For the short of it, the Classic will get you a little more as it's 15w, and vv/vw, and will fire a lower ohm coil. For me it's worth it, especially at these prices. I'm sure others can go more into detail on the advantages of the Classic over the 2.5.

Thanks. I'm an 8 to 10w vaper, and build my own coils from 1.0 to 1.5, so the 2.5 Provari does the trick for me. If I have a lower-ohm coil. I just use a different mod.

The external difference is in the top cap, as the 2.5 comes with a beveled cap that works well with 18-20mm toppers, but leaves an overhang with 22mm toppers. If you use 22mm toppers, the 2.5 can either be upgraded to the flat P3 top cap for $20 (which comes standard on the Classic) or use a beauty ring Provape sells for $10 to make the connection more seamless.

I also have many 2.5's, they work great, nothing wrong in using them for our vaping style, and at today's prices, they just cannot be beat. :)

I got a couple of those beauty rings and just switch them around on the different devices. They're only charging about $6 for them now.

@MikeADore - Is this the ring you're talking about below? It's the only color I can find, but it's $16.95, which IMO is too expensive for a simple metal ring! The only other ring I see on their website is the Provari 3 Replacement Beauty Ring for $9.95.

The rings I bought are just like the ones below for the Pro 3 except they don't have the inscription on them. I don't see the exact ones on the site anymore. I think they were originally about $12, then at some point the price dropped. I never bought any colored ones, just a couple of the SS look.

Yes, I looked at those and even considered trying 1 of them, but they're threaded inside, so they won't work on the 2.5. I do remember seeing the SS rings, like the black one, about 6-8 months ago on there for around $12.95 I think. Of course...I didn't own any Varis then (hadn't caught the ProVape "bug" yet), so didn't buy any of them!

Now that I have several 2.5's...of course there aren't any more! Oh well....the early bird catches the worm, and I hadn't even made it out of the nest by then! ;)

Good idea! Like I didn't know the rounded bell caps needed the chimney with the short upper top piece. I am using the FT KF base successfully with the Ehpro clear tank and top piece. And I like the full clear tank, great for seeing juice and full tank capacity plus lighter :)

So, if I buy the base, a clear glass, and a top piece - it's all I need to put the tank together (aside from the coil)? Can you link to the correct parts? I get overwhelmed on FT.

JCinFLA, if you happen to find the beauty ring or extension ring cheap enough somewhere, the paint can be sanded off if it's the wrong color. Bought a blue extension ring thinking I could use it, but it didn't match. So, took emery board, sanded down to silver and was done inside of 20 minutes. If you have a sander, would take less time. :)

@SmilingWolf - You'd also need a chimney and a barrel to add to your list of parts.

Or...you could just buy 1 of these KFL+ here in the US for cheap, and buy just a couple bell caps from FT to make a shorter conversion out of each one. You would use some of the parts of the already made one.

@choochoogranny - Sounds like a great idea...sanding it down to a different color. But, what I need though, is what ProVape calls the Tank Ring (that I linked to above). The Beauty Ring only works on the P3, , according to what's said on their website, since it's threaded. An extension ring just extends the length of the whole tube so you can use different batteries...doesn't it?

This is what you want, they're sold out at ProVape, but you can bookmark it for reference.

Honestly, I'd email them to see if they could find one more somewhere, couldn't hurt. :2c:
Otherwise, you might try the classifieds here. Maybe post a "wanting to buy", you might get lucky.

I just placed an order yesterday with Creme de Vape, they have a different style, but that's overseas, so I'm sure you'd want that as a last ditch effort, or place a combined order for things.
Looks like it's made by SvoeMesto, it's a little different, but would surely work for those types of attys.

JCinFLA, the ring linked above by Lori is the one I bought. Sorry, I think I've added more confusion than helpful info to the conversation. I've seen those for sale other places but have no idea now where I saw them. Again, not helpful.
Don't feel bad, I've seen them as well. :( Can't remember where now.
IBTanked used to sell one that worked with the carto tanks, they will still work with some other things, but not great with KF's, I did try it with a 2.5.
