Somewhere out there
I hope everyone is well and staying safe. I am being a hermit after some emergency dental work. Glad that's over! I haven't bought anything vaping lately. Just so glad I have everything on hand. Happy Thanksgiving week and stay safe :)

It's not the Chinese vendors who are deciding not to accept PayPal any more. PayPal itself has prohibited them from accepting payments via PP for vaping items. So far, there have only been a few websites that people have noticed being affected already. More are likely to be in the same position though, when PP enforces it with them, too.

Since Heaven Gifts sells only vaping related things...they had to totally remove PayPal as a payment option. FastTech, on the other hand...sells thousands of items that aren't vaping related at all. So they can still accept payments via PP for those items. They now show info on each vaping related item page...indicating that payment for that item cannot be made through PP. Customers can still buy Gift Certificates on FT using PayPal though. Then... use those GC to buy whatever they want on FT...vaping related or not. They offer quite a few options as to the $$ value of the GC. Any remaining balance after you place an order is just carried over and is still available for you to use later. I've placed 2 orders already that way with no problems.

Same. I bought a gift certificate and that’s how I paid for some coils and spare glass that I ordered from FT the other day. I just wish HG offered gift certificates! I’m surprised that they haven’t been quicker to come up with a solution given all the business they’re losing out on!

I have Avenger mods that take 20700s. They are my favorite mods as I appreciate the extra battery power. Are you saying it should fit 21700 also? If so, that’d be great!

No. I just didn't know there were mods that take 20700 but not 21700. Whether or not the 21700 fits or not, you'd have to just try it. A 21700 is roughly only 1mm thicker than a 20700, but that 1mm could be too thick for your mod if it wasn't designed for it. Then again, it could fit. lol

If it does take 21700s, then no worries about 20700 becoming hard to find due to low market demand.

It seems like there’s 1 mm of space for the 21700 to fit, so maybe I’ll try those if I ever can’t find the 20700. Thanks!

If you don't have any 21700 batts right now but you have a 21700 mod that came with an 18650-to-21700 adapter (most of them do), you can use that adapter to see if your Avenger will take a 21700. If that adapter fits (with ease) inside the battery compartment of your Avenger then chances are it'll take a 21700 batt.

@ChelsB also another consideration about 21700 over 20700. In some cases you can get significantly more runtime out of a 21700 over a 20700 without having to "downgrade" to a lower amperage battery.

As an example, Mooch tested the Molicel 20700A batt as 30A 3000mAh and the Molicel P42A 21700 batt as 30A 4000mAh. You should get longer runtime between charges. So if the Avenger does take a molicel P42A 21700 batt, it would be another reason to forget buying more 20700s lol

Just so you know, Mooch says they are slightly thicker than the Samsung 30T. I just measured one of my Molicel P452A batts and it's 21.33mm.

Thanks for the info and doing the measurement! My mod takes the 18650 adapter just fine (I don’t have any 21700 mods), so I’m inclined to think the 21700 would fit just fine as there seems to be some wiggle room

Well if the adapter is for a 21700 mod, and it fits in the Avenger with wiggle room, I bet it'll take just about any 21700, including the thicker P42A.

I'm always trying to fit things into other things they weren't designed for. Guessing can be expensive, that's why I have a $10 digital caliper similar to this

Do you have any recommendations for 21700 mods? I’m always looking for mods with extra battery power!

I'm making a shopping list for Black Friday.
I think I need to buy a BP Mods Pioneer RTA, hear a lot of positive things about it, could have been fun and compare it myself against Ether RTA and Ares2 RTA.
A 22mm Kayfun [lite] is also a tank I have wanted for a long time, must have a long mode kit for it.

Aspire Mixx Clear Frosted is available so it should be on the list.
Aspire Paradox Dark Knight is not out yet, as well as Dicodes Dani SBS is empty on the shelves here and there.

must have a few prebuild coils and spools, quite a few who use Coilology. Do not know if they are good or not.

If your focus is long lasting between charges and assuming you don't pull anywhere near 30 amps when you vape, and it fits in your Avenger mods, the Molicel P42A is a well-loved battery and probably a good fit for you.

Keep a watch on 18650batterystore.com's deal of the day section. They often have them on sale for under $5. (regular price is $6)

If you don't think the P42A is not going to fit your avenger mods, then the Samsung 40T is also another popular 4000mAh batt that mooch says is slightly thinner than the P42A, just realize that it's a 25A not a 30A batt.

I like the coilology 316 flat braided coils.

I just wish HG offered gift certificates!

They sell only vaping or vaping related products though, not a bunch of non-vaping things, too, like FT sells. So the only items a GC could be used for on HG...would be those products.

    I have a wismec rx2 20700 mod that definitely wouldn't accept 21700s.

I'm really liking the xkfm staggered staple, as it's the same as the geekvape, but SS316 instead of Ni80. Their juggernaut seems to be what geekvape and Vandy vape use, Vandy being the smaller gauge.
