any deals out there on quality flavoring? who has the best deals? is flavor apprentice the best place to go for FA flavorings, does buying directly from them aviod the "middle man". any crazy cheap deals on flavorings like other deals have been lately.

i also dont really think there is too much need to hoard flavorings, i dont think they will be subject to a ban, at least not for a while
osdiy has a good selection, good prices and 15% off code on their site home page this month

i just ordered the glycube but i needed anyways. i got 3 gals of VG and 1 gal of PG. PG is easier for me to get, tractor supply has PG. i got palm derived. not sure if that makes a difference. they also have soy derived. with the shipping its still not a bad deal but not as good as it originally looks. $72 after shipping.

I see many people talking about buying palm based Vg.

I hope you and others have bought sustainably sourced glycerin.
It is good that people worry so much what they are vaping now compared to not caring about what was in their cigarettes, but I think only a small amount of palm oil is sustainably sourced.

vaping has a small part to play in deforestation but none of your household products inc. vape gear should be bought without knowing where exactly they come from.

Rant over. Unethical sourced Palm products = a big, fat, :nah:

Typical i just ordered with them, and did not see a code!
They have a big banner right on their home page. Maybe you can email them and get a price adjustment after the fact or store/account credit for your next order? You can always use code ECF or JFK for 6 or 9% off IIRC and for this month's customer appreciation they increased it to 15% off.

OSDIY has 15% off sitewide for the month of Sept. They carry flavorings from many different manufacturers. Code for the discount is: JFK

From what I've personally seen, going to manufacturer's websites for flavorings...usually means you've got to buy them in larger sizes to make it worthwhile, money savings wise. I wouldn't buy flavorings in large quantities though, until I got smaller sizes to see if I even liked them first.

I've bought flavorings in a variety of brands (TFA, CAP, INW, OSDIY, and FA) from both Wizard Labs and from OSDIY Shop. Both have great variety, super prices, and their customer service and care taken for shipment are superb. I never hesitate buying from either of them.

I have no personal knowledge of the places others buy from though, like Bull City, so I can't comment on them.

I love my tugboats too. Have a black and a stainless one. Very good flavor.
good-job-smiley-emoticon.gif

Nice bro . I have 2 silver, 1 black, and 1 copper now. I'm obviously a fan too and started stocking up and collecting them. I'm waiting for an all gold Tugboat like this Twisted Messes..

GOLD-AF-Twisted-Messes-RDA-TM2-Squared-300x300.jpg

.. I would def have to buy a satin/matte gold one, like the one of the left.

I placed a big flavour order and the vendor was nice enough to include a few weird flavours for free.

Now what to do with red licorice and raisin!!! LOL.

I haven't tried it, but I want to, but I read somewhere raisin can give fruits a jammy effect...

I just ordered my first Real Flavors.Bread pudding,French toast and Apple pie.I can't wait to try them out!

I've been wanting to try some but have so many flavors now & so much juice to vape, I'll have to wait awhile. Yeah, right... lol. :D

I usually get my flavorings from ecigexpress or bullcityflavors and have been happy with them. ecigexpress has a supplier forum here on ECF where they offer frequent weekend sales & weekly recipes...

lol, Hey Lori! :) Yeah, IK, I'm getting my supplies someday this week, I'll try and leave work early to leave town.
The other supplies should be available, nic may not. :)
It doesn't mean that you *have* to start DIY'ing.
I'm just saying to maybe get your nic stash in the freezer.:2c:

Hope my flavors are ok in a cool dark place. Don't want to have to put those in the fridge, but will if I need to. I'm not doing a lot of mixing right now because I have a lot of juice to use up and not ready to give up buying some of my favorites until for some reason (tax, state laws) I can't anymore.
I have food flavorings that are over 30 years old (lol) and most are still good, weaker flavor but fine.

I have no suggestion for the red licorice, but you could try a little bit of the Raisin in with some Baked Cinnamon Roll. That might be good!
Good idea, I would try it in bread pudding recipes and maybe with some fruits for body.

I asked Kimberly, of OSDIY Shop, about that in our last phone conversation. She told me that storing them to just avoid heat and direct sunlight was fine...no need for refrigeration. Said flavorings will not "go bad" longterm, but some might get just a tiny bit weaker after an extended time.

I'm keeping my working size bottles & vials of flavorings in my mixing case, and the larger bottles that I refill those with...are in Priority Mail boxes they came in. House has A/C in use when it's hot outside, and temp. inside is never higher than 72-74 degrees. She said that's perfectly fine.
I have no concerns about flavorings, worst that happens is weaker flavors. I do find that Cap flavorings are not as good after 5 years, kind of strange aftertaste on the custard and choc types.

You can find a lot of info via google, soy is supposed to be more enviro friendly. Palm harvesting has depleted much of the rain forest.
