What doctors should consider before prescribing e‐liquids for e‐cigarettes

Wasn’t sure where to put this

This is our doctors trying to make sense of prescription

Puff Topography (chain vaping vs bursts) and relationship to nicotine concentration

All with a 3 month time line to total abstinence

I read some of that but didn't finish it. The statements in there are crazy and can't believe they are going to regulate it like that. I hope you are well stocked up.

I've been cutting mine some too. I stocked for 12mg usage and am mixing at 3, 6, and 9mg depending on what device I'm going to use it in. I only use some WTA in my mint mix for my work pods.

All very odd. Haven't heard of anything like that elsewhere in the world.

Do you still have access to the loophole where you can order nicotine from outside the country?

    I'm just shocked.

I have a couple of Istick 30W mods that I bought in 2015 or maybe 2016. These were never opened and I opened one last night. It wouldn't turn on so I thought the battery was completely dead from sitting 5-6 years, which is what I expected.

    Nope.

As soon as I plugged it into a charger I was able to turn it on, albeit with no battery life enough to vape, but it took a charge. It took about 2-2.5 hours to fully charge and then I removed the charge cable and let it sit until this morning.

I've been chain vaping it today, all day. First at 20W DL for a half hour, then when I saw the battery indicator only moved one notch down, I switched to MTL vaping on an EVOD at 12W. I started at about 8am and the indicator is just now approaching halfway mark, but not quite.

It's amazing! It's obvious that this battery hasn't been damaged much, if at all, by sitting uncharged and unused for 5-6 years. At this rate I'm guessing I'll be going to bed right about when it shows it's half way depleted. But maybe not, I've been really hammering this thing and I'm getting vaped-out lol.

It's awesome they still make these, just too bad they cost more than they are worth IMHO. I always hesitate buying integrated battery mods that I believe are old stock, but from what I experienced now, I would take a chance on these if I found them on clearance for $15 or less and thought they might be old stock.

These are so tiny, a perfect replacement for eGo batteries. Much more efficient and pocket friendly.

I’m using 3 of those 30w sticks since they first came out.

BTW: I just got a fasttech package today. I chose the free epacket option instead of USPS Expedited. Package was in transit for 21 days. Always showed "Status Not available" and still does even though it was delivered.

Just like the Expedited option, it came though a broker/forwarder where the broker's label is put on top of the original label with customs declaration. I suspect the customs form is visible until after it is released from customs then it goes to the broker who slaps his label on it. Very fast for Epacket.

I only ever used 2. The first one I used for about a month then had my car towed and sold it to the tow truck guy with a nautilus mini and some juices. Second one, I think the USB port got damaged. It doesn't hold a charge. I thought it was the battery but one time I got it out and decided it was something else. I have yet to try to fix it. i did open it once. I still have it. It still "works", just not how it's supposed to lol

I have that other one I have yet to open. I'll do that soon. Hoping that it's not dead either.

BTW: My iStick 30w just now hit half-way on the battery indicator.

I also just switched to an Aspire Mini Vivi Nova clearomizer fitted with an Artery pal II Pro RBA on this Istick 30W. At 12W is rather warm with the 33AWG coil and rampup is a dream. lol Better than an Evod with SOCC coils, but I like both. The Evods are better for convenience. The RBAs are a bit of a pain to build and wick, but better than rebuilding a protank/evod coil.

A lot of people tend to think that Eleaf mods, especially the Istick and Istick Pico line are cheapo mods but that hasn't been my experience all in all. That one Istick 30W that's not working right, i think I used it for almost 2 years. That is a disappointment but I've had good luck with Picos. Most of my mod stash is at least 50% different picos, probably more.

ETA: I also have a 20W and it still works but the threads being brass and worn makes it unusable. But I just check it right now and it still has a charge on the battery. It's probably been sitting for 5 years! lol

I have 4 30w, 2 40w. I also have a 60w but that takes an external battery. Plus lots of other stuff.

I know someone on here said they bought a prepaid card to use at fast tech. So does that option really work? Just curious and all. I tried using one once upon a time and many places wouldn't accept a prepaid card. Anyone want to enlighten a "never ordered from China girl". Not to be confused with David Bowie. :)

I've seen complaints on FT forum that people are having trouble getting their cards accepted with FT's new credit card processing. All the same for me because I won't put a credit card on a Chinese website, and certainly not a credit card (edit, I meant debit card)

Personally, I think the best option is to either buy a gift card or, better yet, make a list of SKUI #s you want with the QTY you want of each and send your order via support ticket and ask FT to create and order in your account and send you a link to pay with paypal.

With the latter, you have a chance at getting recourse for your purchase if something goes south. But if you buy a Gift Card, Paypal only protects the actual purchase transaction of the gift card, not the purchases you make with the gift card you buy. When you buy gift cards, you are buying company currency.

OK, so as I kinda suspected, I'm on the last bar of the battery charge indicator already - last half "wears down" faster than the first half, just like my gas gauge in my car. But still, I've been chain vaping on this for about 15 hours but realistically 13-14 hours, taking into consideration breaks. I'd say that battery is still as good as new.

ETA: Well 20 minutes after this post, the battery finally drained. It's now locked and ready for a recharge. Now back to my bigger setups.

I don't use a prepaid CC, but a regular CC. I have more than one and I am not worried if something happens to one of them. And yes, it has happened in the past (not at FT). It never cost me anything, just the hassle of getting a new card in a day or two. And I have used CC all of the time for orders in the far east and 99% of the time there is no problems, including FT.

My CC was "hacked" 4 times end of 2020 beginning of 2022. All started after I made a CC purchase with 2Fdeal after they lost their PP account. I don't like the hassle and the idea that my card was hacked, even though I am not responsible for the charges.

I even had a checking account and credit card opened in my name end of 2020 with some regional bank (BB&T, a real bank), which I am still in the process of getting closed even though the bank tells me they were closed and I also filed a police report, which was obviously pointless. Soon after the accounts were closed, the bank was merged with a larger bank (Truist) and now I am getting statements for these accounts with the new bank name. Yet, they tell me both accounts are close when I call them. Then why TF am I getting statements a year later, even with the new bank name?

PITA. I try to lessen this BS as much as I can. No overseas purchases on cards of any kind for me. In my 13 years with PP, never a problem (though I have heard bad things from many others). For me, it's PP or see ya later, China. Thankfully I have very little need for China today as far as vape goes.

Wow! I had problems with paypal back in 2015 I believe. My fault I guess that I had two orders (first package I saw it was fake and I thought shame on me and I kept that one since I opened it) and the second shipment (with three more tanks) I put return to sender on the package (unopened) and sent it back and lost everything. I learned and pay for shipping and get a tracking number for now on. I had no more problems using PP per se, but I always used the CC support if there is a problem. And they always rule in my favor (using multiple CC).

There was even a website from China that was selling Hana Modz stuff after Hana was out of business. Prices sounded to good to be true. Everybody I knew was afraid to order from them. I didn't really need anything, but I was curious. So I ordered and nothing arrived. CC support had just taken it off and the end of story. And I told all my friends don't bother ordering from them.
