I used to love tobacco flavors but now I can't stand them

A few months ago on a whim I ordered my once go to tobacco flavor - I used it in everything, but slowly slipped away from it so I ordered some for a stroll down memory lane.

Yuck and to think I used to love that juice...

Although I expect to continue being able to order generic flavorings, I'm a bit concerned that I mix our all day vape with a proprietary flavoring developed by a long standing vape vendor. It's a somewhat sensitive question to ask for a recipe in case they go under.

I haven't gotten a good idea yet as to how to store that flavoring in bulk for the long haul in the event they choose to stop doing business. I may have to bite the bullet for a gallon, (approx 16 year supply), break it down into glass and hope for the best. Time to ask them for an opinion about long term storage.

I can't say for very long storage,but i have several flavors that are over 2 years old,and they are still good to go.I transfer all my big bottles to glass though,so not sure if that makes a difference,but i would guess it probably does for long term.

I've thought about putting all my flavors in amber glass, most likely the best for longer storage, but haven't done anything about it. Gotta buy more bottles, and label them, get more good caps, or droppers. Seems like a PIB, but maybe I'll get around to doing it.

I store all my flavorings in glass bottles. I use both clear and amber, it all depends on what I have available. They are kept in my basement where it is cool and dark. I have a couple of five year old flavorings that I don't use often that are still perfectly fine. Others are 4, 3, 2 years old. (yeah I have a lot of flavorings, lol.) There are differences between flavorings so I don't think we can give a generic answer to how long all flavorings will last, but I do suspect many will do well for quite a while, although probably not indefinitely.

I transfer all of my flavorings to glass as soon as I get them if they come in plastic. I don't know if it is necessary but I just feel better with storing them in glass.

I have mech mods, dripping attys, tanks, and even a handful of old-school cartos along with some 100mg nic base, so I figure I'm all set. Everything else should be "gettable" after the vapocolypse.

In fact, I envision a world where flavored 0mg vg/pg base may still be available - add a bit of stashed nic base and voila...

...or a world where a company like Cuttwood, for example, offers Boss Reserve flavoring for making "hard candy". Add vg/pg and a bit of stashed nic base and once again back in business.

Of course I could be wrong, in which case it'll be unflavored, or diy, or Marlboros.

My wife has been vaping FW East Coast Tobacco exclusively for almost 3 years.
Her cousin has gotten 120ml of DIY MBV Hawk Sauce from me every month for over 2.

I'll figure out how much it'll take to supply them for as long as those flavors will most likely last.
Glass/polycap 250ml's in the basement split to a glass 4oz and 2 60ml "using" bottles when time.

My friend's dad goes through a 30ml flavoring bottle of Hangsen RY1 every 6-9 months.
Time to order a bigger bottle for him too.

I'm figuring that I am going to miss a few flavors as time goes on, but plan on enjoying them while I can...

I actually have a tank that's been filled with Cin City and sitting in a iTaste VTR for around two years. Thing still tastes great... I check it every once in a while. The juice in the bottle I can't speak for. Will it blow up someday? Maybe.

3 years of vaping and all I really care for is RY4, specifically Heavenly Tobacco. I need to learn DIY... quickly.

Glad to hear it. I'm 100% VG and only need RY4, it shouldn't be hard for that setup haha.

Are you going to make your own RY4? If not - there is a limit of how much RY4 flavoring you can stock up on - we do not know what the limit is, but it does not store forever...

Ya, but ... are they really? Or is it just a machine sitting in the corner somewhere which has a bent gear they've never fixed, so it keeps spitting out blem 2.5s which nobody would be buying for the full price? There's just... an infinite supply of 'em. Not that I'm complaining, they're pretty great for the price and loading up on 'em beats making your own mods from plumbing supply parts, playdoh and some awesome 510 connectors from China which'll last for at least 5 uses, after the end of vapetime arrives.

Seriously, I'm guessing the blems are a marketing concept rather than actual defects, otherwise it just doesn't make sense how many of them there are. FWIW about half the blems I've ever purchased, I can't find whatever is supposed to be wrong with them.

I have a half dozen blem 2.5's and I can't find anything wrong with any of them. They just must have tons of 2.5 tubes lying around.

I've never found a blem on any of mine either, I've bought several from the Specials page over the last few months.
The finish isn't as smooth as the originals I have, but for the $, I can most definitely live with that!!

Yea, but I have tried many times and with several recipes and have never been able to quite duplicate my fav...

I did get a bunch of those smoktech Vivi heads, arrived today. Also pass thru's arrived, I can use my Cartos on them for golden years more pieces parts arrived too.
