I've stocked up mainly on gunmetal, satin silver and black 2.5's, but a few colors have snuck in on specials. I think of them more for home use or as future surprises for my wife's home setups. Emerald green, bronze, gold, black/red and white/black were irresistible at bargain prices.

I may have overdone it a bit as they hold up so well, but there won't be a second chance for my favorite device down the road.

I wonder how many of us became educated in coil building and DIY, let alone o-ring sizes, in the last four months?:)

O-ring size i'm not good at , now coil building and Diy e-liquid been doing probably 4 years or so.
First started coil building with genesis tanks on vv old homemade box mods still have them along with newer devices and 10 or so 8x11 ss 500 mesh sheets for safe keeping bought in co-op but use clr coils nowadays and have well over several hundred of them for the Mrs and i.

Lifetime stocked with everything needed so no one can tell me how and what to vape ; )

It popped up once as a "blem" in April and I'd been hunting for months myself. I'm guessing it was a dealer return seeing as it showed up so late. I'll let you know if I see one turn up!

I certainly did. I had no idea about any of it 4 months ago. Now i Diy, coil build and just completely stripped down 5 Kayfun v5 clones and changed every o ring. Feels good to be self sufficient. Without this great forum i would be lost. Thank you all!

I got comfortable ages ago. Got really annoyed buying about 3/4 packs of 5 coils for my nautilus.
Got my subtank mini about 18 months ago and never bought 1 more pack of coils.

I still think about that nautilus mini...

    Hi Zut..

I can do it but I don't like and will never like building coils. I hate fiddly stuff, that is the bottom line. I am not a mechanically minded sort of person. Any time I put furniture or anything together, it is always backward or wrong and I have to redo it. Didn't even want to change the printer cartridge today but no one else to do it so I had to. :D

Thanks, deja vu, reminds me of how hard I chased after the Sweet Medicine in that same color. Finally was able to get one from an ecf forum member. It is the only Ihy I kept.

That is the weird thing with me,i am probably the least mechanically minded man you could ever meet. I feel since i tried i have really changed. It is almost therapeutic the quest for a perfect vape.

Believe me Rose, mechanical minded I am not. As a stereotypical male I fail at most "normal" things.
Apart from vaping I have no idea about electricity, plugs, fuses. Woodwork is a no-no. Using tools is :nah:. I can use a hammer and pliers and that's about it. Painting, sanding, rubbish. I'v never wallpapered anything.
That's enough of my life story.

I don't mind building coils though. I think I might start spending an hour in the week just wrapping loads of coils ready for installing. At pennies a go, I'm happy doing them.
Plus, I could never live my vaping life without the Kayfun.

Would life be worth living???

Probably. I'd just get a squape

At least you guys/gals are good at coils. I am embarrassed to say I have one new cover on a dining room chair, been that way for 2 years and I haven't done the other 5 chairs. It isn't hard, had to wait for a new drill/screwdriver cause a screw was stuck and never got back to it.

I am an expert at collecting stuff though. lol

I am mechanically minded but hate doing coils. Until someone comes up with on that is a decent size to work with and see.
