Probably my least exciting vape mail ever. Basically just glass and O-rings for STM, toptanks, and Griffin 25's. My chosen stock up tanks based on my limited experience. Whoever recommended these drip tips I love them! And I can't tell you how excited I am to have an orange one... I don't get picky on much in life but if there's orange, I'm buying it.

If anyone wants the pink, purple, or almost purple one I'll slap a stamp on an envelope and send it you if you PM me.

That is more exciting than mine yesterday. 14ga tips kick, kick tube, insulators. All put straight in the relevant box.

I have found for myself that if I stop something having a bit around helps. I stopped drinking, but keep a bottle of wine around. I stopped smoking but keep a pack of cigarettes around. It just works for me. :)

I still have the last pack kicking around here. The remains of the last carton is somewhere in the van.

I never sign out either. I'm usually on my phone or iPad and have it bookmarked but the page wouldn't load at all. For a brief moment I panicked. If this forum went away how would I be able to find you all. Then I realized that probably wasn't the case, got some coffee and sat on the balcony staring at the beach. :)

thinking about the nic stashed in my freezer for the Dark Ages. What would you do with yours if you are ever able to be nic free? Would you give it to someone else? I would keep mine. It would be like the bottle of booze so many recoved alcoholics keep.

Good question. I guess I won't find out if I can quit vaping until my stash is gooooooooooooone ;)

That Discover article needs to go to FDA on Nicotine the Wonder Drug. I also was surprised to learn in Anatomy and Physiology class that we humans have nictotine receptors in our brain. I thought what? All these years we have been sold a bill of goods that nicotine is bad but our brain actually needs nicotine! I was stunned.

They probably already know. They have their fingers in any new drugs or studies that are out there.

Did you guys have a hard time getting on here this morning? Took me about 20 minutes. I kept getting website is offline.

Site was down for a bit this morning. The server or something crashed.

BTW, I never sign out of the forum.

I don't sign out either! Sometimes, if I go somewhere, or take a nap, get busy here at home, etc. but stay online with an ECF page up...it looks like I'm still here! I've often wondered, when people see that I'm online, but don't respond to a PM for hours sometimes, if they think I'm ignoring it. I'm actually not! :)

I have a few people that I have connected with on Facebook for this very reason. If the site goes down (happened a few times LOL and panic sets in) we can commiserate on facebook.

My facebook information is in my profile. I don't just let anyone, that asks, friend me there. But if someone puts ECF and screen name in their request, I would be more apt to accept the request. ;)

If I spent any time on facebook I would send a friend request faster than a gnat can blink

my husband still smokes,,,,,,,,,,it did get on my nerves on our recent road trip,,,,,after all my car likes smelling like lemon sugar cookies,,,,,,,not some wasteland of chemicals.-- he will 'vape' to make me happy for about 2 minutes........then its back to the cigs. the cigs are starting to really take their toll on his breathing........and still he wont try to stop/switch to vaping. for years I have made plans for our retirement years together,,i handle the money and spend it wisely etc........but I am having to accept that those years will likely be alone because he will have passed on.

Honestly it scares me to death that my husband might die before me, but, I can't live his life for him. He has to make his own choices, for himself.

Mine doesn't want them vape, he thinks it's wrong somehow, to plug in and recharge your smokes, instead of lighting up and burning. he is old fashioned and doesn't take well to change, and this is one change he won't even try. He also laughs at me for vaping "cake" as he says instead of cigarette flavor. I offered to get him some tobacco flavors to try and see if he likes the taste, but he says no. He wants to smoke.

Nothing I can do about that, and since we both were smokers, I don't think I can ask him to change because I did.

But I understand that fear, it worries me all the time.. I do not want to outlive him.. I have already outlived one child, and an adopted child as well.. (one to cancer, one to Afghanistan) I don't think I could deal without him.

Thank you sweetie! You can still friend request just on the off chance that you decide to take a break from all the madness here. I worry about those that have left and we do not know if they are still alive and kicking.

I am friends with a few that have either stopped vaping (and not taken up smoking again) and those that have dropped vaping and started back up with smoking. At least I still see them and know they are all right. :)

Do you remember EddardinWinter? That guy with the lion avatar? He was pretty vocal in the CASAA debate threads back in the day. He went back to smoking. His new passion is motorcycles. LOL I still touch base with him off and on through facebook.

Robin, did he say what made him go back to smoking? I'm just curious because in the back if my mind There is always this tiny worry that this could happen to me for some reason.

Yes I do remember him. I am sure there are a lot of folks that have given up on vaping. I just hope the majority of the ones that have haven't gone back to smoking. My sister (she was tashababy here) no longer vapes but she didn't go back to smoking either. I really wish she hadn't stopped vaping though. She has a lot of health problems causing pain and she was surprised that vaping actually alleviated some of the pain. Sadly she is one that will follow whatever her doctor says and take whatever they give her to take. :(

I had a pack in my freezer for 3 yrs as a security blanket. When I moved I finally threw them out as the thought of having a cigarette almost made me barf! LOL
I kept a half pack after I quit and was vaping full time. It sent me into a panic not to have them around…just in case. Then a few months later I lit one. OMG it was awful :):):)

He may have been like my hubby. He actually went a couple of months with vaping only but then back to smoking just a few a day but mostly vaping. Now he still vapes but mostly smokes. I think if it weren't for me keeping up with everything he needs to vape he would go full time smoking :(
