Speaking of drip tips.. does anyone know what style of drip tip this is?

IMG_20170504_185014.jpg

It fits perfectly into my kayfun, but I don't know the style name and I worry about getting the wrong thing.. they all look alike in pictures - and of a couple ones I've ordered, they don't all fit into my kayfun, but as this one was given to me, I know nothing about it..

I'd like to someday order more of them though, as they do fit my kayfun with perfection..

@oplholik - I mentioned to their CS person that many of us had ordered a low total $$ amount of stuff last week, and were really surprised it was FREE S/H and by Priority Mail, too! She said it was a special Free S/H event for several days only, and that Priority Mail was the only way they shipped stuff then. I laughed and told her I personally couldn't understand (from a profit-making business POV), how they could do that, but that it was fine with me!

Maybe they got your order mixed up with someone elses. Sounds like it to me, if you didn't get the right drip tips and got 0 of the fuses you ordered! I'd let them know, because someone else probably got your order and not their right stuff either!

Doe this tip fit in other tanks also? Just wondering if its the same diameter as the reg drip tips and why it would fit when others will not. If just slightly smaller in diameter I would say its a 306 as opposed to a reg 510.

What is TPD and what countries are effected?
If you google TPD and EU you'll get some information. That's how I figured out what was going on, and still don't understand it all, but it doesn't affect the US. We have our own crap we are dealing with.

It almost looks like the tips that come with the Nautilus mini, only the NM tips are SS I think.

It seems to be the same size as my nautilus mini drip tip when held up against it. However.. when placed in my nautilus mini it seems it might have more room by a hair than the drip tip that came with it, and the 510 drip tip that I have to cram into the kayfun and still cannot get it in right, slides right into the nautilus mini while snug fitting, without any difficulty..

So what does that mean? 306?

As a beside.. my nautilus mini drip tip WILL fit into the kayfun.. but just barely.. (I just checked..)

Way back when, there was not any 'standard' to have all of the same sizes for everything. You had different threading for the cartos, mods, etc and the tips to fit them. 306 still seems to be around but in a slightly different look now. Before they used look the same except the 306's were a bit smaller in diameter than the 510.

This link shows the new look for the 306 and ones that look similar to yours in numbers 1-7 but state those are 510's.
The ones numbered 8-14 are the 'new look' for the 306 which now appears to slip over an carto atomizer.

@Opinionated - I'm just wondering....are you by chance trying to get that drip tip into a KF shorty a bunch of us have been making? Reason I ask is that many of us ordered bell caps that have a tapered drip tip hole in them, so regular 510 drip tips don't fit and stay in them. Only ones I could get to fit are the silicone squishy ones, and even they won't stay in, even with just a slight touch against them.

This, from your post above, made me wonder about it: "However.. when placed in my nautilus mini it seems it might have more room by a hair than the drip tip that came with it, and the 510 drip tip that I have to cram into the kayfun and still cannot get it in right, slides right into the nautilus mini while snug fitting, without any difficulty.."

That's not a dumb question at all. No reason to be sorry for asking it. :)
As long as you're OK vaping between 2.9-6.0 volts, and will use coils that are 1.2ohms or higher (since the Provari 2.5 won't fire anything lower)...sure you can use it.

You cannot sub ohm.. you have to stay above one ohm.. I vape at around 1.4 ohms and 12 watts on the provari..if you got the 2.5 you will want to set it around 3.9 volts and go up from there until you get the vape you want.

But it cannot be sub ohm..

Thanks. I'm going to order some 1.2 coils. Can't believe I finally got a provari. Seemed like a once in a lifetime deal.
Cheers!

No... I'm using the kayfun four clone by tobeco and that purple drip tip because it fit and I liked the color and mouth feel of that tip.

What I did was to purchase another 510 drip tip... I have that purple one in my kayfun, and wanted to get another color and such as well as have extras in case this one breaks.. So with my last order from kidney puncher, I picked up a couple drip tips..

But they don't work in that kayfun.. you can't get them on without fear of breaking something.. one I decided I would try to force it anyway and if it broke so be it, but I still couldn't get it all the way in, even forced.

Fast forward...I took the drip tip off my nautilus mini, to see if the purple one was the same size as the nautilus mini drip tip, and they seemed the same size. I then put the 510 I purchased on the mini tank, and it fit well albeit snugly (This was the one I tried to fit in the kayfun but couldn't) then I tried putting the nautilus drip tip in the kayfun, and it was hard to get it in but I did succeed in doing so.. unlike that 510 I bought.

Perhaps this better explains?

While you're getting 1.2ohm coils you may want to get a couple batteries for it. It takes the 18490 batteries that have the positive button on the top, and the AW IMR high drain ones are recommended by ProVape. Flat top batteries won't work in it. If you ever find a Provari 2.5 extension cap available for it...then you can use the 18650 batteries in it. The caps were made in the matching colors for the mods, but not many are available for sale now anywhere. If you can find them...they're more expensive than they were on ProVape before they closed up.

What color 2.5 did you get, by the way? I did run across some extension caps on a couple US websites. So if you got 1 of those colors (or don't really care if it's the same color or not)...I'd PM you to let you know where the caps were.

Thanks so much for the info. I bought a gold one. It was the last color they had but that was the one I wanted! Score. I'll start looking for an extension cap. Looking forward to joining the provari crowd. :)
