This was my 2nd ecig, the Phoenix, from Truesmoker. Before I got on the 510 train. Kind of wish I had kept it. It is a wonder some of us quit using the cigalikes but we did, yay.

I still have my Dragon kit- was my second kit as well, but I never did use it. I have it packed away. These were so pretty for the times. Kinda wish I'd gotten the Phoenix as well. I think they would be good candidates for the vaping museum.

I am in VA west of DC- we never seem to get much from hurricanes, and storms that approach from the west split as they are approaching my town and go north and south of us, lol. We have it pretty good. Everyone in the hurricane's path, take care!

It's my 6th vaping anniversary tomorrow. Reflecting back a little today it feels like I've been vaping a long time and that's a good feeling. My 35+ years of smoking seem like a very very long time ago. ECF and all the wonderful friends I've made along the way have made it a fun journey and I'm very grateful to all of you for that. THANK YOU !!!!

Stupid question: do Picos take flat-top or nipple batteries? I've looked everywhere I could think of for the answer & I must be missing it.

Thanks everyone for all the congrats on my vaping anniversary.

I've decided that in honor of the day, I'm going to spend the day with all old school stuff

First I'm going to pull out my original Joyetech 510 (yes I still have it and yes it does still hold a charge ) and see if I can find an old cart and filler and vape the same way I did that first day Later on I plan to move onto an Ego and dripping on a 510 atty. I'm also planning on using my Roughstack mod and if I can find it, my 14500 battery box mod. All stuff I used my first 3 months of vaping.

Post pics if you can. I love looking at all the old stuff.

I just realized this month is my 5 yr vape anniversary for being smoke free. Boy time sure flies by! I quit with a Halo G6 808 and Tribeca. I started vaping in 2009 but could not quit with the 3 piece units. One was an EPuffer and another Clouds Of something. Tried Red Dragons, they had Cartos but filling tasted like old socks and old newspaper. Yuck! So it wasn't until I got Halo's I could actually quit.

Things were SO expensive back then!

Yea, I am afraind that I would be looking very hard at how to quit vaping if the prices were still that high.

They do take button tops. That's all I've used in all three of mine, and they work just fine! I did the same thing looking all over to try to find the recommended battery. They specify 18650, but don't specify flat or button top. I have all button tops and didn't want to buy flat just for the Pico.

Good morning,Semi My quit date was actually June 1st 2010 but I didn't join the forum til Sept.

While I joined ECF in September it was to find a proper ecig - I did not like what was offered in the mall or the gas stations, so my actual quit date was in Feb 2012.

It took me almost 5 months to get off those last few cigs. The ones in the morning and after meals were so hard to quit. Had to kick up my nic levels to do so.

But it is also what got me into DIY so I could control what I was vaping better. I was waking up in the morning back then with very high nic and then took it down after breakfast and always hit a few higher puffs after meals to get past those urges...

But the effort was all worth it...

If vaping costs had taken the opposite approach than prices going down over time you would of paid a lot more... Imagine if a cigalike had stayed at $100 for a starter kit - that would mean that your Kayfun could have gone for what - $500...

The kits they sold in the mall were generally $100 but as time went on they dropped - they dropped enough that you don't see vaping kiosk as much as you used to - profit drops - we don't have any in our malls anymore.

You got two batts and maybe 5 sealed carts - sometimes the charger was extra and sometimes it came with it...
