Five minutes on this site this morning and I ordered ten more boxes of my nautilus .7 coils from Element Vape. Ten bucks a box and I don’t worry about counterfeits...good enough for me. My old shop couldn’t sell them to me that cheap...they’re probably still $17 each there. Also ordered five more Billet Box replacement tanks from FT since you guys seem to think the shipments are going more smoothly...but I’ve had backups for that so no rush. It can take its time.

Seems like we’ve been “on the edge” for such a long time...it’s hard to believe the Day may almost be here. I’ve been reading everything trying to figure out the “insider opinions” about what’s going to happen and I still can’t figure it out. Feels like those in the know believe that stocking up was wise.

well I found the coils and the place had podstick kits for $10.99 so I grabbed one. It uses the larger EUC coils that I have 20 boxes of and nothing to put them in LOL. Did I mention it is hard to tell the mini coils from the larger EUC coils? Ask me how I know. LOL

Edit: From what I understand the pod with some effort can be taken apart and a new coil stuck in it. Weather it works or not? Who knows. For that price its worth a try since I have the coils.

I'm confused. Are you saying the podstick uses EUC coils? If it's the vaporesso podstick then it takes replaceable pods. The coils aren't replaceable but the pods are fairly inexpensive. I bought a bunch of the podsticks and pods a while back. It's a handy pocket carry for work.

    Here's a code for vpdistributions.com for 20% off entire order WELCOME20 good through 10/31/2020/

The shopping cart shipping estimate gives the wholesale shipping charge which on my $20 order was $9.99, but when checking out my order was set as retail by default and the actual shipping charge was $3.99

FT sells a replacement logic board and screen for the Pico 75's. I bought a few for my stash of Pico's last year. My original Pico from when they were released is still going strong. As you guys know, they are very tough/durable mods. One of the most underrated IMO.

Here is the FT link for the board/screen...
$9.93 iStick Pico 75W Styled TC VW APV Box Mod Control Module - 1-75W / 200-600'F(100-315'C) at FastTech - Free Shipping

I haven't had to swap one yet. It does not look to be a difficult task at all. IIRC one of the folks in the old Pico thread did swap theirs and it works fine.

One thing to note is if you are using the Arctic Fox firmware the replacement board does not support AF.

There are concerns that OLED screens can fade over about 10 years even siting on the shelf unused. My Pico'S and VTC mini's are in my stock pile partly because they can be configured via PC with artic fox firmware.

Glass in an atomizer could break if there is glass. Gaskets could need to be replaced. Threads could strip or wear out. The insulator between the center pin and the tank could break. Screws or the drip tip could be lost.

My primary and still favorite atomizer is reletively simple and tough and I was able to get a bunch of them basically dirt cheap, strength in numbers. I took a simillar approach to mods. I stockpiledd picos and vtc minis and still prefer them to any others.

I hope this is a myth, but not much we can do. I do have some REALLY old LED mods and some mechs, so it's not 100% scary to me if true.

I have only one mod so far that has a deteriorating screen which is a Pico 75W. It doesn't have completely dead pixels but it has quite a few dim pixels. I'd say at least 30% are dim. When I realized it about 2 months ago I opened it up to see if there was maybe juice inside on the board. I had the whole thing apart, dry as a bone and clean.

So I guess it's just old. But I have mods that are years older than the Pico 75W that have no sign of screen dimming or dead pixels. Did I drop the Pico? Probably. :D

The deteriorating 510 positive pin insulators are definitely a big deal. I've had several go bad on me both on mods and tanks.

This is why I save all my coil heads. They have many parts that can be used to fix other things, including rubber gaskets, o-rings and insulators.

I don't have a PICO, but with those replacement boards maybe I should finally break down and get one... lol

Question - Does anyone remember the US site that was settling mech give clones at good prices?
    Was it BetterVapes?
The Vape Factor still has authentic mechs at excellent prices.

They still have the 7/8's mod by Fallout Mods. It is excellent. Last year I bought a couple. Tough to beat $19.99 for an authentic mech. They also had SMPL's and some others for the same price. All authentic, no clones. I called and verified with them last year.

    Mechanical Mods

They also have a copper Terra Mod by Paradigm. Paradigm made nice mechs. IMO you can't go wrong with any of the ones they have left.

They have several $3.99-12.99 hcigar clone mechs via vpdistro that @mcduffy posted earlier. Here: HCigar
The Caravela brass and SS mechs as well as the Chi You mods are a steal IMO. Stay away from the Turtle Ship clone, bad rep. I have an authentic v3 Turtle Ship mech which is excellent.

If you like the Turtle Ship mech VapeNW has the authentic RJ Mods v3 on sale for $41. RJ Mod Turtleship V3 Mod

I would. Mine have been dropped in the snow, mud, wet rainy grass and on concrete and gravel driveways. Dog has sent them flying across rooms with her constantly wagging tail. They just keep working.

    Vapemail:
Wetvapes - Pulse 80w and trinkets (to reach $30 FS)

FT 90' of txp 26 and 3 10-packs of pure-wrapped txp 26. Enough down in the mouse that I wasn't actively tracking it. Ordered 8/17, delivered today, is excellent turnaround. The XFKM pre-wrapped coils look nice, though I'll want to test one to verify resistance - given 3mm ID and the # of wraps the stated resistance doesn't make sense.

MIA is the FT dvarw mtl fl order, originally supposed to arrive yesterday. It apparently reached Syracuse today. Based on the last order that went to Syr, it may bounce back and forth for a week (Syr forwarded to the wrong PO twice), or if I'm lucky it'll arrive tomorrow [emoji3]

(Yes, USPS has truly become wonky the last couple months, after being dependable for years where I live.)

I got the Zenith Pro ordered, bought 2 to go with the coils I ordered :) I have been so busy lately all I use is drop in, I know I should build but the drop ins are so fast and easy LOL! I just looked at one of my storage drawers and everything is so new and shiny :) So happy I have been stocking up for years now, really can't think of anything I need, but may find something! You know just because this is it. The end of 510 connection is near :(

I read somewhere you can take apart the pod and replace the EUC coil in it

I’ve never tried it. I’ve got about 25 boxes of pods and a half dozen podsticks. I have no plans of rebuilding pods. For me it takes the convenience factor out of it.
