Is anyone else having a problem with keeping some of their new back-up supplies as, well, actual back up supplies? Are you test driving your new stuff and then putting it away, or...?
I use all of my mods. I rotate them around but I do have my favorites. I have about 30 mods.

I have about a dozen drippers and I rarely use those. They are true backup supplies.

Somewhere out there
I like to have 3 tanks filled at all times- one for fruity flavors, one for coffee or dessert flavors, and one at my bedside with 0 nic- but after testing one of my new back up tanks, I really like it so I'm going to swap it out for one of my older ones, with the old one going into back-up storage.

Man, I need to be in the furnace repair biz. I just paid 100.00 for a 3 minute check on whether I had an oil leak or not. Fortunately, no leak. At those rates, I hate to think what it would have cost.

I best cool it on the purchases for awhile.

WOW!!! That is a lot of Provari's! I feel like a slacker with 11 LOL!
If you're a slacker with 11 what does that make me with 4? And here I sweated bricks debating whether I should buy the fourth one thinking that was REALLY excessive

I have one tank and one rebuildable. Makes spare parts easy. If you change up your setup you need to get the relevant spare parts and thread repair tools for it or it is not really a backup.

I think the quantities we each choose to stock does depend on how our setups are treated. Mine get dropped most every day, regularly on concrete or hard floors, so having a few more of some things is important. Four ProVari's could easily last anywhere from 15-20 years if they aren't subjected to much hard use.

I just realized that even with my hard use I haven't killed one so far, so I may have gotten carried away myself! Oh yeah, I may be able to convert my wife to use them too, so there's the rationalization I needed. Whew!

    Is that the big base?
Best $8 I spent! To me it's big, but it does NOT easily fall over on the end table or kitchen counter. I wouldn't use it going out, but for home use wonderful

That's what I'm doing - testing my mods for about 1.5-2 weeks and packing away. Glad I did because I discovered that one of my provaris is slightly sick and had to go to the hospital for some testing.

Buy one, it really does keeps it from rolling around.
I almost got one of those but decided to just use bands since it was cheaper. I also have a mod stand that holds 8. Good thing there is something for everyone, huh? Would love to see a pic of yours.

Lol @440BB! Good rationale. Me I'm really easy on my devices but I figured on an easy 5 years per and planned for 10 years, plus two spares. i think some of them will outlive me!

If you can tell me how to upload a pic to size, I would love to. I can not figure out how to size and upload!

Isnt Fasttech still in China? :?:

Yes it's just that everyone that has an order "shipped" right now has a package sitting on a dock in China or something, not sure what's up. Had a good laugh at your story as well, hope your Mom is ok.

Whoever linked me to those STM clones on ebay thanks so much. These things really are just as good as if not better than Authentics. I'd have to say threading wise they're much nicer.
