Well I will let you know once I try it! LOL I like the Kabuki so much was trying for something to keep it going when I run out of coils.

I felt like I was at a bit of a crossroad with my Naut Mini. It's one of my favorites. I didn't want to stock up on coils, but hated knowing that once my 5 pack stash was depleted, the Mini would be going on the shelf.

I took a gamble on a VVTF RBA. I liked it so much, I ordered 3 more, and 2 more Naut Minis. It IS a challenge. I won't deny it. It still takes me a while to get it right. Take your time (not like we have a choice, building on this tiny thing), plan your build. Look it over good, before starting. The coil legs need to be bent / tweaked in different directions. With your background in tiny work, you'll get the hang of it pretty easily, I think.

I figured you could use a ray of positive feedback. I haven't used a BVC since I got my first RBA (about 2 months).

I'm with Lexi on the rayon.
I smoked for 30+ years, I'm (seriously) not too concerned about my wick material.
That doesn't mean that I don't care what I vape, not at all, just that...well, most devices need a wick of some sort, and I've researched, and tried, a few of the different types, and decided that rayon is fine with me.
YMMV, and as always, do what you're comfortable with.

I'm funny about rayon, I prefer cotton in my drippers, bottom feeders and PT2 re-builds, but I only use rayon in my Russian's and Kayfun's now.

That's interesting. I'm not confident enough to use cotton in a dripper or BF, well, at least not to leave the house wicked with that, but maybe I'll get there. I think I was also getting my cotton too thick.
I love it in my Kayfun, well...in everything, but I've also not been doing coils in the more advanced attys that long either.
I've done enough coils for the original Kanger Pro Tanks that I could literally do them in my sleep, but they're not what I consider the same as the more advanced toppers/attys.
I'll get there eventually, I just need to get some more experience under my belt.
Can't remember if it was you or DP who uses the cotton thread too. I used to use/like that as well.
Heck, I remember boiling butchers twine.

I've got rayon in my Kayfun, but I haven't tried cotton in a dripper yet. That's a thought, thanks, ENAUD.

Then again, in a dripper, I might not keep it topped up enough to keep from burning it (I'm a lazy vaper). But I'll try cotton one of these days.

You can get a phone number for free from Google and use Google Hangouts (also free) to get (and send) texts. So there are ways around it if you have no cell phone or don't want to give your cell number out. I installed the Google Dialer on my tablet and it's now a wireless phone if I want it to be.

The one I have, which is a remodeled new one, not an antique, just a 1:1 to the older ones except; bluetooth capabilities, usb port, direct phone, back up battery, etc. It's nice, it does everything the old ones do but new and has updated tech features I like, and like I've said, it even has that slow rotor noise when spinning..

.. The way I use it, I have it bluetoothed to my cell phone but there's tons and tons of connectivity options for it. Hardlined, connect thru usb, pc connect, etc.

What I miss about having a home phone is that you could hear them ring and answer them in any room in the house. Without having to carry a cellphone on you in your home. I miss a lot of calls when I'm in the kitchen.

I have had wraps for two of my Vamos. Liked them, but to wrap everything in my moderate collection now would cost me about 70$. Just not worth it ATM.

I may be missing something. But, why does a j-wrap cost $15 to $18? Why would it cost more than $5?

I wonder how that compares to the big box. I don't want to have a humongous box of rayon in my closet for the rest of my life. I would be happy to pay the price for the large one to get just about 1/3 the amount.

I was the same. Nautilus mini all the way. Loved it. Hated re-stocking coils, though. Back in May, I wondered if I could ever get coils again in the future and didn't want to spend a gazillion dollars to stock them for the next 10 years. So I investigated other avenues and came up with some rebuildable Kayfuns and IGO-L drippers. Better flavor and much cheaper. Good to go now.

Got my FT package today also. It shipped out on the 3rd and according to the tracking it either bypassed customs or wasn't scanned. I know some folks were worried about shipments that were over $100.00 raising a red flag but this one seemed to get here with no problems.

Nooooooo, not at ALL. I was curious about it myself when I first learned about it.
I just was offering my feelings on the subject, and links to a couple places where more info could be found because there are still a lot who haven't tried it and might be curious as well.

Oh the great wicking debate again. IMO use what works for you. I've tried everything from Supima cotton, Cotton Bacon to degummed Hemp fiber. My mainstay is Koh gen Do, I love the way it wicks to the ritual of the Scottish Roll. Bonus is it's very inexpensive.

Use what works best for you, but don't be afraid to try something new. Within reason of course, saw some active charcoal infused "vaping cotton" once, anyone for miners black lung disease?

I can say with absolute certainty you have to eventually get over the "worrying what others think about you stuff" , you will never enjoy life if you are always worrying about what others think of you .

A therapist can help but make sure he's not a nut job , many are crazier than their patients . Always be yourself , there will be plenty of people who you will attract , there will also be people you don't click with .

Thats 100% normal & a basic part of life for everybody , i found out that i am only liked by my dog , thats OK with me , people annoy me and get on my nerves anyway .

Good luck to you and remember you are just as important as anyone else.
