Actually, smoking has been romanticized in pop-culture and movies since the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, 1960's until the 1970's. It always has been how you look vaping and where you vape. I've seen guys pull out rigs inside a personal case and vape clouds so big it fogged out a room. Or, you can vape something that is cigalike or a small pod system. I used to hold the juul in my mouth and vaped as I worked.

Go out someday and play man on the street. Ask people one question "Is vaping worse on health than cigarettes". A good portion will probably say at least the same and another portion will say worse due to the EVALI scare, which I believe was deliberate. Even though it later came out that it was all black market THC carts with Vit E Acetate, most people didn't see that, they only saw the front end, which was all about nicotine vaping.

Beyond that, smoke haters hate vapers becuase they see the cigarette problem all over again, so they demonize it without even looking into it. Their thought is, if it looks like smoking, it's all I need to know. Ban it.

I don't believe you can compare smoking to vaping in this context of social acceptability.
I mean, back when I first started vaping, I LITERALLY had smokers tell me vaping was going to kill me. SMOKERS, FS! It is for this reason, and becuase smokers literally smell, that I no longer vape around smokers. I find my own secluded place to vape in peace and vape in clean air.

I've come to a basic theory on vaping. It's better than smoking and if somebody wanted to quit smoking and get their taste, smell, breathing all back I recommend it. Two weeks of vaping compared to smoking is enough to see a difference. After that, it's on them to lower their nicotine levels, quit vaping, or vape when they have a nicotine craving.

But I don't know if can recommend vaping for somebody at 18 or 21. Somebody older who smoked for years, yes. It's life changing for them. I think there is a curve with vaping. Imagine being an old man vaping under a tree smelling mother nature reflecting on your life. I would work hard and pray for days like that.

I never got into Provaris. When I first joined the forum way back when I couldn't afford one. And at that time, the answer to every question, whether it was about mods or something else was: "Just get a Provari." It was a real turn off. At that time, I didn't even know if vaping would work, so somehow coming up with the money to buy a Provari just wasn't in the cards. I bought a Vamo instead, and it still works, though I doubt I'll ever use it again. If I'd have spent all that money on a Provari, I wouldn't be using it either since I vape at 30 watts most of the time.

Yes Vamo's were really popular too, I never got into Vamo's.

Yeah, it is all hypocrisy, marketing, and daily news rounds. If smokers only knew you get a cleaner way of getting nicotine. It's way more enjoyable and you can customise your nicotine levels from a nicotine buzz to body high to a leveling off to get a clear head. But nicotine is an addictive drug so it's always nicotine or no nicotine anyway.

Vapers are a new sub-culture who are very aware of health and wellness at the sametime being intelligent and creative artist types. A lot of smokers tend to be before vaping. Nicotine is a magically wonderful, and awful drug.

Very independent group too, I'd say most vapers don't care what others think about our vaping, we do it for us.

After we were talking about pods last week I charged up my Juul and loaded it up with a brand new but pretty old pod. Not much vapor came out and I was kinda bummed, put it away and didn't think about it much.

Tonight I decided to fiddle with it again though and remembered that you have to flick the bubbles out of the wick area to get it going. Much better, I'm going to put this back into my grab and go arsenal.

Looks like even they won't deliver me pods though.

I guess UPS stopped showing where a package is. All you know is "label created", "shipped", "on the way" and "delivery". No location information anymore. Clicking "view details" is just for package information.

I noticed that too, but have found some work-arounds.

17track still shows the full list, and some of the vendor (Amazon) based tracking also shows the full list.

I did a quick search of vape shops in my area online. Looks like 3 in nearest town. One looks like a headshop with mostly other stuff but has some vape items, I saw JUUL on the shelf in a pic. Another has mods and tanks, another does too. So in a pinch may be able to get something if needed. But supplies looked limited for vape.

Just a reminder to you guys and your stockpiles.

If you have atomizers that your not using or in storage, tear the old wicks out of them, and wash down the components. If you dont the juice becomes like cement in there. I know because I found some of my old ones, that old juice just gets caked in all places, including the air holes.

I went through that myself in 2019. Thank God for the sonic cleaner or I might never have got them clean!

Pulled the Zombie Provari and tried to find a Goth tank KFL+, thank goodness I have pieces parts for all things KFL. This is a shorter M tank with top fill attachment. Was fun to see what I had.

What I love about the KFL+ is it was so easy to modify it with different sized tank pieces, different size chimneys. Plus the top fill attachment. Sadly I don't think you can find them anymore on FT, but they used to have tons of that stuff.

I guess I wasn't done stocking up. I went to my usual shop and asked if he had any copper colored RDAs. To my surprise he had a copper Goon 1.5. Nice piece! I was quite pleased. Then I was driving into Williamsport and was looking for an alley for a shortcut, and there was another shop I never knew existed. I went in there and was very pleasantly surprised. The clerk knew what I was talking about and a guy sitting at the counter instantly recognized my Dreamer Mod. This shop had RDAs loose, so I picked up a Silver Hellbeast RDA. The clerk even pulled out a mech mod to show me. It didn't have a constant contact switch though. Then on the way out I noticed a shelf of wire. He had clapton wire, fused, three core, and four core on the shelf.

Then when I got home, I noticed an email from EVCigarettes. They're still open for internet sales and ship with the signature requirement.

So yesterday was a good day.

Last I heard they are shipping via X and people are having problems so look into it before you place an order. They may have switch back to USPS since. I didn't check.

According to latest emails from shops using X shipper they are working out the issues quickly and in the areas where they haven't been able to or X isn't servicing yet they are using USPS while available, so maybe it's not such a big concern any longer. I feel shops still selling online are being very proactive in getting products to customers.

I haven't coiled and wicked a KFL in so long I had to think about it LOL May have to trim my wick a bit more. I tried a new DIY flavor- WoW by FlavourArt. It is supposed to be jelly filled donut with sugar on top. Very tasty, very tasty
