According to the fasttech website, they are not complying with the new FDA regs to list accurate descriptions of the contents of our packages (marked as gifts with low value). I have 3 outstanding orders I'm waiting on from them.

What has been your experience since 8/8 on your packages getting hung up in Customs or being returned to fasttech? Orders are from 8/10, 8/11, and 8/15. Only 1 has shipped so far but it is still in China as of 8/20.

Sorry, I didn't mean to write a book.
I have 2 FT orders floating around from after 8-8 so I shall see if they make it.

I placed an order on the 15th and no updates to it yet. I will update this and the post 8/8 thread as it moves through the process. The order is all parts (bases, glass, seals, drip tips, silicone sleeves, pre-coiled wire, etc).

I saw the release but only skimmed the descriptions since I had started to DIY their Deadly Sin which I love so much. I was going to try and DIY their El Kamino but I find myself liking tobacco dominant recipes less and less these days so not sure if I will ever get around to trying clones of that recipe. Their deadly sin is excellent juice and my first try at one of the many clone recipes I found turned out so good (not exact clone but great juice regardless) that I already made a 200ml batch of it that is steeping while I finish off what I have left of the authentic juice.

    • Juice: I vape mostly unflavored but use both a Brother label maker and a Sharpie (depending) to label the 4oz and 1oz bottles I mix up. I put nicotine level (mg), VG/PG/H2O ratios on the labels.
    • To many tanks and types of builds: I use the label maker to note the wire type, TCR and the built/tested value for future reference. (I'll forget)
    • I have one of those stackable "parts bin" thingies for all the bits and pieces that go into tanks and building. All the drawers are labeled. Makes finding stuff much easier.
    • Then there's the pile/stack of boxes that tanks and mod's came in. I tried emptying the contents into the drawers above but with so many 1-off tanks I'd need a few more sets of drawers to hold them all.
I have a filing cabinet where one drawer holds all the 'stash' mods and tanks and juice mixing supplies. I'm about ready to empty the other drawer so I can start stuffing vape related stuff in there as well. It is all dependent on how much my vape stuff overwhelms the open flat space of my home office.

I have about 20 mods on my desk in my home office along with a few tanks and basic rebuilding supplies (full coil master kit, wire, cotton and rayon, etc.).

I also have a couple of mods, all my batteries, a multimeter and a few bottles of juice and a few syringes in our master bathroom.

In the basement, all other supplies.... NIC in the freezer, PG/VG in the fridge.... tanks, flavours, juice and coils in a cabinet and all my misc stuff like replacement glass, RBAs, o-rings and extra bases are in an ammo box.

I have a ton of stuff stockpiled...

    What is in deadly sin?

It is my ADV behind RY2K from Super Charged Heaven. I haven't found a clone for RY2K so I will be trying to make my own version of it based on their description.

    Deadly Sin

A sweet, bakery kind of tobaccoish type vape. A description will never do this one justice. Some flavors are made for each other and blend perfectly. The throat hit is there, the flavor is outstanding, the blend is a 50/50. Will leave your surroundings smelling like fresh baked cookies and cakes! I have been told that this is very similar to a Crispy treat as well as Cinnamon Buns.

Did more organizing and labeling today. I am bored with it and want to be finished. Found I have way too much stuff, must downsize a bit. I think I have 10 Vari's, that may be enough.

    BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!

I used that method for a long time. :) When it got to the point that it took me longer to find the flavors I wanted then to mix them I knew I had to do something different  Ya, I got a lot of flavorings

I ordered a flat of TFA 15mL flavorings after I'd started with a LOT of 8mL bottles. I'd put color-coded labels on the caps based on flavor type. I'd then tried alphabetizing when I had them stored on some make-shift shelves on my old vape hutch. I'm not sure I am bringing the hutch to the basement (one of the shelves didn't get mounted correctly for me to properly close the doors  ) I've since graduated to 30mL or even 120mL bottles of oft-used flavors I still want some sort of shelf or drawer system that can group about 10-15 similar flavors more easily. The drawer unit I got yesterday was too shallow for even the 15mL bottles :p

I didn't even start with tobacco-flavored juices (I had smoked menthols - regular ones just tasted like ASH to me :sneaky: ) However, I've become quite fond of RY4 (Double) - it's caramel/vanilla overrides any "tobacco-y" taste for me. There are a couple of the tobacco flavorings in that TFA flat that just taste like grass/dirt to me, so they've been put aside. I may end up using them when mixing for others, but they won't be in my flavor pallet ;)

Yes that ash taste yucky! Virginia tobacco tastes like grass to me, not a fav. My fav tobacco when I used them was Cumorin pipe tobacco flavor, very melo cured taste. But now I just can't take any tobacco at all. Bakery, fruit and teas are my fav now.
Edit- for RY4 I would use Cumorin for the tobacco base then add the caramel and vanilla to it. It has a nice tobacco flavor that is not ashy or grassy :)

Your stock pile, boxes or tube mods ??? Mine is basically tube mods 14 but I have 5 boxes too.

Made me count, didn't ya? Approximately, 34 tubes and 13 boxes.

I hated boxes until recently. I remember getting a pretty, white Reo years ago and just couldn't get used to the form so I sold it. Tried sidewinders and sold those, also. Finally bought an istick on the classies and started liking them.

I'd tried Deadly Sin last summer. That's what got me to try more RY4D recipes, and I've found I really like them. I also have a Cherry Pipe that uses a Vanilla for Pipe (INW) that so reminds me of my Dad. That's my "tribute" to him :)

Bakery, vanillas, fruits, chocolates are my mainstays. I just recently made a Chai Tea recipe that isn't too bad. I haven't dabbled with the Green Tea flavoring that I have. I hear tell a lot of folks who enjoy Tea flavors.... hrmmmm, guess I'll have to go experimentin'

I can't really taste the tobacco in the RY2K or Deadly Sin since that have so many other sweet flavors in them.

ditto. I love ry4 double and it is what I have been using in my deadly sin clone. I have a 4 ounce bottle of it in my cart for my next flavoring order. I like RY4D so much I use that by itself at 10% in my current 0mg night time juice. It goes great with my bourbon night cap.

since stockpiling ... who has heard the phrase ... just how many of those e-cig things do you need anyway?

usually, always asked by a non-smoker

The other half just rolls her eyes when I get a package delivered. I used to tell her of whatever benefit that the new item had over the older items but I think we both have realized that I just get stuff cause I can. ;)

I'm starting to think that at some level I feel the need to spend whatever I was saving from not smoking as it is some how 'free money'.

When it is all said and done, its rather debatable if I've actually spent less on vaping then I would of smoking. Only time will tell. Like most of us I have stockpiled enough stuff to last a very long time.
