Posting this here because I know several here in this thread bought Pulse BF x squonk kits. I had the yellow plastic airflow ring on mine shatter to pieces today when I tried to take it off to rewick. It held together as a daily main vape for almost a year. The kit comes with 2 other airflow rings. One is for single coil setup only. No way it will fit with dual coils in the atty. The other however is working fine. Here is the thing. The atty DOES work with no ring in it at all. It is not as nice a vape as the airflow is not the same but it DOES work. Just something to file away for future reference.

As for buying new stuff. All my cash has been going in to rebuilding my pantry post COVID lockdowns and 2 hurricanes. What extra I have has been funneled into lace making supplies. New hobbies can be pricey at first. LOL

Simple truth is there is not much I need anymore. I can wait and see how the PMTA mess sorts out unless I find a heck of a deal on something somewhere.

It was so darn hard to pull my pulse RDA apart I took one of the o rings out after I used an old 510 heatsink as a grip so I wouldn't rip the threads out of a mod. I'm going to try silicone o rings but they are stuck in china. I do like the way the squonk feed works, but it's kind of big. I bought it on a whim at my local shop after they re-opened and before they close just to spread some wealth and use some reward points. :)

    Somewhere between here and there
I was just reading about it. Looks interesting. :thumb:

I'm also interested in the Freemax 100W, but mostly because of the pretty colors.

I'm the market for a single 21700 battery mod. Ehpro Cold Steel is also on the list. Any advice?

I reviewed the Maxus 100 with the Fireluke 3 tank. The flavor production on that tank was great. The mod works well. I also have the cold steel. I really like the hand feel of it. It’s a little heavy.

In case you decide you wan to pull the trigger on the Cold Steel 100, Soucemore seems to consistently have the best price on it at about $29+ (depends on color), with CVapor coming in at a close second. I bought all my cold steels from both of them.

Fasttech beats them both in total shipped price but only when they have a 10 or 15% coupon sale.

I can. Well the black one, I dunked in coffee (before coffee thermos) so I can't exactly blame it for its untimely death.

I got a silver one that didn't last at all, but I'm not sure what I did and I need to do some battery investigation.

I will say, its form factor is the best and the worst thing for me, I loved the feel in the hand and (while it seems more balanced with a larger battery, it basically is a tube mod and I basically tip those over.

I loved vaping them though and I have a feeling I MAY be able to get the saver up and running with some effort.

The older I get the more things I'm dropping. That's why I like rda's now and unregulated mods, if they are all metal (plus the flavor).:)

It was like sort of turning on but not really and I think the battery I had in there might just not be a good fit (spatially) and I need to find its adaptor and see if that makes it happy. We'll see. I'm not super stressed either way, I mean I liked it a lot but it's probably not ever gonna be the longevity vape for me. Tubes don't work. It's annoying but it's also fine.

@Katya - If you liked the original iStick Pico mod...they have 1 that takes a single 18650 or a 21700. I bought several on sale about 8-10 months ago. I haven't used 1 of them yet, but people who've gotten a couple from me have used theirs, and they love them.

I got the Sceptre, new pod mod (AIO?) from Innokin. Love it so far.
I've been looking at that one. In part because the PMTA for it has been filed as I understand it. SO maybe not investing in a dry well long term

    Innokin Sceptre Kit

Their coils are very inexpensive also. Free shipping over $75.

Sourcemore also had them for 12 bucks or so plus shipping.

I got one in my basket... I was frugal shopping today. LOL Is it super complicated or not that bad? With the inserts?
    Anna

You may prefer the MTL version--I got this one:

    $21.31 Dvarw MTL FL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2/3.5/5ml(22*19mm (OD*ID)) / w/ 10*air inserts / stainless steel + glass / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

It comes with extra tanks and 11 inserts that allow you to choose your preferred airflow from very tight to almost restricted DL.

If you get the DL FL $10.32 Dvarw DL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 6ml (24*21mm (OD*ID)) / 316 stainless steel + glass / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping recommended above, get a 2.5mm insert for a tighter draw. Unless you want a true DL.

$4.43 2PCS SXK Replacement Single Hole Airflow AFC Insert for Dvarw MTL FL 24mm RTA 2-pack - 1*2.5mm/1*3.0mm at FastTech - Free Shipping

It's a bit tricky to wick, but there's plenty of information here on how to do it. YouTube is helpful, too. @AngeNZ is the master Dvarw whisperer. ;)

Since there's so many more Dvarw users out there with the release of the FL version, we needed a place for help and advice.

I'm another new Dvarw convert, with 2 DL FL versions and 2 DL versions. And I can't decide which version I prefer the most

Using the info found in this thread and a couple of others, I put together a collection of the best ways to wick a Dvarw:
