Lost art! My right thumb has arthritis, so I can't use it too much. I satisfied my itch for lace by buying some old ones starching and framing. All I can do now is net grocery bags, and not much of that. Would love to see some pictures of your designs.
I can still work with thread but yarn is easier for me now. and to keep this vape related. Back when I still smoked I hated how quickly my work would yellow from the tar. Now that I vape my pieces don't have to be washed and starched near as often.

I was thinking about things I bought I would have never got if it wasn't for D-Date. I splurged on several things like drip tips and titanium items. Plus all theses tanks! I was more frugal in my vape toys before this. Anyone get things they never would have before ?
Before the deeming I had only ever shopped B&M. I had never heard of Provape or Molehill Mountain. I found some great deals on cheaper things (subox, toptanks, picos, nemmies) but I did splurge on the Radius and a MHM. Radius got here Saturday and I absolutely love it and will cry when it finally bites the dust (but I gather that should not be for quite some time). Now I only hope that I can afford a second one for the stash before it is too late. Many thanks to all of you for the info (and the entertainment!)

Fortunately with me there is neither envy nor desire :D I'm not fond of the shape so stick to the box shape. I may regret the decision not to buy one someday but for now I am good. I know ProVape now offers a box shape but I just can't justify the price.

Several years ago a friend sent me their Provari to try out for a couple weeks. It was fine, just didn't like it enough to invest my vape $ into at that point. Although I've never regretted that decision and still don't I'm glad so many people have supported a US company and continue to be happy with their Provari's. :)

OH, my! Beautiful! I still have some peaches and cream natural, haven't even thought of using it for wicking. Maybe a dishrag?

When I feel like it, I'll give you a tour of my collection by Google Hangout. Have something else I should be doing right now.

I bought 2 of them in 2012 and liked them but then got swayed back into mechs and have pretty much stayed there. Then deeming hit, and then I saw how cheaply they could be picked up compared to 2012 so I added a few more to the stash and now keep one on the desk to use in rotation with my mechs. But had they not been so reasonably priced I wouldn't have picked up anymore. :)

Gorgeous!!!! So glad you shared that!!
I too hated all my projects stinking!! I'm so thankful to have found vaping for SO VERY MANY reasons!!!

I can't speak for the ProVape Radius, I use their tube mods, but as a company overall, their quality, and customer service is above and beyond!!
Same goes for MHM. Doug is behind the scenes, I only have had contact with Kayte, but I can tell you she is one of the kindest people your path will ever cross. :) Their quality is just amazing.
I don't have a massive collection, but I most definitely cherish the ones I have.

We all like and choose different things, I say whatever keeps us off the stinkies is the one to have. :)

Thank you :) Way back when folks started talking about using cotton yarn for wicking I had to go digging in my stash of yarns and threads to get some. :D Didn't work out well for me but at least I didn't have to buy something that wouldn't get used for something else to find that out.

I asked Bottle Outlet since there was some discussion about coatings. Here's their reply:

Well, it's all true and well deserved!! That is a very special talent!! :)
I don't even do those because it's so tiny, but certainly respect those who can!!

It's completely true. There are many things I have no desire to try (sub ohm), and I'm probably missing the boat with many things, but I'm a tootle puffer, and I'm good with the set ups I've found and use.
I'm just so thankful for all the different devices so that we all have been able to find what sticks to keep us smoke free. :)

I wish I had started last year, but didn't get up to speed until May.

It was when Quebec banned online sales that I really got started.

Rebuildables. I never have and still don't have any desire to build coils. I feel forced into it by the regulations, and I highly resent it.

I am with you on this.

OMG  Can't even imagine how many drip tips and provari's and tanks you'd have by now if you'd started stocking up last year  :lol::lol:

Oh my Gosh gorgeous !!!! I love to thread crochet but getting harder for me too and 2 yrs ago I had a bad spell with hip bursitis and the only thing that kept me sane was crochet and vaping, I could not walk for 8 wks. I made so much stuff! I spin yarn too and figured out a way to do it sitting :)
