@bnrkwest, don't buy this. It is garbage.

Unless you want a pocket/purse full of juice, it is a garbage product. If you want a few, you can have mine.

Truly useless as they WILL come apart.
If you keep them upright do they work ok? They remind of a Carto tank or Kabuki with the o rings and I don't put this stuff in a pocket or purse, just use desk top.

There are advantage of bell caps and disadvsntages.

Dusadvantages.

Tank crscker juices will ruin them

Advantage.

Lighter weight
Shorter Height (pocket friendly)
No Kayfun steel top needed
Nicer appearance
Clearly see the ejuice remaining .

So, if I buy the Kayfun Bell caps for the Lite - that's all I'll need to switch out the steel - except a drip tip, correct?

$6.95 Acrylic Kayfun Bell Cap (6 Pieces) 6-pack - ships one of each color / 34mm height at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I feel so independent and well prepared for the dark ages of vape now that I got a Kayfun to work LOL So for anyone out there dreading building I suggest get some pre wrapped coils to practice with and jump in :) It was actually not bad at all except for that one stuck screw LOL

It does help to learn how to do it. And then I tucked the avocado away with parts just in case.

Trying out my RBA I had ready with rayon wick on my Toptank mini. Just waiting on the break in period that I heard could take up to two mls. of liquid before the flavor really comes through. Trying to be patient. I think that's why I gave up last time, but I can't keep using stock coils because changing every two days is starting to get expensive for me. I took my time wicking the coil (just enough tail) and getting nice smooth vapor, just not much flavor right now.

i repaired my eleaf 100W mod today. it was time to start learning how to repair these things. once i got the right screwdriver, it was easy. i took the top off, glued the 510 connection back in place and re-soldered the positive wire. easy fix.

where do i buy replacement 510 connections. i looked on fastech and i could only see the type you would use for a home-made mod. im looking for the type that fits most factory mods, to replace the factory connection with new when the threads wear out.

i really think these mods should last as long as the electronics still work. switches, 510's ect should all be replaceable. the boards i would think should last many years. i actually never had a board fail in one of these. sure, eventually but that could be a long time.

anyone know a source of these connectors. i think the switches are actually considered nano-switches. they can be bought dirt cheap. i hope the switches are what they call through-hole construction, meaning i can easily de-solder an old switch and replace it.

heck someone could start carrying replacement boards for these things and we would be good pretty much forever. call them regulated power control boards lol.

OK, complete newbie here to Kayfuns. Want to make sure I have this correct for parts I need from FT.

I have several EHPro Kayfun Lite Plus V2 in gold. I want the flat top bell caps to use with them, to make them shorter and lighter weight. So, if I understand right, all I need to order, to do that to them is these in whatever colors I want:

$1.62 Replacement Acrylic Bell Cap for Kayfun Lite Five Pawns at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I also want to build a couple Kayfuns in SS from scratch, again with the flat top bell caps. I think these are the only parts I need to order to do that, from what I've read on here:

$4.00 Replacement Base for 22mm Kayfun Lite Plus V2 & Kayfun Lite Five Pawns - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$2.31 Kayfun Bell Cap Kit w/ 510 Drip Tip - acrylic at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

(Can also order those in whatever colors I want as well.)

Is the above correct for what I want to do?

I've also got in my cart a couple of each of these things as spares:

$4.31 Replacement Base for 22mm Kayfun Lite Plus V2 - stainless steel / gold plated at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$1.92 Spare Parts Kit for Kayfun Lite Plus V2 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I got a few gold colored KFL Plus V2's when they were going for $10. Kayfun's are confusing. I was looking at those replacement bases. The ones I got have 2 air flow screws. I thought that was the distinguishing feature of the V2. But the bases you linked to have a single air flow screw. I don't know how much difference it makes since I only have one type.

FYI, the ones with 2 air flow screws have a different fill screw. It's a panhead screw with an o-ring. The one in the spare part kit you linked to had a countersunk fill screw and a single air flow screw.

This is a link to a great blog by @TheKiwi which gives non-vaping sources for o-rings and screws for the KFL.

Rayon UPDATE: Well been token away with my Toptank RBA with the rayon wick and noticing it not producing any air bubbles in the holes so...... took it apart and trimmed even MORE off the tails while it was wet (I did them pretty thin to begin with) then it wasn't touching the chimney sides where the holes are so just took some rayon shards and filled the space between with the pieces of rayon until I saw it white at the air hole. Now it bubbles every time I pull on it so I know it's wicking good now. Still waiting for flavor to show up. Trying real hard to give this stuff a chance. I'm not a very patient person to begin with (working on it) so this is real work for me. :)

I don't know anything about that particular RBA. :(
It's my understanding that Rayon carries flavor well in all devices, but I could be wrong, I'm definitely still learning.
I hate that you're having problems getting good flavor, I've personally experienced the opposite to be true, I've felt that I could decrease the % of flavoring in my DIY's.
So strange how we all have such different experiences....not doubting or arguing that you're having problems getting flavor, just sad I can't help with any suggestions, that has to be sooooo frustrating for you. :(
Hopefully someone will come along to offer some advice.

Do you have another style atty to try it with?

From what I read recently in the rayon thread, and am guilty of doing myself, it sounds like the density of the rayon in the wire/coil may be too much/thick.

Thought it had to be tight. Moveable, but tight, a bit tighter than cotton.

You want it snug, but not tight enough that the coil moves when you slide it through. If it pulls the coil,it is just a tad too tight.
