That's why I love you guys. Showing me the error of my ways, I appreciate it! I figured it was no big deal but if somebody told me to put in glass I would. And here we are!
What kind of plastic is that bottle? Look on the bottom, there should be a number in the triangular recycling symbol.

Glass is best. Colder is better. Fridge if no freezer is available.

Did you order the Amber or some other color of glass bottles? Also, if you won't be getting a freezer sometime fairly soon...do you have room at least in the fridge where you can keep them as cool as possible in the glass bottles?

They are amber. I could get a small fridge and put it in my craft room which has a lock on the door. I have a toddler so I am very uneasy about putting it in the general freezer or the fridge

Sorry to beat the proverbial dead horse, but I need to have this crystal clear: I can get devices for sure until aug 2018, but nicotine procurement could cease any day?
I'm actually surprised they haven't already cracked down on nic.

If you can get a small fridge for your craft room, why not a small freezer?

So pg based nic won't expand when frozen? That brings me to my next question. Since I am just starting on acquiring all of my nic, I've been buying pg based, is vg better?
I would go VG or a blend.

Vg is thicker than PG so less oxydization.

VG. Its easier to mske higher VG juices.

For flavors always get a blend or High PG. VG is LOUSY carrying flavors.

I just thought I'd be okay for half a year while I stock up on nic. Then it will all get frozen. But it sounds like I need to rethink that
Do what you can in your budget! Break down one if you can now with your new bottles and seal the big ones up, and go as you can.

#2 bottles are HDPE and are good ones to use, if you have to use plastic for awhile. That's the plastic most vendors ship their nic in, although theirs is usually a solid white or brown color, so no light gets to the contents. A few do use the amber see through ones though. If that bottle will be boxed or out of any light though...should be OK for short-term.

EDIT: However, the lids on most of the HDPE bottles aren't HDPE, and are usually PP (polypropylene). PP recommended lowest temp. is just 32F. So, not great for longterm storage, nor for use in the freezer. They can become brittle in a freezer.

Put it glass.

Because I don't have room for the small freezers I've seen. But have seen small fridges
Are you sure?

I have this one, although it seems to be out of stock right now, and is a bit more expensive now than it was when I bought it:

It fits happily under a desk:

I wonder how much longer we have to get nic? I need to know for budgeting purposes. What's the worse case scenario with nic? I'm stocked up on devices and tanks
I would do it sooner. Publication 52 of tge USPS says they are going to restrict tge strength of nicotine allowed to be shipped.

In Google USS tge search phrase use

USPS nicotine 61.5 mg pub 52.

It's not just the nic base either. They're already restricting flavorings that have higher than a certain % of ethyl alcohol in them...from being sent USPS. Several vendors have already emailed and said nic base and higher EA flavorings have to go by UPS Ground now from them.

Were not sure of ANYTHING other than the need to prep.

Mods and attys should be available till 8/8/2018 but tge Govt gas broken its word before. eBay and other US sites are already pulling e cigarette listings.

So the answer is PREP WHILE YOU CAN!

Start nicotine and only nicotine

Then prep mods cand attys

If your glass bottles are due to arrive on Tuesday...why not just do it all in glass bottles? I wouldn't keep 1L of nic in a plastic bottle for even a year, personally.
Thats where we are different. I woukd not keep 1 liter in a glass bottle.

Earthquake

Kids or grand kids rummaging tge freezer for ice cream you could lose your nic

Would never consider glass unless it was in a seperate freezer tge kids and grand kids weren't allowed in.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of freezing it...yet. I'm using all my extra cash to get devices and nic. I hope to have a freezer in 8 months or so
Until your freezer arrives.

Things buried in tge ground are in the dark, and a constant 54 degrees.
