I knew what was going on?
I
know they stated all the items were in stock. I
know they stated they'd ship the next day. I
know I've been given no reasons for the delays. I
know I've not been contacted about any defective item that they wanted to wait on a replacement for, etc.

Not likely!
If they've held up shipment of items
to you because of defects in items, and you've been notified of that...then
that's a great business practice. If they've replaced items some people have received damaged (several on here)...
that's another positive thing they've done. But that's not the case here.
It doesn't matter to me if it's a US company or FT; if items ordered are expensive or dirt cheap. If a company says items are in stock and will ship the following day...it's
not wrong for their customers to expect that. Nothing above and beyond that, just that.
