I am done with stockpiling. I already spent $150 (may be even $192, do not remember) on things I do not need right now, not counting nicotine, of course. I am free from a need to buy for 2 years at least. Of course, if something groundbreaking will appear, I may be tempted, but it should be really groundbreaking. Something like a perpetuum battery or a mod with positron brains.

Remember yesterday we were speculating what's going on with Provape and why they are selling so many devices at rock bottom prices. I emailed someone at Provape I've talked with a few times and asked him. Here is what he responded (and gave me permission to reprint):

"…We have discontinued both the ProVari 2.5 and the 2015 Classic, so we are simply lowering the price to clear out the stock of products we are no longer making. Of course because of the FDA regs, we cannot release any new products but it does help simplify our inventory management to clear out the older products.

Truthfully, the FDA regs are quite scary and we are going to do everything in our power to work through them. Short term, nothing has changed with the exception of us not actively developing any new products. We will have a couple of years to continue as we are now without worry. We are closely watching this and I personally believe that the regulations will soften a bit before August 2018. But even if they do not, rest assured we will do everything in our power to stay around and luckily we have the time

I know it's going to take awhile for everyone to fully understand the impact. We are still digesting all of the information and discussing with various groups like CASAA and SFATA and of course working on a plan for the future … I've heard of several shops closing and several more that were planning to open drop those plans. I'm stocking up too, just in case!"
