I figured that in the 5 yrs I quit smoking, I would have spent over $14,500 in cigarettes. I have spent no were near that on vape supplies in 5 yrs even stocking up, so I am way ahead of the cost off smoking for 5 years :) that is why I have not even flinched at stocking up costs, it is a drop in the bucket :) Especially stocking up for the rest of my life and if a friend or family member is in need in the future.

I take the long term view. I do keep an eye on what I have spent stocking up but that will be amortized over 20 years. I can vape for the next year without spending a cent. Next year I will need flavors if I want flavors and PG. The year after I may need some batteries as well.

All I am buying now is things I want but don't need and adding to my stock of coils.

2 1/2 days on a dual mod??? You forgot to mention that you have 8 mods in daily rotation.......did you not?
My Reuleaux with 3 X 3,000 mah batteries last me only a few hours vaping at 70W. I am probably doing something wrong here......
Haha,i do use 2 mods in the evening, but my main one is used probably 85% of the time, and usually lasts 2 1/2 days,at the least it will go 2 days, and that is using it as the only mod all during the day, then most of the evening.I think the big difference though is probably different styles of vaping.I normally stay right at 45 watts and only go through 4-5ml of juice a day.

I use the wider labels for my bottles and the narrow ones for labeling what flavor is in my toppers. I love my little machine :D

I dug my Brother Label maker out to label what build I have in my tanks. To many tanks, wire types and builds to keep track of. Hence the label maker. I put the wire type, TCR and tested ohms when built on the label.

My problem is the "now what/what's next" mentality that I have always had...

I bought a few great mods, then focused on tanks. Gotta try dripping, so buy a few of those. Need tons of wire too. Let's do DIY juice and buy lots of flavors and NIC. Ooohhh... Provaris are on sale, need some of those. Stock up on replacement parts for tanks. Remember I love mechs, let's go crazy on those. Oh, sqonking looks cool, let's try that, etc.

My wife and I were spending about $7k/yr on smoking but this year I likely spent close to that. Next year, I will save $$$. How do I know that? Because there is really nothing left for me to try/buy!

    Go away. :p

I ordered a couple of Coppervape mods to try out. Won't have them for a month or so though. Cheap and if I'm not a fan of sqonking, I won't be sitting on expensive mods.

Another vaping business is closing & having a Store Closing Sale. Husband and wife own this one, based in Boynton Beach, FL. There are no mods left, but they do have other things at 50% more off even their sale and clearance prices.

I got a bunch of smaller stuff online Saturday, and it was only $22.11. (3) PT3 Minis, (3) plastic battery storage boxes, (2) thread adapters, (6) 5' long USB/Micro Charging Cables, (12) 3mL & 5mL syringes with blunt needle tips, a few lanyards for larger tube mods, etc.)

Here's a couple links to see some stuff still left. There's definitely more, but wanted to show quick links to a couple categories & prices. Remember...take 50% more off the lowest prices shown.

    Replacement Coil Heads & Wicks

    Rebuildable and Standard 510 Atomizers

Edit: Forgot...they also have a large variety of the silicone covers for mods, even that RX200 some of you were buying...most for $1.00 each; many different drip tips; replacement glass, etc., etc.

That is the hard part, trying everything ! LOL I limited myself to basically MTL so passed the sub ohm stuff. I stocked up on old school for the most part. I did get a few newer things like Radius and Serpent mini and Merlin, Avocado RTA's. Haven't tried those tanks yet, saving them for later when I need to play with new things during the dark ages :)

Going old school was the wise choice.

Proven record of reliability, spare parts availabiliy, plenty of people who used them and worthwhile reviews and recommendations, less expensive than the latest and greatest. Especially if you get quality 1:1 clones.

I placed my last FT orders early this morning. After I was done I made a list of the things I've ordered since 8/8 when I "could" have been done. 3 orders at two different US vendors and 3 China orders from two different places. No large expensive orders, just smaller orders to fill in some weak spots in my stash. Even though I could have lived without those orders I'm happy I did them.

When I "could" have been done on 8/8 I remember still not being terribly comfortable about not placing anymore orders. Today I'm very happy about being done and kind of excited about simply living off what I have from now on. :):)

If I won lots of money at the casino in the future the only thing I'd buy myself is one more Reo as a special present to myself, but I don't see that being very likely. ;) I do need to place a battery order when RTD hopefully has their annual Black Friday sale, but that's not stocking up, just a regular maintenance purchase I'll be making every year or other year. ;)

I was amazed how much Kayfun stuff was out there for parts, I have a box filled with just parts, bell caps, extra bases etc.

We should all start a list of tried and true Kayfun parts that actually are worth stocking up on. Most of the parts I have bought have been great, but there are lots of duds or parts that really don't fit certain KFs.

I know there have been a few, but nothing like "this tank sucks as it isn't threaded", "need to order a smaller chimney too", etc.
