Stocking up is good I suppose, but it can also be a bad thing.

On some of the previous mods that I owned, I bought a bunch of coils for them, and now that I've moved on, they're basically useless.

I didn't tell people to prep coils.

I ALWAYS suggested switching to RDAs or RTAs and prepping for those.

Because if deeming regulations stand tge coils will go bye bye.

I do have about 100 coils for a Nautilus Mini but that is reserved for the day when i can NO longer build my RTAs.

I got all tin foil hat today with my husband and told him in no uncertain terms that now is the time for getting nicotine in the freezer. No more putting it off. No more hardware purchases for me until there are 3-4 liters of nic in my freezer.
I agree. Its only a matter of time before companies refuse to ship nic, and States tax the ______ out of it

I'll be home in a couple days.

I can put some info together then.

Might be worth the wait.

I'm so sorry, Doc.

I was only home for a couple days and I got wrapped up into buying a new car for the wife and putting a new floor in the kids' bathroom.

Worked myself to death and totally forgot about this.

I was hoping to break out a bunch of gear and tools and do an informative video demonstration.

Every time I thought about it I was too overwhelmed.

Then got a load out of there faster than I expected.

Video hasn't crossed my mind since until now.

Damn. I'm still exhausted, too.

Seriously, man, I'm really sorry.

I can handle 50ish per liter. Once I get 3-4 liters in the freezer I won't feel so paranoid and can wait for sales or deals. I feel like Provape closing their doors made it all a little more real for me (I don't even own a provari, I just knew it was a relatively big name) and suddenly become very worried. Jumping on this thread has made me even more worried. All I know is I don't ever want to smoke tobacco again, so if this is what has to be done I'm doing it.
Welcome to the party.

I have been shouting to prep for 19 months almost from the day I joined.

It feels good to prep and have things you lime and the useless Bureaucrats can't affect you as much.

While I'm happy to hear that this bill is being introduced once again, I think it would be premature to change one's plans based on the mere introduction of a bill. Even if it passes both houses and the President signs it into law, it won't stop various States from implementing confiscatory taxes.
I agree. Not the time to let our guard down.

Batteries do have a limited shelf life, so you should keep that in mind. It wouldn't hurt to have a couple of sets and use them ONLY in your Provari while keeping another couple of sets of flat tops for your other mods that can use the flat tops.

I worry about availability myself, but can't see stocking a lifetime supply of AW's knowing that in a few years they would probably be no good. Stock and freeze your nic, and hope that there will always be good button tops down the road.
Absolutely correct.

Have va small stash of batteries but only what would be used in 1.5-2 years. After that they may be DOA.

I ordered mine from Glass Bottle Outlet. Shop around for prices, but they have a great selection. Polycone caps provide a good seal, IMO. If I remember correctly it takes 4 8oz bottles to bottle up a liter of nic with a little left over for current vaping needs ( 32oz = .95 liters ). You might want to buy some 2oz or 4oz bottles to keep out of the freezer for daily DIY use. The freezer makes PG and especially VG thick and sluggish until they thaw.

These are $1.18 each
8 oz. Amber Boston Round with Black Poly Cone Cap (28/400)
You got it on the money.

I dreaded rebuilding and mixing until my first build and later my first mix. It was all easy after that. The benefits were different from my expectations and exceeded them. I would be mixing and rebuilding regardless of government interference or cost and I'm not a flavor or cloud chaser.

My monthly mix takes about 20 minutes. A twice a month rebuild also takes about 20 minutes. A $5 spool of wire and a $10 bag of cotton will last about 4 years. My cost of ingredients for e liquid is about 5 cents a day. Vaping isn't cheap, it's free.
I love rebuilding.

My builds taste way better than any premade coil i ever used.

How to know if you "are done stocking up"....you haven't even opened up the last 50 emails from suppliers for their "special, limited time sales"
Easy. You don't need anything else.

This is prepping not hoarding.

Ok guys, I finally dug out my pico and have been using it for a few days now. Sadly it is going back in my use when I have nothing else to use drawer. Granted it is short but it is just too wide to fit comfortably in my hand. I was tempted by the great prices I have been seeing but will just have to pass them by. I do hope those of y'all that have stocked up on them have at least tried them out to be sure they will work as well as expected when it come time to use them.

Fortunately I am well stocked on my favorite kbox mini and hubby assures me that he will be able to replace the battery in my istick 30 watts when needed so all is not lost.
You want to sell, i could use another or 3.

The Pico is my favorite mod of all time.

Everytime I read this thread I can't help but think most of us would be candidates for An episode of Doomsday Preppers.

What are you prepping for? Economic Collapse, Earthquake, Pandemic, Yellowstone caldera eruption. Nope...the Vapocalypse.

I don't think I will ever regret putting up Nic. I have learned to diy ejuice I like. It is also pushing me to learn to build coils, also good I think. The only thing I am tentative about is mods.
