My vision I can fix with the jeweler’s headset (it has a light), but I think long term my problem will be the arthritis in my fingers. I have a lot of nib tanks in the stash... I think I may take the time to coil and wick them (dry) and rebox. It might save me some time and frustration in the future. I already make multiple coils at one time and put them aside. Getting the leads trapped is harder than rewicking when my fingers are “misbehaving”.
Trapping the leads is what gives me problems because of a tremor in my hands. It's very frustrating having to do it over and over. Can't tell you how many times I tighten the screw only to realize the wire is no longer trapped. I do have a few newer tanks where you don't have to wind the wire around the screw, and that makes it easier.

And, thank the vaping gods for the CLR coil. So easy to rebuild, and they last forever.

That is a great idea. I use tweezers to hold my leads, then tighten down the screw. I agree the stuff is tiny!
I’m thinking 20 or so rtas coiled and wicked will buy me some time. I use dental forceps (tweezers with grips) that my dentist gives me for free that he was going to toss. They have very precise tips and an excellent grip. They’re stainless, so easy to sterilize

Something I do now before screwing the screw down is I bend the lead and snip it off before tightening then all I need to do is screw down a little on the lead and push the tail under with tweezers then tighten rest of the way. It has saved me a lot of grief doing it that way.

I have a bunch of CLR coils stashed but have never rebuilt one, will save that project for the Dark Ages of Vape :)

I have rbas for I think the crown, triton and a few others I bought as insurance, but the build space is less than the lemo (my first building attempt)... TINY. At the time, I thought it would let me vape for a long time, but tiny doesn’t work so well now. If the time comes I can’t, I’ll pif them to someone who can.

The Nude Armor from Nude Nicotine comes in glass bottles that doesn't need repackaging.

https://nudenicotine.com/collections/nicotine

For a guy sitting in the back row of the DIY classroom...and who could be OK with unflavored ejuice if the FDA becomes NASTY enough...

If I buy a bottle of Nude Armor v1 -100mg/mL...and buy a bottle of NN VG/PG Base Mix...what ratio would I use to mix them together to end up with nicotine 6mg/ml.???

I always mix 100mls. Gives me room to shake it up in a 125ml bottle and it makes the calculations really easy. In your case it would be 6mls of nic and 94mls of pg/vg.

If you use flavoring just subtract the amount of flavoring from the 94mls of VG/PG.

It would be cheaper to buy PG and VG separately by the gallon than to get them from NN.

Actually, Nude's price isn't bad - $7.50/liter for USP, US based VG, and $9.50 for PG. I think that's better than I was paying at Nic River, anyway.

Save the video below for when you decide to rebuild a CLR. It's by @Shawn Hoefer and teaches you everything you need to know about the process. Very easy.

As always I forgot something in my order... a liter of VG.

I think it's way overpriced! At $7.50/L for VG...that's $28.50 per gallon, and at $9.50/L for PG...that's $36.10 per gallon. That's way more than buying it by the gallon of each elsewhere...like from Bulk Apothecary.

Glycerin - The 10lb. size is 1 gallon

Propylene Glycol - The 8lb. size is 1 gallon

They frequently run sales, too, with $10 off an order of $29 or more, or discount codes for 10-17% off your order. I usually wait for 1 of those sales or discounts and it makes both of them even less than the current prices above...which are way less by the gallon than by the L from NN or anywhere else.

I use Bulk Apothecary for VG and PG

As a point of reference, a gallon of VG ($14.60), a gallon of PG ($16.20) plus shipping to me in Michigan ($12.89) comes to $43.69.
I bought a cube in 2016, used a gallon & 1/2 out of it, lasts a long time.
