How is everyone else determining that they're truly done?

Prohibition lasted 13 years. So by the end of this December, I want to ensure that I have 13 years worth of mods/nic/tanks. Wire/cotton/batteries/flavor/PG/VG and ohm readers I am not worried about getting later. I'm not even that worried about mods/tanks... I know people. Already got my nic, and I'm counting on the squirrels to return it.

I need to get some Nic Base soon. Seems VapersTek is still operating normally where I buy my base.... I have a little over 100 ml of Nic Base 100mg VG only but man just found out about all this today havent been reading this forum for months... I hope I have enough time to get Nic Base! Thats really all I have to have for the forseeable future have plenty of flavoring for a year or more. Also have a lifetime supply of Rayon for my wicks... A 500ft Box of Rayon from Sally's Beauty supply is all you could ever use for about 12 bucks out the door. Got maybe 10 rebuildable tanks or so(4 Aromamizer's that I use daily)and plenty of Kanthal, Stainless Steel Etc even got some Nife52. Not nearly as flushed with stock as some other guys here thats for sure, but with a large order of Nic base I would make it a couple years no doubt. Maybe get another Box Mod soon as well as I just have an XCube 2, Sigelei 150W(Original no TC), Sigelei 30W, and an ELeaf IStick 60W TC. Believe our 18650s should be safe indefinitely because they have other applications other than vaping like for high powered flashlights etc.

Oh by the way thanks to whoever linked the Innokin raffle!!!

I won an axiom tank and a t-shirt. That'll help my tank stocking, and I may just have to start wearing vaping T-shirts.

I have one outstanding order from Focalecig which I ordered on the 3rd and has yet to be processed by them, not sure what is going on there as both items were in stock when I ordered them :sneaky: thankfully it's a small order but I don't understand what the hold up is. :nah:
I feel ya. I've only had one issue once, it was with Fasttech when the kayfun first came out, my first and last clone experience I'll ever have, it took 5 weeks for it to get to my door step -.- I wanted to see if I would like it but got the authentic faster. Hopefully you get it worked out.

I need a couple mech mods and a few more reg mods and I think I should be okay. Or maybe I'm just sick of shopping &/or snooping around for deals every single stinkin' day for the past few months. I honestly don't know. I should take a proper inventory of what I have and then decide.

How is everyone else determining that they're truly done?
I finally took inventory and put it in a spreadsheet, oh hell I've got a lot of crap!
    7 Regulated Mod's
    2 Unregulated
    30 Mech's
    54 RDA's
    38 Tanks
    4.5 Liters 100mg nic

Now I need to take inventory on my wire...

    And you know what?
I am still hoping that this was not needed and I wake up next month and the FDA's regulations are shutdown.

I bought a car charger, because I panicked when the power was off for 2 hrs during a storm!

I thought of the same thing about 6 weeks ago! We have been though power outages before, one lasting almost two weeks during an ice storm that took down power lines. I bought a charger that is normally AC, but it has a cable that will charge in a car, if necessary.

I'm thinking if most people paid as much attention to their monthly finances as we do to our vaping, they wouldn't come up short at the end of the month, maybe?

First I took care of all of my "need" list purchases.:) Then I took care of all of my "want" list purchases. :) Then I added a handful of "dang I shouldn't have tried that because now I like it and need more" purchases. ;) Lastly I tried to make a list of anything else I should get and 24 hours later my list was still empty  That's when I knew I was done.
In early 2013, I started stocking up on nic and RBAs. I had been DIYing since early 2011, but had never built a coil. I stocked up on RBAs anyway, just in case.

I first started stocking mech mods, starting with my first REO in March 2014.

I didn't start stocking up on VV mods until October 2014. That's when I bought my first used Provari. I had only had a couple of VV mods before that and was very dissatisfied with their quality (or rather lack of quality). It was time to find something that would last and last and last.

If I hadn't started so far ahead, there's no way I'ld be ready now. I have no credit cards and make very little money. I was even unemployed for several months because of health issues.

I would really like more time to experiment. I'm so very slow to try new things.

For example, I was thinking of trying the Kayfun Mini V3 and the Tilemahos. I hesitate to try new RBAs because most people recommend RBAs that are too airy or too hard to build for me.

I guess I really don't need anything else. It would just be nice to try some things while I still can.

Sounds like you've done a good job of collecting what you need to keep you vaping happy even though it hasn't been easy. :) I often think we tend to get carried away with far more stuff then we'll ever use or need ;) We're important to each other now, but if things continue on the path they are on our vaping friends are going to be our most valuable stash a few years down the road when many of us may need a bit of help. ;)

I have no doubt you still have time to try more stuff before it gets more difficult and/or costly to do so. :)

We will be here if you need anything. That is what friends are for.

How is the purple Vari doing? ;)

I guess someone got POd about the $ that was being spent to secure OUR future in vaping and decided to take a perma walk. Keep in mind that no bills were neglected. But I'm done stocking 4 sure and money will be saved. Was it worth it? I'm still trying to decide.

Wife told me, if I went back to college to take 5 classes to graduate from Big 12 with a BS in Management Information Systems she would divorce me the week before I left for college.

Meh... I wonder what my ex is doing now, nahhh, not really. She quit her job as a store manager for Wallgreens and moved out of Illinois. The only person keeping her in that job was ME.

I have my degree and have worked in Silicon Valley since the break up, which was my dream the entire time I attended college.

I have a 13,000 mAh power bank. (it's a few years old, larger ones can be had for a reasonable price) It holds a charge for a long time. I also have a 2 bay nitecore usb powered charger. With that, I can charge my phone and batteries a few times each. We also have a portable solar charger, but it would take a long time to charge anything with it. When we go hiking, we connect our phones to our power banks at night and they are charged by morning. They automatically cut off the power when they finish charging.
