Those 2 dates have me torn this year.I want to save my weekly budget back for Black friday sales,but at the same time,i have at least 3 orders i still need to make from China,and because of the 12/31 deadline and not knowing exactly how it will effect us,i think i need to get those orders put in to make sure they get here before any possible problems come up.The few things i was planning to look for on BF will still be available mid December,so i will probably just get those after that.
I had 1 do the same a few weeks back.I had 3 total all go through the same time,and that 1 sat there for 2 weeks with no movement.I thought for sure it got pulled for inspection,but when i finally got it,it had never been messed with at all,weird how they do stuff there for no apparent reason....also, it was a small padded envelope that wasn't ever opened.
I figured it had gotten pulled for inspection too, but guess not.
Prob no rhyme or reason to the delays.
I'm imagine if we knew how the whole process worked and how many things have to go through customs, I'm sure it would make our heads swim.

My latest package from Steam Crave (last week from China) arrived opened but complete. Crappy thin bag with no padding but nothing was broken or missing.
I pushed the button on my last of my nine precious mods! I really can't buy any more. Still have 2 RBA's coming, excited about a special one, and meh on the other. The last is on a slow boat from China, it's only for the vape apocalypse. So I am done stocking up on mods and tanks! Now for wire, coils, wicks, and diy juice supplies. Somehow I don't feel any more secure now

This was how I read the notice I posted as well, as confusing as they worded it. I got all kinds of mixed signals on the way about too, SW flight.
Ended up in screw it mode and said "I could buy batteries when I land and have them faster than if I ship these today" and took all my daily rotators as well. (2) tanks off in an old ego case. RX200 with (3) batts, Vaporesso Tarot 200W with (2) batts, an Encom voidray, a Kbox mini, an iStick 50W, and a spare HG2 in a battery condom just to see if it made it through. They didn't even blink, I picked it all up on the other side like it was no big deal, and this was Reno not some huge airport that sees major traffic. Even asked the lady at check in about the spare li-ion batt with the condom and she said "as long as you keep it in that condom so it can't short out it should be fine." Little restored faith in humanity moment right there.
Dude's announcing all over the intercoms in the terminal that Samsung Galaxy 7's and lithium ion batteries are banned from the flight and I'm walking around with (10) total if you count the 2 that I think are in the Istick 50W. What a world we live in.
Sure is nice to be home. Dad and I got the basement pretty foggy most of the time. I'll post more about our DIY and further stocking efforts soon. He's behind and said tonight he has some cash now and wants to catch up. I'm like "well you've basically got one of everything to try." Already traded him one of those (4) Pico's I ordered for the 3 batteries he bought for my RX200. He's digging it.

I really LOVE the istick Pico. I actually prefer it over The eVic VTC Mini, and that was my go to mod for a while. The Pico iz so darn pocket friendly, and better designed so that if the battery vents the gasses will be vented away from your face than toward it!

Yep, we read it the same! Glad your stuff all breezed through too, like everything I took with me - no questioning, no inspections, nothing removed. Happy for you, for that sigh of relief...and for being back home with your family. You know, by the way, that we're ALL going to be waiting for news of how it goes with the GF, now that you're back.
Oh and yeah my clothes are still rolled up from the flight and scattered in luggage, but every piece of vape gear I have is neatly organized in a cabinet we cleaned out. I'm anxiously waiting a lot in transit.

Thanks JC! It sure is I feel 10x better already, especially when I open my vape cabinet. I'll take a picture when it's filled even though my stock isn't quite up to par. So many good pics from Dad's stash coming, he's kept EVERYTHING E-cig for 5-6 years. He has the original kit I bought him for Father's Day that started all this. Had steak, green beans and a baked potato for dinner last night, probably the first square home cooked meal I've had in a year.
Also yeah Two Bear I watched Dad use and love and talk about that Pico all night last night and that was it, I opened a black one this morning and popped it together. I see what all the fuss was about, this thing was built to have an STM attached and in your pocket. Dad claims it uses less battery than the Kbox Mini, which we both said probably has the same board last night... we're both a little confused about this claim. Either way if I see them for $20 again I'm getting 4 more.
Well if that's the case on the GF part you are all going to have to be in holding with me. She's going through a lot right now, think I touched on some of that, but she's quitting drinking and dealing with the issues that led to her drinking and cut contact with me for now. Think the pressure of me showing up expecting a relationship she promised and wants but isn't quite ready for was weighing on her, I made a small mistake which is part of the reason she cut contact but we've been through 10x worse. So... this heart waits, which is basically our M.O. for 15 years already so it's really not even a big deal. We're both doing a lot of work on ourselves right now, can't wait till the new her and I meet.

Yes the Pico is fantastic! Works great with a short Kayfun too.
You can use 23 mm and smaller attys on the Pico. 24 mm and larger attys will not fit.

The Pico does work well with a short KFL. Here is one beside a Provari in 18500 mode for comparison.
That's AOK with me I ordered that never expecting to put anything but a 22mm or smaller tank on it. I have (so far) 3 RX200's and a 2 Batt that do just fine, and a kbox mini would take one 25mm in a vapolcalypse pinch.
Oh and yeah I'm totally bringing this thread back, would like help, but you probably couldn't really stop me. There's still stocking to be done in this house and people that were penny pinching aren't at the moment.
Bring on those deal links folks! Griffin 25's, Pico's, STM's, RX??? all kinds, batteries, VG, freezers, and both of us could easily be talked into a Lost Vape device if the price is right.
