Are you done stocking up?

Just ordered from Nude Nicotine:
2 - Nicotine Test Kits
2 - Liters PG
4 - Liters VG

A lot of my store bought stuff is old, and I've been through "the box" scrounging around for something to vape. Ughhh... I'll be starting DIY full time before my one year anniversary which is September. Onward and upward! :thumb:

My vape mail is waiting for me at my folks house: new scale, a dozens flavors, the above order is going there too. It's been four weeks since I was out there and I forgot what I ordered.

Perhaps you could explain the situation better and make sure that I'm understanding this all correctly. Because I didn't know who Dimitrios or the VTA was before that video.

Whe I watched the video it appeared that he is the leader of one of the larger advocacy groups, and employed by a closed system manufacturer. Neither of those things concerned me. Now what DID concern me was the fact that he made it seem like he and his group were the one's that had the ear of congress when it comes to the language that is being put in. It also concerned me that he was telling everyone the language couldn't be changed while talking about changing it. He also told a room full of people that no matter what they did open systems were dead and Cole-Bishop would change nothing.

IF a leading advocacy group who has the ear of congress stands to gain from legislation being tanked that would benefit everyone, I would think that would be concerning to us all. A predicate date change means very little to closed systems as everyone here tells it.

Maybe I'm confused. Like I said I don't know much about the guy or the group. Some history would be nice. Knowing a larger group was working for open systems and had more pull would be nice.

Dimitrios is pretty popular and has been a guest on Pbusardo's show. He gets around. That video that I linked too was supposed to be primarily store employees and owners. That is why the response was so violent.

Lets face it, if you take the FDA Deeming Regs and closed systems, you only need gas stations, convenience stores and a website to sell them. Vape shops have been cut out and are not allowed to assemble or make anything. The list of goods nationwide may be reduced to 50 flavors and 20 closed systems that all do the same thing and differ only in the e-liquid they contain.

I don't follow all of the major players (Dimitrios) to see what they are up to. I'm very busy seeing what new gear is coming out on ECF and YouTube, and modifying my purchasing lists.

I'm proud of my preparedness. I think we should have some secret sign to put in our signatures that means "prepped and ready".

Just checked several preppers website and they said "P!" equals Prepper if using text and the following images held the same meaning.

Sometimes when i read stuff like this, I think back to people who quit smoking with vaping........and had about that, in 2009, 2010, 2011......or less than that, at their disposal.

Hail to the early adopters..........REALLY.

Not suggesting that going back in time is something i'm in favor of. Just saying that I've been around the earth for a while now, and I've noticed people, when they set their minds to accomplishing something, succeed despite all circumstances.

i really DO want to give kudos to the early adopters.......

I just experienced my first real panic attack......(exaggerating but still! )

Mom in the hospital. Had just finished feeding her breakfast. Sat down to sneak-a-vape ;) when I drop my mod (Kanger Subox). Battery door popped off & battery disappears.
I'm on the floor spread out like an Olympic swimmer determined to find it. Had it been an old battery I might not have tripped so badly but this.....this was one of my brand new Sammy Q's & I couldn't leave it to hosp staff to find it for me!!!

Bet some of ya'll think I was sacred I wouldn't be able to vape at all. Nahhhh.....had 2 other mods with me.

Finally found my battery hidden behind the power cord to the bed.
Now, next problem....trying to get my fat @$$ off that hard @$$ floor!!! :-x
Odd, about this time I had a different yet similar experience. (Laughed my .... off at your story, but trust me, it was in empathy.)

Changed my battery out and went to put the Tatroe cap back on when it slipped out of my hand, bounced off my foot (yes, I still have the mark), hit the wall behind my desk were it took a sharp left turn back behind the computer tower and buried itself under the dust (dog hair) bunnies. Couldn't find it and had to crawl under the desk with a flashlight. Dog (100 lbs.) got curious and dove in with me to see what was up. Finally found it and convinced the dog to back out but by then I really needed a vape. Husband was useless, rolling on the floor laughing his .... off. :grr:
Test driving!.... Just got the tatroe base for provari. It does the job, but it's heavy.
You'll like it, I hope. I thought they were kind of stupid but bought one that I found for about $3.50. I love them. Used to lose my mod all the time, now it's easier to find it because it's standing upright. Turns a hefty ProVari into a very formidable weapon. :D Rarely rolls of a surface and breaks the DT anymore. :D Sucks in your pocket but if wasn't so lazy replacing it with the regular end cap would avoid those bruises.

Seriously, this post is from about 75 pages ago? One heck of a thread!

I placed an order 16 days ago with NN still have yet to see it. Just sayin.

Ahhh.. well, I should have thought ahead. Thank you!!!

I'll be leaving Chicago Saturday and will not be returning until the packages arrive. Hopefully they will make it there soon or I'll be taking the train in to Downtown Chicago for work more than I care too. It's very expensive.

Reading up on improvising vape flavors...I have 3 diff pipe tobaccos soaking in PG
and will be digging up a piece of ginger root tomorrow.
I have years worth of sucralose and a bottle of Agave light syrup. have years of ethyl vanillin but don't like it.
Vanilla bean flavors can be extracted to PG/VG.

And so forth..I know you get the drift.

I guess my freezer and vape stockpile won't make it thru PMTA either. ;)

Hope for the best, plan for the worst. If everything goes back to normal tomorrow, I have a few too many mechs and Provaris, tanks and tank accessories (glass, insulators, bases, etc.) and a few hundred $$$ in frozen NIC that I will actually use. Luckily I don't have to bother with close system stuff based on my inventory.

My wife and I were spending $7k/yr smoking, so I really don't see me "losing" regardless of what happens. I spent a small fortune on my stockpile, but not $7k. :)

Same here.

Which sucks.

30ml store bought juices can still be bought for about $10US in many stores in Canada, so it isn't terribly expensive to vape here currently.

But with coming taxation and almost all manufacturers focusing on subohm tanks and high wattage mods, $10/pack per day will look fairly reasonable when compared to vaping 10-15ml of substantially taxed eLiquid a day at 30-50w using $4 subohm coils.

Without DIY, juice and premade coils will make vaping prohibitively expensive for most moving forward IMO.

I don't know where you are buying your juice but I don't spend that. I buy in bulk when they have the sales.

So you don't get taxed now on e juice in Canada? And it's all zero nic stuff right?

You pay provincial and federal tax on purchases. 10-15% depending on where you live. You can get nic juice everywhere, it's importing it that is the problem. 100mg nic is available but nowhere near the price in the US.

I did see one place that imports 0nic juice from the US and add nic here.

ROFL ... All of my vape stuff is old. Even the Provaris & mechanicals I just bought are old, the cartos I just bought are old! I stocked up in 2011 when the end of vaping was looming over our heads. All I've done is just add more of the same stuff to the pile. AND, trust me on this, I enjoy my vape just as much as the next guy ... just haven't been chasing the latest & greatest for the last six years. (and can pretty much vape for free for the rest of my life)

At my age, I figure a 50 year supply is probably enough.

I posted this elsewhere but I know you guys would be interested
Here is the FDA's legal response to the Nicopure lawsuit (against the FDA) read the first 3 pages for sure
    http://www.clivebates.com/documents/FDAresponse.pdf

OMG! I didn't get past this sentence on the first page before I felt my blood pressure start ticking up:

"The Court need not sift through this evidence, however, because Congress entrusted the decision whether to supervise tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, to the expert judgment of the FDA."

Are they seriously telling the Judge not to bother with the scientific evidence because they know best??

Ordered a few things from FT Sunday (Nautilus bases and spare seals for those cheap hollowed out cages I got), spare glass for some RTAs, some silicone sleeves and some pre-coiled kanthal wires.

Just re-wired my griffin with dual 8 wrap 26ga twisted SS316L @ 0.2ohm and it seems that kanthal was unnecessary. I get such a great flavor with SS vs Kanthal and now I can do TC. All my RTA's in rotation will be getting similar treatment as the wicks/wires come due for replacement.

Shopping cart highlights to order before the end of the year:
    - noisy crickets and upgrade kits for the stash
    - more spare glass for other tanks
    - KFL+ V2 for when the nauti parts are all gone
    - Couple spare Griffins as it is my fave 22mm RTA tank so far
    - Herakles 25mm x 2 for some more big tanks
    - Kanger Mini RBA's for the pile
    - Some Reaulex RX2/3 (at least 2, probably 4 - 6 eventually)
    - Possibly a few more SMY SDNA75 if I can find them somewhere other than ecig.com for similar price)
    - Don't need it but another L of Nic since it is on sale
    - Couple Limitless Plus RDTA
    - Some more pre-built coils for Nautilus and Cubis Pro
    - Wire and Flavors

Same here but I made it to about page 7 before I had to stop. So glad I have enough stuff for my lifetime. Sadly, I don't see this changing any time soon. I hope I am wrong but not feeling very hopeful today.

That load of crap from the FDA was over the top, even for them. They have reached a new low. Did anyone catch their statement that 2nd hand vapor gives nic to passersby and is addictive through 2nd hand vapor. Really?
