They do take button tops. That's all I've used in all three of mine, and they work just fine! I did the same thing looking all over to try to find the recommended battery. They specify 18650, but don't specify flat or button top. I have all button tops and didn't want to buy flat just for the Pico.
Glad to hear it because I have a button top one but didnt even want to try it unless I knew it's ok and I didnt want to buy a single thing this month. My CC needs a rest :D

This was my 2nd ecig, the Phoenix, from Truesmoker. Before I got on the 510 train. Kind of wish I had kept it. It is a wonder some of us quit using the cigalikes but we did, yay.

I still have my Dragon kit- was my second kit as well, but I never did use it. I have it packed away. These were so pretty for the times. Kinda wish I'd gotten the Phoenix as well. I think they would be good candidates for the vaping museum.
I saw some cute little kits like those soon after I quit. I really fought the urge to buy them. I knew what I was using was better than that older stuff. But, they were so cute!
What was the difference? I don't even remember two versions.
The V1 was painted. The V2 was anodized and allowed for slightly lower resistance atties.
I just realized this month is my 5 yr vape anniversary for being smoke free. Boy time sure flies by! I quit with a Halo G6 808 and Tribeca. I started vaping in 2009 but could not quit with the 3 piece units. One was an EPuffer and another Clouds Of something. Tried Red Dragons, they had Cartos but filling tasted like old socks and old newspaper. Yuck! So it wasn't until I got Halo's I could actually quit.
Congratulations! Happy 5th!

It's my 6th vaping anniversary tomorrow.:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: Reflecting back a little today it feels like I've been vaping a long time and that's a good feeling. :) My 35+ years of smoking seem like a very very long time ago. ECF and all the wonderful friends I've made along the way have made it a fun journey and I'm very grateful to all of you for that. THANK YOU !!!!

Mine too... lol.
my cards are begging for mercy, time to take a break for a month or two if I can force myself to not take advantage of these labor day sales. I want more flavors but realized I have plenty of juice and flavors on hand to keep me vaping happily for quite a while so I will have to pass on the extra 9% off over the standard 6% flavor discounts while my credit cards recover.

I'm really surprised I never see anyone talking about starting with these. I bought them 4 years ago and never touched another cig since that first day. After 45 years. My wife is still amazed.
    Maybe they're regional?

Never heard of these but then, I never shopped at local places, have always bought online for vape stuff.

I am in VA west of DC- we never seem to get much from hurricanes, and storms that approach from the west split as they are approaching my town and go north and south of us, lol. We have it pretty good. Everyone in the hurricane's path, take care!
Which color do you have? I wanted the blue Dragon so much but could only get one at the time (I had restraint, lol)

Post pics if you can. I love looking at all the old stuff.
Me too, I love seeing how far we have come and what others used along the way.

The kits they sold in the mall were generally $100 but as time went on they dropped - they dropped enough that you don't see vaping kiosk as much as you used to - profit drops - we don't have any in our malls anymore.

You got two batts and maybe 5 sealed carts - sometimes the charger was extra and sometimes it came with it...
I avoided the mall ones but when I started most kits like you describe were almost 100.00 no matter where you got them. I remember how excited we all were when Cignot started selling the 510 kits for 35.00. It was a steal.

I saw some cute little kits like those soon after I quit. I really fought the urge to buy them. I knew what I was using was better than that older stuff. But, they were so cute!

lol, I didn't even realize they were different versions but I had both, a lue, a pink and the anodized.

I guess it depends on where you shop. I just bought a kayfun lite 5 pawns edition and a GP paps V4. £180
Got the kayfun, paps should be here today

    Not that cheap

I am still working off my smoking budget. I would have spent that or more in a month. So in comparison that is cheap.

I am worrying about my son/family, they live near Orlando.

They should be fine, because Orlando is even further away...more East of the hurricane's path, than I am. We've had lots of rain from the trailing bands of storms as they pass over us. Then it's just light sprinkles & very calm winds. Steady winds have been no higher than just 10-15mph for short periods of time, with gusts every now and then of only about 40-45mph.

MUCH better than Charlie, Frances, & Jeanne that had a bulls-eye on us in 2004. Got directly nailed by all 3 of them. Had 135mph winds in my barnyard with Charlie, 9 good-sized trees down, and no elec. for 8 days! Frances - only limbs down and no elec. for 5 days. Jeanne - more limbs down and no elec. for 4 days.

So...Hermine for us, and most likely for your son & family... has been more like a regular FL storm, just lasting longer is all.

Happy to hear it wasn't too bad for you. :)

    Thanks!
The most damage from this one is for those living along the west coast of FL, from Tampa north...because of the storm surge. In some places it was between 4-8', while in others 5-11' above normal tide level. I feel sorry for those people, but luckily, so far...only property damage, no loss of lives have been reported.

Seriously, there's nothing else I can even *think* of that I want, , let alone need.
Really, just glad to be done, and I've very please with my "stash", and vaping better than I ever have.

Also, sooooooo glad to hear everyone checking in that all is well.
Has everyone from that area check in and are pretty much accounted for (that we know of)?
