Another twist to this is that using age verification, while not always working/protecting the vendor, it is something I have seen time and again ecfer's saying they will not do. So what is a vendor supposed to do. They are caught in the middle, for sure. I believe part of the verification requirement is so the gov can easily subpoena records to track purchases, etc. My state does this with its new industry that shall not be mentioned here.

You know that they will not actually ask the adults what they like. I guess once we are of age we are suppose to automatically stop liking anything that appeals to the younger generation of minors. I must of not received the memo.
Yeppers, you are supposed to only like the 2 tobacco flavors that will be allowed and sold by BT in closed systems. Then you can squarely be back as an outcasted smoker/vaper.

Dang, I am starting to sound paranoid, where is my tin foil?

The whole vape industry is under attack in US and this is just the beginning, so sad. SO glad I stocked up!
Even thought you are stocked up, keep that cc handy cause I foresee a lot of sales in the future as business fold, unfortunately.

Maybe we should have introduced vaping as a diet control device and it would never have been a tobacco product. Ah well hind site LOL
No, that puts us back in the realm of BP. Are you starting to feel like we are in a no win situation?

That is what I am looking for in Nov, I can see a lot of sales coming. Paying off CC's in the mean time :)

I wonder what their end game truly is. As long as flavors are available, they can't end the 'candy' flavor liquids. My best guess is they will go after the nic sales. That still won't stop the 'candy' flavors with no nic so I can't get a handle on their desired outcome other than ostracizing us till many give up. I am feeling like it is all designed to keep smokers smoking. Not just as a side event but a planned, strategic move.

I wish I had gotten a few more of the twists when they were 2.00. Now they are up to like 20 bucks or something. I am really liking them again.

They were a big hit with my wife. Definitely earned me a little more wiggle room in stocking up!

What you meant to say is that it is a planned move to keep the tobacco taxes moving - there are no tobacco taxes on vaping stuff... A lot of states are borrowed to the hilt on the projected taxes from tobacco sales that they were awarded way back when...

Your wife is a smart cookie, they are a great little, cheap, easy to use device.

If the FDA wants to end vaping, they are losing on my account cause this stuff stresses me out and I am vaping more than ever. :p:p:p to the FDA

Yes but I had fully expected they would go for taxing the crap out of vaping, not try to end vaping. Look at all the revenue they could have had if they had only gone for taxing it.

At least they didn't touch the users for possession...not yet anyway(and I don't think they can). I am sure they have their little spies on forums to see what we are up to and probably figure we are not heavy enough in numbers to actually worry about. If they win, it will be so sad to see the stats for smoking start to rise again.

I don't think they can touch possession, that would open a can of worms due to certain things that are federally illegal but legal per states. They haven't messed with that at this point. The feds and states would have to make vaping illegal, I believe. WA would probably be the first to line up unless they were making big tax money on it. Another reason to move as soon as I can.

Yea, if they had levied a 15% tax across the board or maybe even 20% people would of been upset, but they would have adjusted and business / revenue would have pressed on...
