I tried to test an order for 2 but the shipping estimator page didn't work so I backed off. Your experience confirms there is no real sale after all.I would have got 2 but the shipping was 17.93. Airmail is a bit better but is that a good option for shipping?
I don't remember HC having such high shipping.
If there are sites I want to order from and get to shipping to see something totally unreasonable.... I'm gone and usually don't come back.
I tossed one Pico in my cart too and checked shipping: it was $11.48 to Canada for DHL or $5.20 for Airmail.
$5.20 is acceptable but I don't really need anymore Pico's as I already have 4 and Airmail to Canada can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to arrive. I'm tired of having to monitor shipments for up to 3 months and I pretty much order stuff now only if I can get ePacket shipping.

Was done stocking up two years ago. Now I am in using up mode. Have not bought nothing new in eight months other than a 3.78 litre of VG/ litre of PG. My money was transferred to a new hobby......Pellet guns. LOL
Ah, but it is in their offerings if it is what they are calling 'all black'. Look at their drop down color choices, its near the bottom of the list.
And yes, I was bad.....I did not resist this offer as the picos are my favs also. So far, I have several since they first came out and they are all still going strong and in use everyday........hope I didn't just jinx myself....sigh...
edit to add: that I got free shipping on my order but I did have some 'other' items in my cart as well so that may have made a difference versus just buying the picos alone.

Wow, shipping to Canada seems a whole lot cheaper than for here in the US. I guess everyone along the way has to get their piece of the 'pie'.......smh
I just went to check all the items I ordered to see if that icon was on the product page. Each item that I bought does have that icon on the pages but I still got the free shipping. Guess the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing? I am not complaining tho.....I will take it. And I have already received the email that my package has been shipped, but not showing up yet. Ordered on Monday, got the shipping notice on Tuesday.
I agree, some of those vendors are just totally unreasonable. But I have always had good luck with HC. Been ordering from them for years, tho I always wait for their sales. To date I have never had any problems and I don't ever remember paying for shipping on any of my orders. Also when I do buy from them, I tend to spend around $100 but don't know if that makes any difference or not. I just spend a lot of time looking at their site to see if they have anything I can and do use and whether I need it or not. Since I too am really stocked up on the items I use, I tend to look for my friends also.
If anyone reading this orders from HC, I sure do hope they get the same treatment as I always have. I just can't imagine it would be any different from my experience.
I tried 3 Picos but still 17.93 shipping. I'm racking my brain trying to think of 30 dollars of something I need/want, lol. I don't need more Picos but I think some day I'll be sad if I don't or can't have one. I've never had a high shipping issue with HC before. I ordered 9 dollar ISticks not too long ago.
I guess I'll give up. I added a pulse 24, wire, and penguin coils plus 2 Picos. The cart said it qualified for free shipping but checkout added 17.93. Bummer. You're right.. the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing.
Yes, I bought 4 clearance tanks and the shipping was more than the tanks, combined, but it was still worth it. They'll probably arrive next year though, I chose the cheapest shipping...
