Hubby just finished restoring a 1948 Gibson. When he got it it looked like a pile of rust. This is it now. The only parts that needed to be replaced were the carburetor and the brake bands. They don't make things to last like that any more.

I am afraid most of my vape gear won't last as long but I am very careful with mine so expect it to last as long as I need it to. BTW:That tractor and I were made the same year :D

edited to correct a mistake: Hubby said it is a 1946 model so it has a couple of years on me :D
Nice!!!

I bought some new flavours... Cinnamon Danish (CAP), cinnamon sugar cookie (TFA), blueberry (TFA) and glazed doughnut (TFA).

For the first time in months, I am excited to try something other than Apple pie, green tea ice cream, grape candy, vanilla custard and strawberry cream. My wife actually did some research and sent me over a dozen recipes she wants to try out. :thumb:

These arrive this week with about a litre of our ADV flavours.... Grape candy, sweet strawberry, vanilla custard and cotton candy.
Have fun! Always nice to try new flavors :)

I have been doing the DIY thing since late last year but seem to be stuck makng the same 4-5 juices over and over and..... Time to mix it up! :thumb:

Try to find 8 - 10 of your favorite flavors that can be intermixed in almost any method - then you will have an almost unlimited variation that you can adjust on a whim. I have quite a few that if I get bored as I am vaping the 120 ml bottle - I just add a few drops of something else - shake it up and keep on vaping...

I took apart one of my batts for my cordless drill - buncha 18490's

What brand drill is that?

Button top? Wrapped I would imagine, right?

I have wondered about the cordless drills, what size batteries were inside, glad you posted that.
My Ryobi use 18650 and what I know many other brands such as Makita, Bosch and so on also use these.

Same with me. I tried DIY months ago and my juices came out yucky. I didn't really know what I was doing so this time I got flavors I like and follow recipes and a couple clones of juices I like. So far so good even if it's just a handful of mixes right now.

It was an old Craftsman - no telling who made it for them... The drill was probably 15 years old???

Aha, not a common one I assume since those small batteries does not have that much power like 18650's not to speak of the CDR (continuous discharge rate).

Naw this was back before they came up with voltages above 18v...

Anyone rather new to DIY, I really suggest some of these great flavors blends too, just add it to your unflavored juice, shake and vape :) It is what got me back to loving DIY. I tried back in 2011-2012 and I did not love my juices, they were all kind of blaaa, so went back to buying juice. Now I can't even think about buying juice since I like my DIY so much :)

Where do you get those blends? My mixes I like use creams and yogurts so those need to be steeped. I haven't found a juice I can shake and vape yet. I do have some grape flavor and mandarin so may try those in a shake and vape single flavor.

I do like trying new things, but I have tried hundreds of juices and know what I like to vape all day, so I stick to my favorite 4-5 DIYs. I still have boxes full of sample bottles in my basement and unless it is some kind of dessert type juice, I can't vape it for long. I will buy stuff like Boss Reserve, Mother's Milk, Castle Long, Unicorn Milk, etc. for a treat from time to time though when I am in the US

I will expand past strawberry to include blueberry, cranberry and raspberry (yup, I am a wildman!) for my juices (all with custard or vanilla bean ice cream bases) but my wife is only vaping grape candy and really needs something new. We plan to make a bunch of doughnut/cinnamon bun with fruit kinda stuff, which I am looking forward to. :thumb:

Quite a few blends out there, some are at OSDIYS, Blueberry blend, lucky shot, latta latte, etc. Real Flavors has Samoa Cookie, bread pudding, cherry pie, apple pie, etc. FW has Reindeer poop LOL apple crumb pie, banana cream, etc. FA had Red Velvet cake and others. They are blended flavors, their are a bunch of them, just start cruising the flavor vendors sites. I saw one for cinnamon caramel roll, that sounded good!

I find the OSDIY and RF blends (RAW and VG both) still get better with some steeping time but none of mine have really made it past 2 weeks before I decide if I am going to make a bigger batch. My 20ml tester of RF RAW Pumpkin Pie had >5ml dripped out of it for testing over 2 weeks then I decided to mix it up. I figured if I kept going to that tester bottle that often, out of the 15 or so testers I had made over the past couple weeks, it must be good enough for a big batch.*

*Edit to add: I also wanted a big bottle of properly steeped pumpkin pie ready before Halloween that would hopefully last me thru turkey day :D
