since.

Thank you. The whole stocking up process can spiral out of financial control super fast. I ordered a 75W ILeaf, finally ordered an Agreis Solo, Dwarv 22mm mini. Wondering about the top fill option. Still need batteries & chrger? Tried to find a store to order more Eliquid & Batteries To put one orderer together that covers shipping. Wild Vape is out of batteries
You're late to the game, but deals are still to be had, just harder to find. 18650batterystore.com had Molicel P26A's when I ordered last week for $2.99 per battery if that helps you any.

So my wife found a method to open up a Solo to change it's buttons.

    1. Stand in front of sink
    2. Drop on hard tiled surface
    3. pick up pieces
    4. Give to husband to reassemble

Actually there was enough 'sticky stuff' left around the edge and on the Solo that the screen cover 'stuck' in place pretty well.

Not sure, but there might have been a light touch of glue in the middle of one edge of the cover. You can see where it looks different. Or perhaps that's just a leftover molding mark from when it was made.

    ...and THIS!

    Gripper 18350

I wonder if I still have that extension piece laying around somewhere.

Hey, I had one of the original Plastic Groove's.... No issues with it having problems, which if memory serves me was the metal cased ones (II's) with screws (sheet metal types with the pointy ends !!!) that punctured the battery pack inside. Any way, I haven't used it in years and when I took it out to check it, my plastic case was popping it's seams... I removed the swollen battery pack, and a reason I stay away from internal battery devices for the most part.

Agreed. I do the same, at least where lipos are concerned. Regular internals (18350 or 18650) are fine for me. We've seen a few expanded lipos. @Katdarling had two that did it, which wasn't particularly fun.

I ultimately prefer externals, but there are a few mods with batteries like I mentioned that I just can't give up.

They are awesome batteries, I got a couple from the same place a few months ago and I get on average 590 puffs (1800 seconds) of life from each on 20 watts @ 0.96 ohm (temperature controlled).

I was surprised how well they do since I'm used to running 3000 mAh batteries from LG and Samsung.

Probably just an optical illusion or trick of the light, but is the tank dented top left in the pic?

No, that's what Zlides are like. Push to open, top fill.

David, no ... what Katya said. The 'shock' of hitting the floor did 'turn it off though'. Needed the 5 clicks to get it going again after I put it back together.
