You just reminded me I have to go to my local HF store and buy a half inch drill.
I'm installing security cameras and the only good masonry bit I have left
doesn't fit in any of my 3/8 drills.

These work really well for coil work:

I only use the base 1.9x, along with the light. The flip down 1.9x gets you to 3.8x power, still stereo vision, with light. The last magnifier option is monocular.

I picked them up in May, use them for smaller id coils or when working on cramped decks.

I use a cheap pair, like the Harbor Freight ones. They probably came from there. I bought them for jewelry work years back. I hope to get a better pair soon. They do fit fine when I am wearing my glasses. (they come out plenty far enough)

I got the eFest after reading many positive reviews, in my own experience it's hit and miss at best and I've switched it out for an Xtar most of the time (and a few PILA's which just keep on going and going and going and have quite honestly been the best chargers I've ever owned).

For me the eFest:

- Randomly vanishes from bluetooth on my phone. nice app, when it;s working.
- Randomly doesn't charge a given battery.
- Randomly switches out of language English into what seems to be some Chinese dialect. Looks very cyberpunk on the display but tells me nothing.

This is my 3rd replacement, at which point I wrote it off and gave up on it and went with the Xtar VC4.

Every charger I've had has been hit or miss despite all the glowing reviews leading up to my purchase. As far as the app, it's been working fine on my Note 5; couldn't get it to install for a while on my i6S+. Just when I was ready to give up, it installed but the "scan" to find the charger didn't work because the app won't work on 2 phones at the same time. Also after some Google'g I found the app was broken after one of Apples' updates so I don't know if that has anything to do with it not being able to connect to both phones at the same time or if it was designed to only connect to one phone at a time.

Now, the batteries. I put in 6 brand new Samsung 30Qs' to get them fully charged & the charger got super hot. Because of this, the other 6 new ones that needed to be charged went on my Nitecore charger.
