Thanks for that info guys. So the 168W isn't even in distribution in the States yet? On the Cheap Deals site it says "preorder". I wonder if the 510 adapter would fit on the other Maxus products like the 100W? Which would be fine with me as I'm kinda in a hurry and tired of buying 17 buck disposables every other day since I started vaping again last week, lol.

The Maxus solo and 100 have 510 connections.

Thank you for that. I've been out of vaping for a couple years and now everything is new to me again. Trying to now figure out the difference, if any, between a solo and fireluke tank and what the heck a FL platform is exactly, lol. That and trying to figure out which "great deal" doesn't ship from China.

Yep, and backups for those! NOT going to let myself get in a spot where a pack of smokes is the only alternative :)
Agreed. As vaper's we must have our backups and backups to backup the backups.

This is my vape bag and some of the gear I travel with. 4 mechs (2 tubes + 2 squonkers) and two regulated. Those get changed up as needed. In the bag is a rebuilding kit (tools, various wire, cotton, rayon), a couple more RTA's, a 2 bay charger, batteries and extra juices. :D

Well I thought I had everything. The only things really that I don't have that have ever peaked my interest are something with a yihi chip and a large scale sort of lipo mod. And though I usually cap out my wattage at about 35 watts somehow I've got it into my head that perhaps I should purchase a lipo mod with the DNA 250C 400 watt cap.

A little disappointed to learn that a lot of these companies that make these things seem to solder the battery in and I hate that idea with a passion. I'm not even a big fan of that in a $40 mod let alone a $230 mod without even including shipping and everything else.

I'm also cheap usually taking the quantity over quality approach to vaping but I am looking at a Steve (steam)crave hadron pro which for being mass produced I think it's interesting that they chose not to solder their battery connection in....

Unfortunately it is ugly as sin. It is hard to navigate all of the lipo creators out there

wait...I’m confused now. Was under the impression USPS wouldn’t deliver ANY vape gear, regardless of origin??

You're right but Chinese retailers (the popular ones anyhow) don't declare packages as vape gear. They use "filters", "metal tubes" and other things, nor do they use their website name in the return address. USPS has no idea what's inside the package. Sounds like black market? Well, it is IMHO.

IMHO ordering from China is your best bet since the USPS mail ban went into effect Oct 2021
Yeah I definitely agree with this nowadays when I'm looking up a product I actually get excited when the places I see at are Chinese. I get a lot less anxious 3 weeks later after I purchase something when it still hasn't arrived when I know it's coming from a whole other country then I do when it's coming from a state above me

I imagine UPS has no qualms about doing so.

The national carriers like UPS, Fedex and DHL have voluntarily prohibited vape shipments via company policy. US online vape shops (who are operating within the law) use small regional carriers who can often take just as long or longer to deliver your package as it would take from China (reported experiences vary greatly).

Good to know that some smaller retailers still sell online at all, even if it's slow. My favorite place used to have tons of devices for sale online but the vape shop section of their site (linked) says "in-store only" now. I'd thought that this was just the law throughout the US...will have to check out other options either way I guess.

I made my second Liion Wholesale run after work today. Picked up more P26As and a half dozen P28As after reading Mooch's latest test. Also wraps, insulators, and more chargers for my stash.
I'd rather have them on hand for when I need them than having to hunt one down in a crisis.

I think I've gotten a bit paranoid about being able to source good cells (and everything else it would seem!) in case the vape shops fade away and all the cell manufacturers quit making them available at the retail level.

Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about picking things up for a while, barring unforeseen loss of what I have now.

    (maybe just one more thing...)

One last stock up order for my wife and her good friend's stealthy work vapes - Justfog Minifits. I found a US vendor that had 10 left on clearance, so even with $15.99 shipping they were less than $7 each. This might be the first order I actually have to sign for, and in a strange way I want to sign for it, getting my money's worth on shipping lol.

Was the vendor in Irvine, CA, and has been in business since 2013? I'd seen last week that they had a large "select"ion of items in their clearance section. ;)

Yep, they now ship to my state and I've been pining to make some kind of vape buy - it's been a while!

I am looking for the UB pro RBA and I was too impatient to wait for my main place to get it back in stock because by the time they got it back in stock they could be out of my favorite juice and I wanted to put in like a 20 bottle order and I knew I would talk myself out of that if I let it go too long lol.

Anyhow on a different topic while I was looking for that I went on a site that sort of rhymes with irate ape and they're getting creative over there. They seem to believe that there's certain items that are not vape related that they can ship through the USPS with their definition of not vapor related being pretty damn broad but whatever. And then they also are allowing people to submit their businesses so that irate ape can help them to apply as a business to business account thus making it legal to ship. Interesting there is a reason why I'm not saying the name of the place directly because you know this stuff might not be the best thing to broadcast but I'm interested in seeing how that goes for them

That’s really interesting. Thanks for sharing. I guess they’ll do it until they get caught.
