I don't expect anything to last forever incuding the stockpile. My target is 10 years and a chance of going to 20. I don't expect an Evic Basic to last longer than may be a couple of battery swaps and may be a fire button or two and it won't be part of the official stash, just a fun peice for as long as it lasts. If it turns out to be important I can always get a couple of them but they will be for occaisional use, not the daily driver.
I'm estimating a Pico can tolerate 2 years of continuous use. If I'm right 5 of them should go 10 years. In case I'm wrong I have a redundant supply of 5 VT2 mini's. I'm hoping frozen nic will go 10 years but if the batch spoils there is a redundant 10 year supply from a different vendor. If they are both good may be I'm good for 20 years.
The only atomizer I use is an SV rda clone from FT. For $7 each I got 10 but with replacement insulators and orings one might last for 10 years. I used to rebuild once a week but with a low percent flavoring my builds are going longer and longer which preserves the threading on the lead posts. I preserve 510 connectors by leaving the atomozer attached and not swaping them around. I keep my mods in silicone sleeves in use partly because I believe it will prolong service life.
The stash (10 atomizers, 10 mods, 5 liters of nic, $650)) is separate from what I use day to day. If I need to take anything from it I'll try to restock before the axe falls. If I learn during the next 2 years that something isn't holding up as expected I'll try to adjust the stash. Product is still available. The seige hasn't started yet.
I still need more nic base but I'm waiting on a sale somewhere. I have a cart ready at Fasttech for the Sunday sale so I guess I'm not done yet.
50 dollars a liter is what seems to be the going rate for now. You can even find it between $40-$45 at a few places.I really don't see it going any lower than that,if anything,the price will start to rise.

I settled on this rda because the single hole barrel works for MTL, I can prevent leaking for pocket carry with a tall slip ring, it's good at picking up the low flavor % I prefer, it's short, and it's not expensive. I modify it with a wide bore drip tip to drip through. I have a size run of o-rings so I can fine tune the tightness of the barrel on the base. Single horizontal coils build fine on it even though the posts are vertical.
The resin drip tip I prefer is surprisingly expensive but it appears to be machined, not molded. I think so highly of them I'm stocking one for each SV.
P.S. And here is the slip ring I use to stop leaking through the air supply.

Just purchased a Nemmy clone. I have one mech already and felt I needed at least one more for my stockpile and thought the Nemesis would be a good choice because I can get magnet switches for it and a kick will fit it. I don't plan on using mechs, but have to have a couple things that are not circuitry dependent in the stash.
Is there anything you haven't bought because of a high price but would if cost was no object? I think mine be a Procyon titanium, but no way at current prices

I just went poking around for Ephro Kayfun lite V2 and seems most everyone is out of stock but can still be found on ebay for around $15-$22 but they are getting hard to find.
