I am beginning the think my last package from FT was put on a slow boat instead of a plane this time Sure is good that it is just some coils and o-rings.

I had two orders placed the same day, one is here at PO, the other still has that processed through facility that yours has. Sometimes they don't update the tracking so we might see them soon. I don't think it is anything different than in the past so I am not worried.

I still have two outstanding orders from FT. One contains O-rings and I placed it 7/21. I finally got a notice that it shipped. I have a feeling that it's getting here via a trip to the moon . The other one I placed only a week ago. I'm not worried about either because I read warnings on this forum about how getting stuff from China takes time. So anything less than a month is good.

My orders before just a few weeks ago almost always took a full week traveling between China and the US. It was amazing how quickly the shippers got stuff from China to the US just before 8/8/16. I'm thinking its back to normal transporting time now that 8/8/ has passed.

My one package ordered 7/10 that seemed to be wandering aimlessly around China finally left China on 8/7/16 (I think lol) . We'll see how long it takes to land in the US. My last vape mail. Hubby will be happy

I normally get my packages from FT within 2 weeks so I am really not concerned about it. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that this is kinda normal for packages coming from there. I could have worded the OP a bit better though

The one FT order I was sweating (iStick Pico) didn't go through customs, and shows having departed San Francisco this morning. Two other orders containing a rash of atty parts spent an hour in ISC on Monday, then moved quickly in and out of SF. I'll place another order of parts and o-rings in a few weeks, and see what happens.

My biggest concern is the labeling that always reads "electronic gadget." Back in the day, my Hawaiian roommate's cool mom shipped her non-FDA approved packages from home labeled as "widgets;" we were never short on those widgets. Good times.

Yes, I believe it is. At least, that's what other folks have said it means.

I have heard that FT is now giving an option as to 'what' you want your package labeled as. Haven't ordered from FT since July 4, so I have not experienced this myself,but it should be somewhere on the page where it shows shipping. "electronic gadget" is the default tho.

I didn't notice that option! I'll have to get creative; maybe something silly is called for, like "multi-colored silicone doll fashion accessories" for my o-rings.

I've been able to go back to the open order and tick a box for discrete shipping. It says they take all the logos and stuff off the shipping label. I haven't seen the ticky box before I pay, only after the order shows on my list. The return address is from Mr. Chinese surname/address and doesn't mention FT. It still shows as electric gadgets on the form.
