Taste is highly subjective, some people vape NETs exclusively (like me) while others understandably want nothing to do with real tobacco flavors. I make/vape hybrid-Nets exclusively which are NETs that have secondary flavorings added, like vanilla, caramel, rum, peach etc.. For me a vanilla tobacco or caramel tobacco is the bees knees. I spent -years- learning how to make them just so I would be self sufficient and FDA/state tax proof. If a person wanted to try a NET (without learning how to make them) I'd suggest NET.com www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes Clay, the owner, is one of the best NET retailers out there. The bad thing about NETs is they're hard on wicks and coils. This is especially true of retail NETs, you'll be lucky to get 5ml out of a coil head, NETs are best enjoyed using RBAs, just re-wick as needed. If you find they're exactly what you've been looking for and want to learn how to DIY (it's easy), ECF has a sub forum dedicated to exactly that Liquid Extraction From Tobacco

Thanks so much for posting this link. I always like a good tobacco flavor. I will order a few and if I like them I will look into NET DIY. I learn so much here.

I'm thinking of getting another V5 myself. Cleaned and organized my stock last night (had to expand) so now I got room for stuff. :D

My V5 should arrive tomorrow. I like a somewhat airy draw and hope I will like it. I have watched many reviews and can't wait to get it. I hopefully will be ordering another as a backup.

I don't know exactly how to describe the type of vaper I am. I think perhaps heavy MTL would describe it. I like lots of vapor but I hold in in my mouth and just inhale a little. That is also how I smoked. Maybe we need a new classification? LOL

Thanks all love this thread.

I find that I enjoy a lot of the sub ohm tanks even though I MTL. I like a bit more air in my vape than some of the MTL tanks offer and just close down the AFC.

Yep that describes me exactly. I like to MTL with sub Ω tanks. LOL

But is that the same as a tootie puffer. I am so confused. :)

I agreed fozzy but I've gone through 20/30/50/75/80/150 & 200 watt mods. I've got 10 drippers and 30 dl tanks.
After going through 7 18650s a day and 20-25 ml of juice I thought this is so ridiculous it's becoming a nuisance dripping every 2 min all day.
Then I ordered some mtl clones. Disappointing, everyone.
I then bought an authentic kayfun lite 6 months ago for £50.
The best move I've ever made (vape related). I upped my nic to 12 from 3 mg. I go through 1 18650 now and 5 ml of juice, tops.
Decent vapor at 1.1 on my mech and man, flavour! Ha.
Juice never tasted so good. More satisfying for me. Now I just buy authentic high end gear. It is too much money but I can see why all dl tanks are 2 a penny. Authentic drippers on the other hand. hmm. got a vector the other day for £50. Nice.
For me, nice to use both.

Good news for you if you still want to get some use out of those DL tanks. You went from about 60 mg of nic a day to... Wait for it... 60 mg of nic a day.

If you DIY it wouldn't be much of a cost difference.

This is interesting. My take on it (someone will surely correct me if I am wrong) is that it doesn't matter what you use or what the watts are, it is the technique that makes it mouth, mtl or dl. Most people can't/won't do dl with low ohms because of the coughing (me included). But if that works for you, you are still doing dl if you take it directly into your lungs. Yes, you can probably do a combination of all of these and if you use different setups, it is the technique on each one.

Yeah I DIY. I consume about 10p a day or something like that. Either way it's not expensive.
It's just one I find enjoyable. The other is cool, but less so, For now. I chop and change a lot though so maybe I'll find the same tanks that every man and his dog has enjoyable once more.
Who knows. At least they both work.

Remember as well. Even if vaping cost me more than cigs, I'd still vape.
my health has an incredibly large purse on its head.

Edit. Also, nic is not a problem. This hobby is harm reduction, not elimination.
fresh air is the best thing you can inhale. From this it's obvious to assume that vaping 4X less glycerin a day is probably healthier than consuming 4X more.

Oh, you sounded like you missed DL in your post. Then again I have no love for MTL anymore and I want to try out this Kayfun 3 every time you guys talk about it.

Definitely not concerned with my VG intake. I bet when the studies are all done in 100 years they'll find out that dry hits are the most harmful risk associated with vaping... And still 95% safer than cigs.

Last time I looked Clay's selection was huge, many different types of NETs to choose from but he does a good job accurately describing each. Before ordering you might want to check out this thread, it's where NET fans hang out discussing/reviewing retail NETs Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Hmmm, maybe I need to try that too. I have a couple of sub ohm tanks but I didnt know you can MTL with them.

Ok. Na, i have the 5. The 5 is dl. I paid £100 for it. Hmm.
A waste until I got the reducer. So airy :(. A tank that sits in the box while I use my lite which was half the price. Nice to access your build but to be honest. I don't need it.

Your probably right. Ok, a few more for you.
When I was dripping I occasionally dripped a drop of juice on my clothes.
It's hard work getting my stained clothes nice and fresh.

Carrying bottles of juice is a nightmare.

Spare batteries. Ridiculous. I had to carry 4 of those plastic boxes when going out for the whole day.

Stressing your batteries regular as clockwork with subbing shortens the life of them.

Having to be around your charger for at least 8 hours a day was... Well...

Carrying a dual box was necessary. Too large for all the time.

I could probably think of a few more if you want. :)

That is what I found when trying DL hits, it was too intense in my lungs and actually hurt, plus not relaxing. I vape to relax so MTL is my fav way to vape :)

I can't handle the airflow myself. I have what I have and am sticking to it. I have tried a few tanks. I got some recommendations and bought one of each to try. The one that worked best for me was the Kayfun V4.

I like the mechanical airflow control and lots of parts.

And to me that is they way it is suppose to be. All of these different 'type' of vapers is distressing to me. When we smoked, we were just classified as 'smokers'. Now as vapers, yes classified again, but to have different distinctions of to what type of vapers we are is really out there. We never had 'styles' when we smoked, so I see this as no different. Can't we all just be vapers and be happy about it?

I guess the difference in vaping styles is more like the differences in smoking /tobacco use styles, pipe vs cigarette and cigar vs chew as they are all a bit different. That's how I look at it :)
