I ordered a couple of the 22mm berserker clones from FT based on what I read in this thread

Did you read the posts by @bnrkwest about her clone? She definitely recommends authentic Berserkers only now, based on her experience with a clone first and then her authentic one.
I hope the ones you get are better than other people have gotten. I haven't seen any posts about not having trouble with them, on here, nor in the Berserker specific threads. IIWU...I'd cancel that order and get an authentic one, to give you an idea of how good they really are. Just my :2c: though.

The Berserker clone checks all the boxes so it's worth a try.

But there's no box to check off for being the same quality as an authentic. That box would be unchecked. ;)

Reality check. I only try what I like enough to stockpile, meaning having 5-10 pieces. At $12 I'll buy a few if I like them, $35 each is a no go. My current stockpile is at the bottom of this post. I'm not going to become dependent on something where I only have one or two. I use an SV rda clone on an original Pico exclusively, partly to minimize the cost of the stockpile but mostly because the combination of features and form factor is a perfect fit for me.

My work and free time are too rugged for anything with glass. I might go looking for some stainless tubing that is the right inside and outside diameter for an existing tank I like or if it's close I have a hobby lathe and could turn and cut to size.

I understand your thinking, and I'd have gotten a clone or 2 myself, if the people who've tried them had positive comments about them. However, I've seen only negatives so far, so I stuck with authentic ones.

The authentic gold and rainbow 22mm Berserker Minis are both on sale for $20 at 101Vape, and the 24mm are on sale for $17.99 before a 10% discount...which makes them $16.19, at VaporDNA. Was just trying to help you avoid possibly wasting $24 on 2 clone Minis from FT.

Do you have all regular 75W Picos? None of the larger ones that accept up to a 25mm tank?

By the way, I built up my stockpile of both sizes of authentic Berserkers by finding deals on them. Even paid just $13.99 for about 6 of my 24mm ones. Have paid as low as $18 for some of my Minis. Guess they're more popular, so vendors don't reduce their price as much.

ETA: The Ultem tank section on both sizes is very tough. Mine have hit the pavement, my concrete floor of my barn, and my vinyl flooring below my PC desk, too, several times at least. Not a single scratch, ding, or crack yet. The metal tank section on the Minis should be great, too, though I'd imagine it would scratch and/or ding more easily. I can't say for sure, because my Minis in use have the Ultem tank on them.

I was able to accumulate a life time supply of SV rda clones for about $7 each. Original picos are notoriously cheap, will they go the distance? I'm calculating one will last for 2 years in continuous service. A confounder is whether the screens will survive on the shelf and if they don't will there be a generic part available in 5 or 10 years. Evolv sells replacement screens for their boards so there is an issue there. And the evidence persuades me that nic will last as long as we need it to though I won't be surprised if there is a slight drop in potency over a decade or two. I've smoked 10 year old cigars and pipe tobacco that was fine once it got back to proper humidity. Some how the nic survived that very exposed situation so it should be fine floating in a stable, neutral liquid, air tight, at freezing temperatures.

If Gottlieb carries on with his panic attack I'm sure I'll stock beyond my plan. I see it as an annual insurance premium instead of a one time payment. (My car insurance is horrendous here in Michigan.) I have to keep me and a younger brother vaping for as long as we might need to.

I was thinking about another 1/2 liter of nic but I am ready to drop my nic level so think I have plenty. If I drop to 3 mg I am set for ever. At 6 mg now but seems a bit harsh, so ready to drop a little again.
I calculated what I needed based on 6. I bounce between 3 and 6 periodically. I have either 6 or 7 litres of 100 mg nic. At my age, that should do, I hope. I worry more about my equipment lasting (boards, buttons, chips). I have two mechs I used exactly once each to make sure they worked. I’m hoping they stay that way.

Sounds like you are set :) For some reason I am craving zero nic, I know I like 3 or less better, so glad I have a stash of nic too :)
I did get an extra DNA board I could use if something fails. I should have enough Provari's for ever, I thought about an extra board for a Radius, but I also have 3 mech's and a bunch of kicks just incase. I have some mini GLV's that we're closest to a mech I ever used, but they took safer chemistry batts, not sure you can get the batts anymore?? They worked for cartos way back when. I still need some SS wire and some more Arnold Palmer flavor :)

3 is as low as I can go. I did several months of zero nic twice because of some surgeries. It just doesn’t have enough throat hit... the juice tasted “flat” without it. I thought because I like unflavored, no nic would work.

Just signed off on my second paycheck, so I will be getting a liter more nic, and about 6--8 months of snus. I don't see snus going anywhere, (I use it for work) but the Swedish stuff is so much better and shipping costs means it is effective to buy in large amounts.

I have to keep reminding myself I have plenty of gear, I truly do. Enough. Any other gear is kind of secondary at the moment (LOL dang bills, etc.)

But then I will feel pretty okay.

I agree, Anna but why do I keep buying stuff? I need to stop, truly. I don't need another thing in my lifetime, no matter what the stupid FDA does. Sometimes I get so tired of their bs, I just want to stick my head in the sand and say, whatever.

I have the same feeling and I have to keep reminding myself it is a response to Anxiety plus if I love something (like vaping) I can get all obsessed. Really I NEVER thought I would quit smoking, so I think the feeling is somewhat normal, personally. I am fairly sure there will always be a place in my budget for new gear (even if it's smaller) but well, there will be. Until the FDA shuts down the supply chain completely etc. But, I doubt it will happen overnight.

    that's my explanation anyway. LOL.

Have you thought about dropping from 6mg little by little...to see at what mg the harshness disappears, yet you can still get your "nic fix" from it with no problem? Maybe it's somewhere in between 6mg and 3mg. ;)

When I was gradually going up from 6mg, to find what mg would get my metabolism (and therefore my energy level & weight) back to normal...I only went up .5mg at a time. Turned out I only had to do that 2 times, to find that for me 7mg/ml worked like a charm. Maybe your "happy spot" is just a little lower than your 6mg.

IMO, most of us thought we'd never be able to quit smoking, until vaping worked for us. While we know we're "stocked up" for the future...there are still times when we think "maybe I just need 1 more L of nic, or a couple more mods couldn't hurt, or some more replacement parts for gear I already have might help, etc.". I think it's because we value what vaping has done for us so much...that even a fleeting thought of ever not being able to vape, triggers that little voice in our heads to buy more. I know that for me anyway, that's what does it. ;)

I agree, JC. For me, it was the batteries. I heard on ecf for years not to worry about batts, they are used in flashlights, blah blah blah. All the sudden, hard to get ones for Vari's, and I am hearing some vape shops are not going to carry certain ones so I don't think any batt size is safe at this point. That probably created anxiety for me so I recently bought a few with internal batts. If I can get the Berserkers to stop flooding and leaking, I should be good. I haven't played with them anymore since I have been super sick for over a week but will get back to it soon.

Right. The thought of not being able to vape makes me wonder if I could resist going back to smoking. Even after almost five years now, I'm not confident that I wouldn't if vaping were not available.

My two authentic berserkers arrived and they look identical to my 24 clone, box and all! So I will see they how work, need to get a coil in there :)
You know about batteries, I wish someone would reverse engineer those Provari pass thrus! Any takers? Wish I had bought some years ago.

Vaping the authentic 24 Berserker and works great, no leaks no gurgles with bottom filling. My juice I thought was sweet tea, but my bottle had banana in it and I thought I cleaned it out, but guess I didn't LOL so it is sweet tea banana Ha ha, not too bad! :)
