I am that older person! I have cheaters everywhere. I will benefit from the magnifying lamp!
I was a model builder as a teenager, partly because my eyesight was unusually good. I could see those itty bitty parts. My eyes are not so good these days but that doesn't effect coil building so much. In 18 months I've may be done 50 builds. I believe I could wind the coil on my Coil Master style tool with eyes closed. After that getting it mounted is only difficult if the traps for the leads are fussy. If my hands were unsteady from age I'd figure out some fixtures and techniques to work around the limitations. The more builds you do the easier it gets and being able to see what you're doing gets less important over time. Having said that a good magnifying light would probably help with learning I have one and would use it but i keep it at work for what I have to do there.

Bright and Sunny this morning in central Ga. Yesterday was interesting in Hurricane Alley!

Still waiting on my fasttech order to hit American soil. Its status yesterday was SHIPPED but still in China as of this morning.

My FT order was shipped yesterday, but it didn't show up in tracking until today. It's not showing up on the USPS site currently, but if you use the tracking number from FT on 17track.net, it will show you the status of your package as it makes its way through the shipping facility in China and onto the boat or plane to the U.S. Once my FT packages hit the U.S., I usually use the USPS site for tracking.

welcome to the addiction. i am trying to slowly go more towards one shot RF SC flacors but I still am buying lots of flavors for recipes as well. I now have 67 RF SC flavors (enough for 57 liters of finished juice apparently), 30 - 40 random other flavors and 2 - 3 liters of finished juice.... ...:

nope, never will, even when/if it makes it into the sc line (I dont do their vg line, or menthol, or spearmint).
What do you not like about the vg line?
It's what I plan on buying.

Well just got my Shenray SRv4 RTA , today , its pretty decent vape ,
23mm
4.5ml ,
Single coil deck ,jfc , Afc
Was a wee bit concerned about the wick channels well how small they where if it would dry hit or not ,
The over sized Drip tip
Everything else is perfect , threads perfect it dont leak , on first attempt , Flavours plentiful , vapes nice dence Flavourful vapour, not huge clouds but wasn't expecting that since its a single coil RTA restricted and also a nano MTL kit is available of which I'm awaiting too , along with Knightsbridge Sherman clone to side by side my Sherman.
Well shenray has put out another decent tank , that will gladly go along with my KFv5s an Taifun gt v3 , Hurricane v2 an so on .
Also a Kryten RDA too for Sqounking with an such last pic is with my wotofo drip tip installed top fill , decent tank I guess i will be picking up a spare next , every tank i like i buy a few like the Supreme plus got a signed one from BJ an Aromamizer Collection for dual builds an vertical builds ,.

Also just received my UD Skywalker rda which is another decent rda
Direct from UD
put a single build in for now .22 staple staggered build

Question for @Fozzy71 @benley73 and others with big flavour stockpiles...

What is your lifespan expectation for your opened and also sealed flavours and how are the being stored?

Thanks!

I've got some FW and HS about 4 years old now that are still very good. I also have some FA and INW for 2 1/2 to 3 years that are good. Stored them in a cabinet drawer. I've had some that lost their potency in less time. I think some flavors are just more stable than others.

I'll play. I like it simple. Single flavor or 2 flavor mix.

8oz & 16oz up here - I cover these with an almost full bag of Walgreen's cotton balls.
The bag's almost full and probably will be forever.

4-2017 flavorings 1.jpg

4oz in bottom drawer, 8oz, plastic dropper bottles of most popular and nude nic flavors in the drawer above it. I'll dump them when they lose their freshness or at least over 2 years. They usually don't linger for 2 years but a couple have and they're still good.

I have a bunch of flavors, but have been vaping the same one for a couple years. One of these days I should tap into that 120ml of Pina Colada flavoring, as I've never even tried it! At some point in the future my version of Halo Malibu will come to life!

You really should give that pina colada a go. Pineapple vapes are yummy imo.

:( I am feeling very ripped off. I have a bag of that cotton and mine DID NOT come with an origami crane. I have no complaints with the cotton though ;)

What do you not like about the vg line?
It's what I plan on buying.

I tried 5 of them. I liked the flavors themselves but some I had to use as high as 20% and steep for 2 months before they came to life, and they faded as they got older (5 or 6 months steeped) and started tasting more and more like unflavored. The super concentrates don't have these issues and give great flavor at 3.5% (some far lower percent) after just a 1 month steep. The entire VG line will be available in SC soon. I haven't gone above 3.5% yet but plan to try a recipe soon in 3.5% vs 5% vs 7% as I have seen a few people go higher on the RF SC flavoring.

Mine are stored in a cabinet, in a cool dark brick basement, that stays in the 60's even in the middle of the summer, but I plan to get a mini-fridge within the next couple of months:

Walt_RealFlavors

This came up today and I thought it would be best to post my reply... Even if the new COA section is not live as of yet... It is coming I swear.

The shelf life of a flavor will vary widely. It is best to follow this guide. To find the exact date of manufacture, please refer to your lot number and our COA guide found on our website.

Super Concentrates have a shelf life of 12-18 months (60F° to 72F°) and up to 4 years if refrigerated. Never freeze flavors, this will cause some separation, and the flavor may "break" causing you never to get them to mix again.

Be sure to store all flavors in a cool, dark place away from sources of direct sunlight heat and flame; pigments in the flavor (from the natural extracts) tend to fade or discolor over time when exposed to sunlight. This fading is normal and is to be expected. Flavor bottles can explode in temperatures inside the container reach above 150F° from evaporation. For long-term storage, refrigerate, and then allowing the flavor to return to room temperature before opening or using the flavor.
