    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Been doing a lot of searching for old gear the past couple of days. Came across so many sites for B&M stores where they have a notice that online sales are disabled due to PACT Act and the sites are now just catalogs with add to cart buttons removed.

Yeah... Joyetech was one of the Very Early OEM's who supplied to the US Mass Market.

I might be wrong? But I believe that Joyetech was the one who came out with what we call the 510 (M7x0.5mm) Connector. The Name coming from the Joye510. Which just got Slanged to "510 Thread" for anything that would fit on it.

Joyetech went thru a period in the Mid-2000's where their QC was suspect. As a result, their Name was branded as be Low or Questionable Quality. That was a time when Companies were doing a Lot of Ownership shuffles. And Umbrellas of Parent/Daughters companies was coalescing.

BTW - One of my All-Time Favorite Mods is the eVic Primo SE. And there is one with a Cut-Down SXK Wine RTA on it sitting on my Nightstand.
I am still using a pair of Joyetech Penguines on a daily basis as m driving mods.

That is what started my journey as well. I posted in the new members forum after lurking for a week, and that is the kit that was recommended to me. I continued to use those 510 atties even when I moved on to box mods. Then they just pretty much disappeared. I have yet to find something that gives me the perfect throat hit that those did. Also the perfect liquid that became unavailable after a few years: the ECOpure line.

I have all that old gear stored away in an archive box, along with the straws and filters I purchased back then, lol.

Ah yes, the good 'ol days ... I too still have all the batts, carts, foam, straws, etc. etc. stored away in a shoe box.

    Somewhere between here and there
I think I still have a single battery charger or two laying around for the 510 batteries but think I got rid of the batteries since they all died. I know I have the case that looks like a cigarette case for carrying them. I never had a multiple battery charger like the one in the picture but it sure would have come in handy. I always had one or two charging.

I did find four janty boxes and a puresmoker protege that I still have but don't have batteries to fit them any more so don't know it they work. I think the protege had a 901 fitting on it so had to use an adapter.

I came late to the party. Didn't even know that vaping existed in 2009. I was just caught up with RYO.
In 2010 I found BLU, but damn it was expensive, I didn't even know that you could buy a bottle of juice to refill those carts. I'd vape them dry and then toss the whole thing in the bin. Smoked too ..........
Then I found a little vape shop, ENS was right down the street from me. I could go there every morning and buy juice if I wanted. I even bought a Mako. I still have that lil bugger, and it's still a great vape. (for as long as a 14500 battery lasts)

Been all over the place, quit my job, got a new job (start Tuesday), been really busy with the sneaker community.

Catch me up, what did I miss? I saw CASAA post that the vape tax got removed... again.

Also, is there a battery shortage? I was able to nail down 8 batteries to get off Mooch's list from 18650 but it wasn't easy and they weren't my first choices. I was only going to order 4 but decided on 8 with how limited they seemed.

Just got (last week) 8 molicel's from 18650 Battery Store, no muss no fuss. Yes, some are in short(er) supply due to shipping issues.
