Have you considered that maybe you got "dud" coils with the 2 you've been having flooding with? Maybe buy a box of new ones and see if they work well.
KangerTechWholesale.com (now goes by LightFire Distribution, too) is by far the cheapest price for the 1.6ohm ones. I've loaded up on a lifetime supply of them at an average cost of $5.56/box of 5...with Free S/H. That's buying 13 boxes at a time though, to get the Free S/H and a surprise 10% off for getting that many. Have done that twice, like @Zazie and IIRC @NolaMel. Made me wish I'd found out about them earlier, before I bought multiple boxes at about $2 more per box, from MBV and MFS...when I thought their prices were pretty good for them.

At this point I have so much vape gear I could start my own black market in gear if the govt shuts vaping down. We could have vape Speakeasys with secret handshakes and coded knocks to keep the G men out!!
Sorry if you’ve said and I missed it, but what pg/vg are you using in the Zenith? I did have flooding when I first filled it - I used 50/50 as I normally would for mtl. Cleaned it out and tried 30 pg/70 vg and it’s fine. Although I did change the coil as well, so that could’ve been the problem, but I’ve never had that big a mess from a dud coil before.
Don't know yet. Still going strong with the coil it came with. I vape around 75% pg and I have no leaking.
I too got a couple of pod systems recently. Batteries and builds can't be replaced or rebuilt so stockpiling isn't practical. In the mean time they make stealth vaping far easier so I'll take advantage of that while the products are available. I bet there will be a maintainable pod system sooner or later
For the stockpile I plan to get a bit more nic but waiting for the sake of fresher product.
I got concerned about OLED screens going blank on the shelf so got a couple of protected but unregulated squonkers. No screens on those. But I needed an rda, with squonk pin, that doesn't leak (Cthulu 1928). Can anyone suggest another leak resistant rda for squonking? I do MTL.
I'm likely to get a protected tube mod and some $5 replacement boards to back up the backups.
For three years I kept only one setup juiced up and in service. Now there are 3 atomizers I like and they each have situations where they work best. That doesn't count the pods that are juiced up.
Based on my recent buying I must be thinking the threat of government interference is increasing. On the bright side I think I'm noticing a struggle between government officials who want to severely restrict vape products and others who prefer to tax them. May be that will create a stalemate and more delays.
Just curious but did you gets yours really soon after they came out? IIRC there was an issue with an o-ring on the first run that they corrected. I think the ones that had the problem can be easily fixed if you call them. Of course it might be the Ares tank I am thinking about, I can't remember which for sure.
The only time I had leaking with the Zenith was when I completely filled the tank. Now, I only fill 2/3 and no problem.
70/30 won't pour out of a bucket, so how could the atty leak?!?
It wasn't that it was leaking, the deck was flooding.
I put the 1.6 coil in last night and it seemed to work fine in that zenith. I'll have to order some coils and try it in the other one that I bought that wasn't part of a kit.
That could be it. The one I tried last night is one that came with a kroma kit. I'll have to get the other one out to try.
Ok, good results so far. I let the tank sit from last night until today after work and its still good. No flooding. I’m going to get some coils ordered and try my silver one again since the blue one is working.
