Maybe everyone should have Deeming Parties on 8-8. That way we could meet all our vaping neighbors and exchange contact information. Then someday, when we can't see well enough to attach our coils, we'll have younger neighbors who can help us out. We could also swap vape supplies and such as needed.

It is highly possible that in the years down the road our circle of vaping friends that we've made along the way may become our most valuable asset to keep us vaping long into the future when we need some help. :)

MhMA DT's are a work of art. I need to take the time to do some organization but I think I have 10 of them now.

I wish I had paid attention to these before now. I went back through the galleries on the site and there are some truly amazing ones.

Even if it's in glass bottles kept in the freezer it's unlikely to last 10 years before it goes bad. Nicotine oxidizes over time. The more oxygen and more heat it's exposed to the faster it degrades. Keeping it in the freezer and putting it in glass bottles reduces how quickly it oxidizes, but nothing can stop it from oxidizing entirely.

In a plastic bottle in a dark place at room temperature I would expect nicotine base to last 1-1.5 years.
In a glass bottle in a dark place at room temperature I would expect nicotine base to last 2-2.5 years.
In a glass bottle in the freezer I would expect nicotine base to last somewhere between 5-7 years.

I would not count on nicotine base to last 10 years. MAYBE if it's been vacuum sealed in a dark glass bottle with an air-tight, non-permeable cap and kept in a freezer down around 0 degrees F, MAYBE, but even that is questionable. There is still some oxygen in the nic base itself, it will still degrade, just very very slowly.

I can personally vouch for nic that's been in the freezer for 5 years and 4 months being perfectly fine. :)

They are already our most valuable assets.....right here on the forums. This is the one place many can come here for the support they cant get elsewhere, to laugh, to cry, to complain & to hug it out. We pick each other up when down & help you spend that extra $1.25 you found in the sofa on coils. Many of us put in more hours here throughout the day than we do elsewhere.

The friendships I've made here are ones I cherish everyday. We may not always agree with one another, & like any family, fights break out, we go to our corners, sulk for a bit then come back like nothing happened.....(well in most cases) :sneaky:

At the end of the day, the one thing we all have in common is the desire to not go back to traditional cigarette smoking & no matter the mod anyone uses, the goal is all the same.

Hmm not sure, my end is a regular 510 and the pip on top is taller.

Those definitely look like the ones in the pic on DFW, and their description does say...Vivi Nova, but only for the Smoktech Vivi Nova. I checked my Vision Vivi Novas, and they're positively not for them as they said.

Even if you use 1 coil a week in your 80's...at 10 cents/piece...$5.20 spent now gets you a year's worth of coils for then!!

Have a decent amount of PT1 and PT2 heads, wonder how much those run these days? Picturing myself trying to rebuild one... lol.

In case you're looking for more coils for your PT1 and PT2, and want genuine KangerTech...I've been buying coils from Tish and Dave at Desert Vapes for several years (just ordered more yesterday, & shipped already). Always authentic, super prices, low S/H, and terrific customer service.

Kanger Universal Coils - $3.95 for a box of 5, choose from 5 different resistances

Kanger SOCC (Organic Cotton Coil) - same coils & price, but with SOCC - choose from 6 resistances

If you've never ordered from them before, you can also use this 10% off code Tish gave me to pass along to friends and members here: 1storder10

I am on vacation this week so I have been rather obsessing about the vaping stuff, too much time on my hands

The friend I have who is militant about her vaping rights, and who vapes heavily @24mg/ml hasn't bought her nicotine yet. She said she's still thinking about it. I expect that she will wait until 8/7 and then panic about it and it may be too late. I only bought her 1 liter because I have two people to supply here at home. I told her that she needed to decide how many years worth she wants and take care of the rest herself. It bothers me not to just cover her needs but I've spent enough really.

So yesterday I am over there working on her computer. She's a close friend and I am happy to do it for free but she usually pays me in fresh eggs from her chicken coop and fresh veggies from the garden.
Yesterday she whips out $100 cash and insists that I take it. I'm like "NO WAY, I am NOT taking your money !" She is a great debater tho and always wins every argument LOL and she says (in a very bratty tone) " FINE, if you don't take the money I will never ask you to do another thing for me and I will be stuck paying a professional big bucks instead"

Geeze Louise I take the money but am not happy about it. Then on the ride home it occurs to me that RTS still has their 4th of July sale going on so as soon as I walked through the door I ordered her 2 more liters of 100/mg/ml nicotine. It's a win/win. I can stop worrying that she doesn't have enough nic now and I don't have to feel guilty about taking her money :w00t:

I never thought I'd be giving just plain old nicotine to people as gifts. These sure are strange times.
