I make hybrid-NETs and it costs $0.03 per ml to make them. Imagine in a couple of years what the cost of retail juice will be after manufacturers begin tacking on the cost of FDA applications/compliance and states impose "tobacco" taxes. Fortunately, those who learned how to DIY and stockpiled nic will still be enjoying $0.03 per ml juice long after others are paying $1.50 or more for the same.... At 7ml a day, for me the difference would be spending $72 a year for juice -VS- $3525 (or more), that's pretty substantial.
Wow, that puts it into perspective. Glad I don't sub-ohm at those prices.

See! This is why this forum helps us all so much, especially now when we have to make long-term decisions based on our best guesses :). If we dont think of soething for ourselves someone else does it for us :D
It has been a huge help! So much I would not have thought of :)

    You are not annoying :)

    Aw thanks

I refuse to even look at the Provape site. A dragon would be nice, but I would rather save up for a Gus. Any day! :p

just received a new GUS mod in the mail yesterday :) their shipping was fast and you gotta love the Warrior of Light  plus I bought a Warrior of Light 18650 tube in the classies this month!
I vote for the GUS :p

Too right guys. Gus is the best, gotta wait till I've saved enough first.

Okay, how much would some of the tootle puffers buy an authentic kayfun lite 5pawns edition for today?
I can only find it on the svoemesto website and it will cost me £70 shipped
Would you say that's too much?
BTW, it has to be authentic.

It is C$170 for an authentic here. So that seems like a good price.

I stopped by a local B&M yesterday. Wanted to see what they had in case face-to-face sales become necessary. I am glad I stocked up! Really nothing that wasn't sub-ohm. And the name-brand juices were all either 3 or 6 mg. House mix juice you could get up to 18 mg but that was pretty limited. I would say if you are a MTL tootle puffer, best to stock up now.

On the positive side, they have their house juices mixed locally in a clean room facility. They knew all about the FDA regs, and support CASAA. So although it's not for me, I think it's a decent shop. Seems they are in it for the long haul.

I really want to try NETs, but does it really taste good? I stayed away from tobacco flavors, because it was hard to stop smoking. But I wonder if thats what I need to have a "perfect vape"

Taste is highly subjective, some people vape NETs exclusively (like me) while others understandably want nothing to do with real tobacco flavors. I make/vape hybrid-Nets exclusively which are NETs that have secondary flavorings added, like vanilla, caramel, rum, peach etc.. For me a vanilla tobacco or caramel tobacco is the bees knees. I spent -years- learning how to make them just so I would be self sufficient and FDA/state tax proof. If a person wanted to try a NET (without learning how to make them) I'd suggest NET.com www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes Clay, the owner, is one of the best NET retailers out there. The bad thing about NETs is they're hard on wicks and coils. This is especially true of retail NETs, you'll be lucky to get 5ml out of a coil head, NETs are best enjoyed using RBAs, just re-wick as needed. If you find they're exactly what you've been looking for and want to learn how to DIY (it's easy), ECF has a sub forum dedicated to exactly that Liquid Extraction From Tobacco

That is what I am thinking, we MTL vapers are pretty much out of luck in today's vape market. Think I'll get another Kayfun just to be safe :)

One of my ADV (Good Life Vapor Deadly Sin) cost me about $57 after sales tax for 120ml. I can make a clone (3 flavors and a few drops of sweetener) for under $4.
Same with me. Even paying a lot of $$$ in Canada for NIC (about $70 US/litre) and flavours ($10 US/60ml) and also more for PG/VG, my DIY costs me no more than $1.25 US/30ml.

The last 120ml I made was under $5 and the last 120ml I bought (Cuttwood Boss Reserve) was $60. HUGE difference.

I am very glad I am well stocked up. I can go for about 5 years before I had to think about rebuilding anything.

Very true, really good restricted draw MTL attys are rare. There's been very little innovation in this area since the Kayfun although there are threads that discuss MTL attys in great detail. There were several newer attys people seemed quite pleased with but I can't remember the names... I no longer inhale MTL but used to, still have all my old gear, Kayfuns included. :)

I'm thinking of getting another V5 myself. Cleaned and organized my stock last night (had to expand) so now I got room for stuff. :D

I had a vape budget to keep up which were about half of what the cost of smoking was. Spent up to 100 dollars a month on this and that for 2 1/2 years raising wife's suspicion that I spent more than when I did smoke.
I would say I am very well stocked with everything and nowadays spend less than 1/4 of the cost of smoking. It will be interesting to see how much I spend in the coming months as I believe some months, I will not buy anything at all.
Wife can not complain if I start spend on fishing gear.............

Let me tell you.... that was NO fun. When your OCD and need to organize something..... well those who have OCD will know what I mean. I don't have it severe, but certain things need to be just so with me. Haven't shopped for a while because my stuff was overflowing and didn't want to expand, but finally broke down and did it.

Good job! For myself I had to get things sorted and in boxes with labels, once that was done I felt so much better :)
