Are you done stocking up?

If you get in a pinch, I'll put a few used 2.5's in the classies but would like to ship no later than Tuesday :) I may list them anyway in case someone is looking for a deal LOL

I have extra used ones if you get in a pinch, I can list them quickly if needed in classies.

It's cool! :thumb:

I think I've got to wait 2 to 3 weeks to cool off the credit card. By the middle to end of August, I'll be pretty much paid up and take another whack at stocking up...another $750+ in goodies. :w00t: At that time PoVari is going to hear from me. :D

I refuse to be denied my vape goodies! :pervy: to the ANTZ and FDA!

My bro owes me $350... I told him I'm calling in the marker in August. :)

Nope. I don't have it figured out. Hahahahaha... :D

Always looking for new information. I'll add that to the "notes."
I only know any of that because of the WONDERFUL people who have steered me in the right direction. :D
You'll love the ProVari's, they're a rock solid device. I've been happily using them since March of 2013.
Be thankful for the "Specials" pricing. ;)

BACKUPS for backups. :D :lol::lol::lol:

But that's what you need for one day of not smoking.

LOL - yeah, you're probably right. I'm going to pull the trigger on the Dripbox 160 (15% off with "DEALS" tomorrow). I'm going to hold on another topper for a bit, just to see what might crop up in the next 10 days....

True just not sure how taxed it will be and how many vendors will be around. It will be a watch and see. I agree about overseas, would buy domestic if I was stocking up last minute.

There is a huge difference between making thought out decisions about what to stock up on and how much verses panic buying where one buys stuff that they don't even know if they like and/or they grab stuff just because they are afraid they won't be able to buy stuff in the near future without giving it some thought first. Fear can often makes us make unwise decisions. ;)

I think future taxes and lack of vendors in the future are good reasons to do some stocking up now, but neither are a good reason IMHO to be doing any panic buying at this moment. Panic buying doesn't save one any money in the long run and won't keep one vaping if they don't like what they buy.

Some of us on this thread have been around the vaping world a long time. We know what we like, and have a pretty good idea what will keeps us vaping happy for a long time :) We are fearful of what the future holds but at the same time we do manage to smile and joke and know there is still a possibility that between congress and the courts things could get brighter for our future eventually. Its the newer people that pop into our thread every once in a while that IMHO we need to be careful that we don't send into panic buying.

I plan on ordering my favorite liquids until that is no longer an option. IF things go downhill, I have the nic in my freezer for when it is needed. Until then, I have no plans on mixing anything myself.

If anything, I am ordering MORE of my favorite liquid to store away.

I'm doing the same. I already have close to a liter of my fave premixed stuff, so it will be a while before I have to hit up the freezer.

Panic buying...NO. But if a black market arises, I'll have plenty to use for collateral.

I did not get any last minute sale notices today and I thought there would be some, anyone get any?

No big need for sales if people are buying without them :D Besides, there is no reason to move old stock to make room for new stock since there won't be any "new" products to sell. Just the same products as before 8/8/16. This reason makes me think going forward, unless a vendor is going out of business we may not see a whole lot of great sales. Small sales, yes, but not great ones without a going out of business sign.

The only time selling old stock to buy new stock makes any sense to me is if we are talking about nicotine and pg/vg. I'll be engaging in this with ppl who vape, and I'll get rid of old stock at a 10% to 20% discount. When the ban hammer falls on nicotine, I want the most fresh stock I can get.

Wait, wut? What $100 threshold? Stockpiling I've made multiple $300-$400 orders from heavens gifts slowtech, efun.top, etc, everything has just shown up. Is something supposed to happen to pkgs from China worth over $100...? How would anyone know, they all show up from random names and random address', i don't think I've ever received one pkg from "fasttech."

NO deliveries may be made by USPS after 8/8 b/c they do not ship tobacco products. We have to wait to see what happens.

Actually the $100 mark is what a lot of packages that are marked as 'gifts' do. It keeps the tax and customs peeps from supposedly looking too closely. I have had that if I have ordered from China on ebay. Just don't go over the $2000.00 mark or your package will likely be inspected as they would think you are a vendor and they want their tax money if the seller has not already paid it.
Fasttech has recently been marking their packages as 'electronic gadgets' unless you specify on the shipping page of the checkout that you want it discretely marked.
:)
eta...if for some reason the shipper did not disclose the correct content(cough) or pay the taxes then it will definitely fall to you.

Shipping Restrictions | USPS

Restricted Domestic Items
Cigarettes & Smokeless Tobacco
Most cigarettes and smokeless tobacco products may not be mailed domestically or internationally.

Definitions of Cigarettes & Smokeless Tobacco Products
471.1 Cigarette
Any roll of tobacco wrapped in paper or in any substance not containing tobacco, and any roll of tobacco wrapped in any substance containing tobacco, which because of its appearance, the type of tobacco used in the filler, or its packaging and labeling, is likely to be offered to, or purchased by, consumers as a cigarette. The term cigarette includes roll-your-own-tobacco and excludes cigars.

471.2 Smokeless Tobacco
Any finely cut, ground, powdered, or leaf tobacco that is intended to be placed in the oral or nasal cavity or otherwise consumed without being combusted.
--------------------------------------

I don't see e-cigarettes fitting the definition of "cigarette" nor do I see "e-cigarette" or "tobacco products" in any of that. Until the PACT Act is amended to include them, I don't see how USPS can refuse to ship them.
