I got some clone RBAs, that had a tighter fit on the authentic chimney.
I was able to force them on to work tho.
All authentic STM parts should be interchangeable.
Another problem with the clone RBAs is the screws rusted.

That must be what happened to me. That's crazy!! I'll have to check to see if any of my tanks will work with that rba! I was so excited about this clone because it was cheap, about $15, and other than the chimney not being narrow enough to accommodate the hole in the rba, was indistinguishable from the real thing.

Thanks!!

Been using clone RBA's for about 4 months now and no rusting or problems. Different SKU I assume.
Some of the clone bases do not work right the center pin is a bit too short.
Everything else I got worked fine.

These RBA's work fine SKU3822800
And these bases are fine as well SKU2994800
and these poly bellcaps work fine as well SKU4139704

How much wick do you have in there? If you completely covered the coil (with a lot of wick), that may be what's causing the problem. The chimney has to have a little room to go down in there.

Thanks Rick.

That's a good idea, but I am sure the wick isn't the problem. When I remove the RBA cap, I can see that there isn't cotton or anything else obstructing the chimney. It looks just like the one in the Rip Trippers Youtube video on STM builds I watched. When I looked at the hole in the RBA and compared it with the OCC replacement coil, it's very easy to tell that the hole in the OCC coil is bigger than the hole in the RBA. I think this has to be the clone tank's RBA, and the hole is just too small.

:)

Be happy to do that. I'll put em in the recipe section of the diy. It'll probably be awhile getting them there, but I'll give you a holler from there when I'm done.

Thanks! I did get them all and save them locally! :thumb:

Good, those ought to keep you busy for a bit. :)

I have several folders and documents where I am keeping everything for Vapeageddon. Every little bit helps.

I have depended upon those before me to lead... and I am with the right bunch here on ECF! I really appreciate it.

Welp, just re-bottled and packed away my last ltr of nic.
At my current rate of 7mg/10ml per day, that will take me to 88yrs old.
If I drop to 6mg, it should take me to 6ft under.
The better half just rolled her eyes....:thumb:
Same here got enough NIc to last me till about 90 and enough tanks, spare parts , wire, etc too.
Just need a bit of flavoring, PG/VG and batteries every few years.

In a way, absolutely. I have saved recipes from HIC and others all over the Internet that would take me years to make, if I ever became good enough to even figure them out on my own. I highly doubt that I will become that good, but a push in the right direction helps tremendously.

I hope you have them stored on another/external drive and in the cloud as well. I keep all my most important files in my dropbox folder and sync that with an external NAS drive as well.

My One Stop order came in yesterday. Lotta Latte is the bomb. I made an 8 ml test batch yesterday afternoon and have just about vaped my way through it. Really tasty and I see a lot of potential mixing with it I want to try. Peppermint is one for sure. I also got bread pudding, butterscotch pudding, french toast, baked cinnamon roll and banana bread. I think some of these might have potential to blend with the Latte also. I also got the wine saver spray(argon) in yesterday and plan on opening up the nic I've got stored and adding a spritz or two to the bottles and sealing them back up.

My new Dragons from ProVape should arrive today along with a few bottles of Nicoticket juice I ordered. I decided to place a last few orders of juices I have known and loved before the states start interfering.

P.S. The Dragon rookery is down to 7 if anyone is sitting on the fence about getting one. :D

How sweet are the onestop flavors? I don't do well with sweet.

Yes, I agree 100%. I need to back this system up. Maybe I'll do that today.

I plan to buy a UPS backup drive at some point. My computer is a brand new Alienware Area 51 all SSD. I typically back up everything on redundant flash drives then hide them in my house. One here, one there... I have theft coverage for $10k but if I never get anything back, I can pop in a flash drive and be up in a few hours after delivery of all the new equipment.

If I have anything to store, I usually do it in the Google Drive area. I use 2FA for everything, so it's abt as safe as it is going to get.

I got my order in from onestop today also. The flavors and blends they have mixed up are not sweet per say tho I have not tried any of the coffee flavors. The baked cinn role is true to taste as is the blue raz and the Arnold Palmer lemon tea. Their sweet tea is a little sweet but not over done imo. You can really taste the 'tea' in it. I believe that most of their speciality blends and flavors are mixed with 67% vg(its on their site) so if anything no sweet is ever added because it is not needed.
    Just offering my 2 pennies.
