Mine is the epitome of hypocrisy.
I actually feel sorry for him because beneath the veneer, he's a very unhappy, insecure little (literally and figuratively) man.
I find that the most miserable people we run into and the meanest and the ones that criticize us for everything, have a train wreck of a life and they want to share their misery and dump it on us. Sadly they think anyone cares to share that!!! They can be as miserable as they want but leave me out of it! I have walked out on jobs because the stress just was not worth it. Give me peace and quiet and no screaming abuse, some people are just really miserable messes.the woman that caught me vaping and was literally responsible for my demise is one of the most vindictive, nasty, down right rotten people i have ever met. if i saw her in public (i hope i never do) i would flat out call her what she is and tell her where to go. she was a manager but not directly my boss. my own boss would frequently do as he pleased. he would come to work, work 5 hours leave us with 12-13 hours of work..... good luck im going home he would say. he would frequently work 30 hours per week and get paid for 40. that's nothing short of wage theft. he is paid for 40+ hours to be spent at work.... that's what salary is. they put people on salary so they dont have to pay overtime, not so the people can work less then required and get paid for not being there. he also told me to seek nicotine addiction consoling. i remember before they started changing the policies about vaping/smoking i showed up to work was in the breakroom before being clocked in. he pointed to my jacket pocket and said we need to talk about that you cant do that anymore here. whatever. 3 weeks later he told me to seek nicotine addiction consoling. i told him to pound salt. they made a "compromise" and told me to go to the car. 6 months later it was leave the property.
my boss also have a tendency to scream at me. once he screamed at me and later i went to him politely. i told him that he made me feel like crap and i didnt care for it. he said he did not care which further upset me. i was just so upset about the whole thing. i refused to talk to him for a month.
the general manager was another jerk. several times he told me he did not like the sugar in my lipton iced tea and he did not like my diet. i told him to mind his own business. he was also on salary and would frequently show up two or three days out of the week and work even less then my boss. way over paid for the amount of time he was there. he had a mentality that he needed to control people far above and beyond things that effected job performance.
as bad as some bosses can be, there are always worse. i doubt there is much worse then where i came from.

Don't forget that ecf has a DIY Forum, maybe you should provide that link in the future also to your text? Before you start actually buying things for DIY...here's a few suggestions that should help you decide what to buy, save some $$, and have a better chance at succeeding with DIY:
*Figure out how many liters of Nic base you'll need for as many years as you plan to vape. There are websites that you can input the nic mg that you vape, the number of mLs per day you use, and how long you plan to vape. It'll show you exactly how many liters to buy.
*Read up on the 3 measuring methods, and the supplies needed for each, that people use when DIYing (by volume, by weight, & by drops). That way you'll know exactly what to buy when the time comes.
*Start browsing eliquid recipes to find several you'd like to make. By doing that, you can also see that there's different types of flavorings usually necessary to make most eliquids, not just any flavorings. That way when it's time to buy flavorings...you'll know exactly which ones to buy to make those recipes. You won't just pick a bunch that sound good to you, and then later wonder, "OK, now what can I make with these?" That's actually the backwards way and wastes $$ and usually causes frustration.
When you DO start actually buying things for DIY then...get your Nic base first to stash in the freezer for longterm storage. That's the most important necessity so you can DIY in the future. No one knows at this point, and with all the FDA garbage and states beginning to heavily tax vape related items...if nic base will even be available for the everyday person to buy, not only in the near future, but beyond that. Also possible, even if it is available...is that prices will sharply increase, that it'll be highly taxed, and might even mean some sort of requirements have to be met to buy it!
I did the above things that others suggested to me before I started DIY. (Except then, stashing a lifelong supply of Nic wasn't necessary like now). It really made getting into DIY much easier for me, saved me a bunch of money, and I haven't made any "flush-worthy" eliquids yet!
Way long time ago, I was a boss. I only hired people that I liked and I treated them as people that I liked. I had very little turnover and always had people who wanted to work in my department. It was kind of like a movement, quality people, quality work. They knew the job or they would not have been there. They didn't need me breathing down their necks.
It was a Respiratory Therapy Department, a 24/7 department in a rural regional medical center, and I worked 3-11 every other weekend. I needed to have a feel for what was the real work. It let people have more quality time off to be with family or out on the town. It also kept my skills current. How do you know what the job is like if you don't do it, things change over time.
Scream or speak of diet? My goodness!
must have not been too bad working for you. i have had more arrogant jerks for bosses then kind bosses, however my last boss...... they were in a league of their own. i hope i never have to work for anyone like that again.

Btw, am I seeing things or have you slightly changed your avi for a new rose?
Total? Probably around 100. Only have 19 Vari's though, still behind WillyZee
Yes, you are correct. I changed my avi to a pic from my birthday bouquet.
Thanks, it is a vibrant orange. Surprised me because my son (typical male) always gets red roses. Since he recently moved to FL, he had his stepdaughter get the roses and voila, I got orange which is one of my fav colors.Your rose is beautiful Rose![]()

Funny, I have all sorts of modern tanks+mods and I'm still happily "toodle puffing" on a EVOD-1. (sigh)
Off topic:
I'm sorry to hear that the ACA has not worked out for everyone. I recall more than one job+health care I'd had in the past that decided not to cover "pre-existing condition" and I had to pony up out of my own pocket for 6mos in one case and 18mos in another.
Thankfully the "preexisting condition" was a thing of the past when I was diagnosed with Stage4 Cancer a whole whopping 3mos after starting a new job and health plan. Looking at the records Kaiser spent over $30K on me that first year. They still spend $6-10K on me every year. I'm "incurable" so those costs keep coming and going up as the Cancer progresses. I'll be on some budget crushing treatment for the rest of my life.
While I hear the ACA is a royal PITA for many, I count it as not only saving my life but keeping me alive these 30mo's after diagnosis.
I'll now return you to our regularly scheduled hording...
