About overstocking - We found what we like. She's been using the same setup for over 2 years. Me, almost 2 years basically. About 2 years for the Crown and over a year for Aromamizers. Different wire with TC but same difference. If we quit vaping we'll sell it. I'm not worried about it going obsolete because we enjoy it perfectly as is.
Since it all cost under a year's worth of smoking it's cheap insurance.

Unfortunately, I bought too much at the beginning. I bought all these PT minis and some other stuff that I never use anymore and don't see myself using. I should've waited until I tried newer/more advanced tanks. Lesson learned the hard way!

Some of my stocking up was final sales by makers and sellers who went under in part because of impending regs. Sad the FDA tipped the scales against US manufacturing long enough to kill it off.

Most of the things I like are off the market or disappearing and I don't expect nic prices to get lower, so I'm happy to have good vapin' for years to come. An occasional new shiny is just icing on the cake.

I hope this allows more smokers to find their sweet spot as vapers in the future!

I only have a few regrets. Maybe I bought a few too many tanks that I likely won't use moving forward (2x Griffin, 2x Triton, 3x super Tank Mini) but that's it. Couple of weeks of smoking $$$ maybe? No big woop.

The only money I really "wasted" was buying store bought juice that I ended up not liking and a bunch of flavours that I no longer like. I boil that down to trial and error when beginning the vaping "hobby".

I am in Canada so wasn't too worried about deeming or any regs as we would likely follow the US a year or two after.

I am looking forward to buying the latest and greatest mods and tanks as they are released moving forward. My justification is that my wife and I were spending SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR on smoking. :nah: If I spend $1000 or so a year (which is a lot) on gear, nic and flavours, I am still light years ahead IMO.

You know what's funny? With all these deems I was trying to find a tank I loved and finally found one. stocked up on them, I have no desire to try anymore tanks! I guess next year my stuff will be "old school."

All my stuff was old school before I bought it out of the clearance sections.

Same with me. I have my preferred tanks that I stocked up on along with some other RTA's, and RDA's that haven't been touched yet because I'm content where I'm at.

Although I've been stocked up for some time, I seem to have adopted a stocking up mentality. Every new thing I've gotten this year, I've gotten at least two!

About $325 added to the stockpile this year, not needed but wanted. Thank goodness for clearances!

A bunch of Ego One setups
Two Evic VTC Minis
Two RX75s
Two GP Paps
Four Waidea Vaporflask clones

I'm really tempted to get a pair of those Kanger K1s - must resist!

I have one (was two) in a cart, but really don't need it, but it's such a great deal. Now with the FDA giving us a bit of breathing room I'm feeling less stressed, and less rushed to get all I can. I probably will not get one. :)

That's cool. My wife will likely never bother with anything other than Triton Minis and Nautilus 2's. She vapes to stay off cigarettes. Period. No interest in the hobby aspect or cool new vape gear. Works for me as my vape spending is enough for both of us. ;)

I thought when I tried a Subtank Mini it would be my "forever tank" but the Smok Big Baby Beast blows it away and I am now hooked on those. I still use my STMs though as they have the easiest to build RBA ever IMO. I never fall for hype, but I really do enjoy trying new things. If they don't really take (RDAs, squonking, Temp control, etc.) that's cool as I AM NOT SMOKING.
