Are you done stocking up?

I chose a 20 year stock up plan when I decided not to let the politicians decide if I can vape, going forward. I'm 62 now, and doubt I'll be vaping when I'm 82, if I even make it that long. So, the 20 year plan left me plenty of margin for early mod failures and the like. I feel pretty good about my stock.

I'm suffering a severe case of jealousy though, reading all the retired comments..lol. My retirement target is August, when I turn 63. We'll see if I have to adjust that target when it gets closer. Hopefully I'll have the right ducks in the right row. I'm beyond fed up with the 40 hour rat race.

Hope it works out for you come August! I was hoping to wait till I at least hit 62! The thought of being in the classroom two more years made up my mind for me! But I will be looking for a part time job so I can have a small vape budget! Too bad I won't be able to live my dream of working in a vape shop!

between here and there
I joined the retiring young crowd 5 years ago when I was 58. Did some car vacations to see the land. Still need to see Washington state, Wyoming, and Idaho. Traveled through the latter two but really didn't get to stop and site see. Really want to go back to the Grand Canyon a few more times, during different times of the year.
If anyone is able to retire at a younger age I highly recommend it. @oplholik, I, too was escorted out of the building where they retrieved all of my credentials, badge, etc. I don't miss the traffic tho or the work. I still am in contact with some of the friends I had made while working. Now my only restriction is the weather. LOL

The only thing I can say that I miss, is looking forward to the weekend. Now one day is the same as all the others:)

Yea, but aren't you looking at that the wrong way? :D

When you're retired...IMO having 1 day be the same as all the others is terrific...'cause they're now ALL like weekend days used to be! It's just one, long, never-ending, weekend now...until you die!!

But I will be looking for a part time job so I can have a small vape budget!

If you'd still like to work with kids, but the way you want to and when you want to...there's terrific money in private tutoring. Even while in college, for extra spending money, I tutored 2 different kids for an hour every Tues. & Thurs., for as long as the parents and their teachers thought they needed it and it was helping them. Got paid $20/hour per kid, and that was in 1973 and 1974. That extra $80 a week made my college fun a whole lot MORE fun!

Also did some private tutoring sometimes while I was teaching. Made more per hour then, but I didn't charge as much as the Sylvan Learning Centers did here locally. I don't see how parents could afford them at all!

Oh I'll still be very active, just removing a major portion of BS from my life. My focus is goinqg to be to enjoy life and not being a Corporate Slave ;-)
Thankfully I do my own thing and my nimble ship steers away from bs pretty quick.

When building those kayfun clones that some members shared Fasttech sku numbers here in this thread, what size wire do you use? I am having a time of it trying to catch the ends under those tiny screws? They keep popping out. I am using 26 gauge.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I just made a deal on 2 used Reos with 3 Reomizers & assorted extra bottles etc.
What's the best atomizer for these? non LP

Reomizer's are, thats the atomizer , you can use any BF RDA on those as long as it fits , i believe 22mm doesn't fit however.

Thanks. If understand this correctly, the higher the gauge the smaller the width of the wire?

Thats correct , the most popular gauge over the years has been 28 gauge but others work.

This is my goal, retire at 58. I will have 30 years in. I have 18 years and some change to go. It can't come soon enough. ;)

Finally decided to load up on some nic. Bought 1L of 100mg that should last me 10-12 years and 500ml of 48mg good for the next 3~ years. No rush on the pg/vg, flavoring or hardware right now. Just wanted to get the most crucial peice out of the way.

Good move!
